Thanks for the congratulations! We sure have had a lot of partying going on over here lately. First my birthday, then the surprise COTD win and finally Easter. Whooo Hoooo it sure has been fun! Thanks for celebrating with me!

I hope you had a great Easter. Mom and Dad fumbled together in the kitchen (neither one of them are good cooks MOL!). They baked a ham, sweet potatoes and some kind of a vegetable casserole thingy. There's lots of leftovers. My brother Dasher has his eye on the ham.

You were pawsitively pawsome to help us celebrate my special day! It was so nice to be “Top Cat” in the house! Mom keeps telling me not to get a swelled head and that I don’t have a star on the Walk of Fame. I tell her just wait, Mom, just you wait!!! well looks like winter came back and angels ping and et are packing the kitty pool back up and gathering firewood. they want to take angel shadow to the galloping grasshopper to celebrate her acotd badge today. i can go for some of the crisy cricket waffles with mouse syrup and bat sausage. and they have some pawsome cinnacat rolls also. lets go be a catpig!!!

well the weather hoomans are callin for icing in the area of my earth home today. hope it dont get real bad as momma is a work and is 21 miles from home is not supposed to get above freezing there all day

angel ping and et want to head over to lake lady bug which is frozen over and do some micefishing. they have the bait packed and the saw for cuttin the hole ready and have fresh baked beetle biscuits and mouse gravy and catnip coffee, i am taking gerbil bacon and catnipcheese and quail eggs to go with the biscuits and gravy.
depending on the cold, we can either have a fish fry later or stay in and fix fish stew with mouse dumplings

and the read the frosty flipper has buy one get two micecreams free.they had a good idea bout puttin hot fudge syrup on them to warm us up . hhhmmmmmm i wonder if u can get that twice while there

Hi Moe!
Was wondering where our Apple Valley friend went! Actually Mpls Animal Control is a lot better than other cities and they do euthanize with injections. My problems were with a farmer in Wisconsin and Zeus came from Animal Control in Iowa. Mpls Animal Control does euthanize, but works with groups and even does adoption out of their facility, which is much nicer than it used to be. Our group is able to work with Animal Control here, such as their giving us permission to trap & neuter feral cats.

It's a wonderful life
Philip Van Doren Stern (1900-1984) began a short story, The Greatest Gift", in 1939. He was inspired by a dream, and reminiscent of the 1843 Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol. Stern shared 200 printed copies in 1943 with friends as a year-end cards after numerous publisher rejections.
Luckily, the pamphlet came to the attention of a RKO movie producer who purchased the rights. Frank Capra's production company saw the movie potential. He paid $10,000 for the rights in 1945. Honoring all who served -Vets/active duty military
A Long and Gracious Fall by David Budbill

A long and gracious fall this year.
The leaves are down. Gardens: emptied,
manured, tilled, smooth, and waiting.
Mower and tiller serviced and put away.

Smoker put away, as is the summer table.
Prayer flags, windsocks and their poles: down.
Twenty-foot homemade badminton poles,
peace flag at the top of one, store-bought net—all down and put away for another year.
No more outdoor summer chores.

Fall planting — peonies and tiger lilies — done.
Summer flower stalks removed, beds mulched,
a blanket for the cold. Fall pruning done.

Woodshed roof hammered down and sealed again.
Cellar closed. Drive staked and flagged so the
snowplow knows where to go.

What else is there to do? Finally, for once, we are ready for the snow.
Ready now to come inside. Time now for
words and music, poems and shakuhachi.
Time now to light some incense,
sit and stare at candlelight.

867 Honoring Your 6 Year Forever Sleep, Moe

~ BAHNEETAH'S CAT ATTACK ~

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 76 & low was 46 this morning, now it's 76 with humidity 27% & wind is 19 MPH N. Monday's suppose to be Mostly Sunny☼ & High 81.

♥ Hello Friends, it's me - BAHNEETAH 10641 ♥
♥ Well, this is what happened on Friday, 9/29. You know that TaumKat keeps coming to the front yard after mom keeps taking him to the back yard while we get our outside time in the front yard, right? Well, he did it again, & Rhoamin 2921 spotted him & vise versa. They were growling & hissing as mom went to Rhoamin & dad grabbed Taum to take him to the back yard. Mom calmed Rhoamin down enough before picking him up to take him back inside then came to get the rest of us. Sassee 10605, Jazpyr 10428 & Whyskrs 10378 immediately ran inside on their own, but I was still coming. I just got up on the front porch to come in & mom was just about to lean over to pick me up when TaumKat came charging at me. I ran off to the sliding door & he was after me. Mom was trying to grab me, but Taum pounced on me first. He had me, I was screaming & he wouldn't let me go! Mom was trying to get me @ the same time dad was trying to get Taum. It took both of them to get us apart. Mom was so scared for me since I'm the oldest girl @ age 12 plus being a cripple. Mom finally got me & held me so tight. I could feel her shaking as she kissed & hugged me then took me inside to check me over good. She seen that I was ok, but is keeping close watch over me to make sure I don't get any abscesses. Mom got both of her hands hurt with claw digs & still sore. Dad also got some claw digs, but he said he's fine. That's my first fight I had been in & I sure hope that'll be the last!

♥ I'm still ok so far. I haven't been meowing like I normally do of wanting outside. Mom says we can't go outside anymore since it seems we have an ATTACK cat! Mom told TaumKat he has no right to attack any of us & he will no longer be here if that happens again! Mom was soooo mad at him!
