How We Met

Edward was the Head Cat of a resort that my father-in-law worked. After 2 years of getting to know Ed, my father-in-law pressed us to adopt this loving yet ferrel cat. I visited Ed one day. He came from afar after we called out his name several times. He responded and he limped over to us and melted into my lap. Ed looked tired and wilted. Between taking care of his now older children and the wife, Ed just looked like he had enough of the resorts crazy lifestyle. Moreover, the crazy owner of this resort threatened to kill Ed with a gun! We took him home to give Ed a trial "test home." He was the most loving, respectful and appreciative cat I've ever met! Non-tempermenta- l and he always responds to his name just like a dog would. We soon quickly learned that Ed was FIV+ (non-active). Ed remains healthy despite his FIV+ status and likes being the Head Cat of the House, especially after we adopted Gloria, his sister.
