This sweet kitty joined the angels in February 2013 after losing his battle with complications that developed after being hit by a car the month before. He’d survived having both legs broken & surgery, but was unable to walk & had to drag himself to the litterbox. He was very brave & stayed a very sweet boy during all of the pain, infections, examinations & becoming a foster; but the angels knew that his life would not be a full one with his disabilities & thus called him home. I love parties. Wow, Beaker must be a fighter. Finster was impossible even with the pill shooter. I bet we can open a lot of cans of food while mom is away. I sure hope that we can get the garden window. Your mom is best at holding our reservation. It is gray here and thunderstorms later before a warm front moves through. Getting a late start again today. Mom saw the surgeon this morning. He is pleased with her progress & will see her again in six weeks. She will continue her PT. The new cat tree is here. It has 4 levels and lots of sissal. Mom had a $10 coupon and got it for $100 even though it was originally $140. Mom had lots of coupons. Mom got me ff and sheba. I do not like friskies but Yogi & Rosie eat at least 3 cans a day and will eat more. Mom saw a handsome tuxedo but said no more cats. It is sure pretty here today. Hope that your mom has a great mom's day, we are the kids here. Purrs...Pudding

Mom forgot to close our window yesterday morning before she went out in the back yard and after she started using that noisy weedeater, I was no longer lying in the window when she looked so she called dad on his cell phone (he was in the house) and asked him to close our window.

How are ya, today? I'm fine and I've had a great day! It was nice and warm, sunny and no rain! I've been outside all day. Usually, I come in to grab a bite, but today it's been so nice outside, I haven't bothered. But it is almost time for dinner, so I will have to think about coming in, soon. We are expecting rain, possibly starting tonight and lasting thru Caturday. I, myself have never seen a roach, but I hear that some places are crawling with them. A delicacy, you say? I wonder if that could become popular here. After all, there would be an endless supply, according to Mom!
BC and Shorty have been by 2 times each, today, so far. Shorty was on the front porch and BC came to the back door. Then my hostile furbrother, Pumpkin came and wanted to attack BC. Well, BC did eat and Pumpkin went under the porch and left him alone. Well, BC was agitated and when Mom went to pet him, he struck out and clawed Mom's hand! She wasn't very happy, but she knew what the problem was. Pumpkin is the only one that is still openly hostile to either of the kitties. Mom is hoping that things will improve. Shorty is not as aggressive as BC when it comes to the other kitties. He has never struck out at Mom or Dad.
Mom and Dad are going to their senior potluck at church, tomorrow night. Then Mom's SIL is coming online to chat, so I don't know if I'll have a chance to visit you, but I'll try.

Almost all of the Angels were in our house @ the same time... we used to be a family of 12. So you can only imagine what chaos insued when they were all here!!MOL!!! Yes the pain patch did help Mom get some relief in her back. good thing. Having a sore, stiff knee is enough! We have had several nice sunny days here. Sorry you are getting windy days. Yep, roaches! Those nasty little critters that infect everything once you get them in your house! Mom sure cringes when she sees one. Thankfully, there are none in our house, but she's always cautious when she has to go somewhere that they are. She says there's no way she could live like some of these people who deal with them every day! Many years ago, Mom went with her sister and her niece to visit her parents in Florida and she remembers the Palmetto roaches. They were definitely huge! They looked like giant beetles! The ones that we have here are mostly the small brown German roaches. Just the thought of them makes Mom sick! Well, if we saw any of those here, we'd make short work of them. We would probably eat them...MOL! The possums don't bother much around here, but during the warm summer nights, you can sure smell the skunks that go by! We've had a lot of rain, this sprint, too! Much more than normal and we also hope it keeps coming. We don't want another summer like last year. It was so hot and dry and Mom thinks that's why her garden didn't do very well. The wild blackberries just shriveled up on the bushes. And most of the grapes, too. I'm glad that Doodles was okay and only went for his check up and shots. We sure hope that whatever Strudel has will clear up and go away, now that it's been drained. Glad nothing serious was found. I'm sorry that your Mom has to go back to work, tomorrow! That's a bummer. I know she'd rather stay home with all of you kitties!

Sorry you are getting rain and cold weather! Bummer! We would not be happy with that either. Nothing much new here. Typical day. Sunny out. Mom was late getting the garbage out to the alley so looks like the truck had already passed through. That's what happens when she stays in bed too long & doesn't get up when I tell her it's time. Mom's back was very hurty this mrning so she decided to try the lidoderm patches her doctor ordered for her. They seems to be helping. PT again tomorrow so Mom has to be ready for more pain. Oh, good! Glad your Dad got the grass cut. If your grass is growing like ours, he'll have to do it, again soon...MOL! Our grass seems to stay green all summer and only turns brown when the first frost hits, usually in October. But our grass is really all weeds...MOL, crabgrass and dandelions. There's wild violets and other stuff growing in there, too! But Dad doesn't care. With 4 1/2 acres, as long as it stays green, it's good! The man who needed the microwave goes to Mom and Dad's church. He's in his 80s and has a disabled wife. He's kinda disabled, himself. They had a really bad problem with roaches and he finally got a company to come out every 2 weeks and he's now seeing a reduction. The whole bottom of his old microwave was covered in dead ones...YUCK! Dad thinks they probable got up into the motor and got fried and shorted the thing out. So, we are hoping he keeps the critters under control and doesn't let the same thing happen to his microwave.
Sure hope your Mom was able to corral Doodles so she could take him to the vet. Is he sick or just going for a check up? Hope he's okay. I am hoping that we get some good weather, soon. I hate being cooped up in the house!

Please paw by & meet this beautiful Champagne Point Tonkinese kitty. KAYLIN #251700 is not just a beautiful face she is also a CFA Champion & a Mom. She was hand picked for her new parents by her sister Wendy's breeder when she found out how sick Wendy was. But this sweet girl was already a mom so her new parents had to wait to bring her home. All of her kitties found their furever homes & then she had her Big Girl surgery. She was finally able to come to her new home in January. She wasn't sure if she wanted to stay at first, but her new parents gave her lots of love & support so we are happy to report she is settling in quite nicely. KAYLIN #215700 spends her days hanging out on Mom & Dads laps, playing with her toys, & napping in the sun. She also likes to tear through the apartment at top speed and has been known to do it in the middle of the night too. Her most favorite things to eat are the Roast Chicken, that she shares with her parents, and her Blue food. Hi Felix!
Did your Dad get the grass cut? Our Dad did ours, last week. It takes him almost all day to do the 4 1/2 acres, but he only does it every 2 weeks. Actually, it takes him about 6 hours. It used to take a lot longer, before he got his ZTR mower. We have so many trees that it was hard to get around them. He had to go back and forth to get close enough to make it all look good. Now, he just zips right around and goes on! I'll bet your Mom was ready to take the old commode, large mirror and the other things to the donation site. Nice to have things like that out of the way. There is a man in the park that isn't too well and he called Dad last night to see if he could look at his microwave, cuz his didn't work. Well, Mom had just bought a larger one not too long ago, so Dad just took the old one over and gave it to him. He had another one in the shed, which he found out didn't work, so he's gonna take that to the recycle center. So, there was 2 microwaves out of the way! One went to a good cause and the other will go to microwave oven heaven...MOL. I'm glad your Mom's garden carts are doing well. Mom's GrowBoxes are doing good, too! One of Mom's cucumbers broke from the wind, so she's gonna get another one and replant it. It will be a little behind the others, but that okay. It's still early.

Yes Mom's surgery went well. Surgeon broke alot of adhesions while she was under. It was a beautiful day. Mom walked to the closest grocery store today. We were getting low on our Meow Mix select cat food. Can't have that! She could use a couple groceries too. Mom was tired when she got home. Knee is still stiff, sore & swollen. Leaving a vote. Hi Felix!
It's me, again! Tell your Mom thanks for checking your mail. Mom always checks our mail, but she doesn't always have time to answer it. Yeah, Mom was very happy that the repairs on her van didn't come to what they thought they would. A mice surprise! That means more goodies for us...MOL! Mom doesn't get all that free stuff, but since she bought her van there, they will give her a free loaner car. Of course, she usually doesn't need it, cuz Dad is usually home on those days. But if it had to stay for any length of time, that would come in handy.

I'm glad your Mom is working on her projects and making some progress. I know she'll be glad to be finished with the bathroom. Mom can't wait to see a picture!

Well, my furiend, I have to get off of here, now as Mom has some things she has to get done before she can say goodnight and go to bed. So, take care and have a great evening. Left you a vote. Love ya!

Beautiful day. Mom is planning to go out for a walk later if her knee cooperates. Her therapist was here this morning and really stretched her knee. It is very sore. Not sure if she can get far walking. Won't know til she tries. Therapist told Mom it has to hurt alot to get the knee stretched as far as possible. Hope all is well with you. Leaving a vote. I sure would not have to depend on dad to feed us. Mom does everything here for us. We are very demanding too. Mom says that she is going to sneak some fancy feast just for me. I do not like the friskies but it is a bigger can. Yogi and Rosie can eat a can each. Yogi is getting fatter. Mom is calling him the barrel now. He does not like it. Mom likes when he muscles his way up to the window ledge. I am just as agile as ever. I am ready for a garden window and some snacks. See you soon. You look great the way you are now. Nice to hear from you, again. Mom is very late tonight, so I won't be able to stay, but if you could tell the angels that they won't be able to visit tonight, Mom would appreciate it! Glad your Mom has the vanity sanded and painted and that things are moving forward once, again. Yep, Mom is proud of her. She got her van fixed and they replaced the other ball joint as it was looking very old and wobbly, too! Sure don't want to lose another one. The A/C had a very tiny leak, but had never been charged, so Dad told them to put Stop-Leak in it and that's what they did. The alighment, the ball joint, checking and charging the A/C only came to $468. That was a lot less than the $600 they had quoted her, so she was happy. And now she has air, again!

Well, I have to go for now, but we'll all try to get caught up on the blogs, tomorrow and Furiday! Thanks so much for the compliment! You are a very handsome boy, also! Take care and here's a vote. Love ya!
