Fuzzy, along with her sister Wuzzy, started life a little behind normal kittens, resulting in their human mom having to bottle feed and teach them how to *ahem* go potty. Fuzzy even ended up having a hard time coming off the bottle! Today, she thinks jumping up onto a shelf is natural, loves hanging out by herself, sleeping, eating and making herself look gorgeous. My dear CC friends (fur and otherwise) Thank you ALL for the Love and support through the passing of my mommy.
I am adjusting to the new house and Aunt D and Jim are very good to me (even though I let Jim know that he is still not my favorite person.) I really do not like the fact that there are other creatures around The big black guy is my least fav.. He is so scary I run and hide under a table. I hiss at the rest of them and they leave me alone. Today I let the one they call Bear sleep six inches from me on MY blanket. They think that my stuff is their stuff. Whatever!
I heard Aunt D talk on the phone I guess that moms place is cleaned out and Aunt D wont be going there any more. Thats fine with me if I can't go home no one should be there.
Aunt D wants me to join her family so I won't be cheking in here very often. Mommy didn't give out her password so we have to build a new page for me. (when Aunt D has the time). It hurts to think of this part of my life is over and a new one is begining. I am 9 years old what a pain in the tail.

Sissy thank you and your siblings for sharing your Mom and Dad. They were troopers for saving Mom and I. I don't know what we would have done without your Mom. She is an espert ear drop giver even with my expert zquirming. She is my second Mom for sure. Now Josh I don't know what we are goiong to do. You see I will let him touch me when I am ready; but I have to be in control. You whisper and tell him if he just sits doen and ignores me I'll surprise him and crawl up on his lap when he is least expecting it. I'm female and a cat. That should explain it. yes you are a special kitty! you are so lucky your family loves you so much! isnt getting nice outside have you looked at the sunshine? mom says its been in the 60s here and her and dad went for a walk yesterday to check out the trail. it wasnt muddy so they say they can take one of us next time in the stroller. yes i hope callies appt. goes well.

Mom hasnt had a class yet on diabetes in cats. so she does not feel comfortable giving you advice on what to eat for it that doesnt taste yukky. Your best bet is too tell your vet you are not having much luck with the food he recommended and see if he can give you an alternative food to eat. sorry baby girl. we feel for you we really do. we wish we could be more helpful. if you do get any advice from people check it with your vet first to make sure its okay before you do it. mom is only in her third quarter at school so she is just now getting into her vet tech classes. One thing your mom might do is feed all of you the same thing so she wont have to make sure you dont get in the others food. wish we could help you more sissy. also you might check the internet about your ailement but like i said before check with your vet before you start something new. take care pretty girl and you will be in our prayers.

I had hoped that I would be back to blogging by today, but unfortunately, it is taking me a while to bounce back. I am doing well, I’m just not eating as much as they think I should and I’m still a little bit slow doing a few things, so my parents are devoting a lot of time to me right now.
We have decided to give me a couple more days of rest and I will hopefully be back to blogging with all my friends on Monday.
Until then, I wanted to thank you for your prayers, support, encouragement and friendship as I have gone through my surgery and recovery. You have been such good friends and we are truly grateful and fortunate to have you and your family in our lives.

hi beautiful sissy and gang!
my mom says thanks for the encouragement! Yesterday she went to spay neuter day at the school. its something that happens once a month. she got to monitor a dog during surgery. this is charting the dogs vitals every 5 minutes, watching the machine that delivers the anesthestic, and charting when the surgery began and ended. plus the temp of the animal and vitals when it is waking up. then she got to eat pizza! she said she did allright but needs more practice. so shes practicing on me and leo! taking vitals not surgery! she hasnt pulled out her rectal thermometor yet though. THANK GOODNESS FOR THAT!

Please give a COTD VOTE of support THURS., Jan. 7, to ENGINE #147060, also known as Miss Squeakers, the darling little rescue girl with a purr like a finely tuned engine! Little Engine was heard meowing one morning in the parking deck where her adopted Mom works. By the end of the work day, poor Engine was HOWLING in the parking deck! It took her adopted Mom 3 hours, a new cat carrier, some string, and a can of tuna fish to finally entice Little Engine to extend a wee paw into the carrier. Thankfully, Engine did not have to try to survive long in the parking deck as this is no place for a kitten. ENGINE is so relieved she found the courage to take those steps into the carrier as her Adopted Mom & Dad not only give her unconditional love, they belong to 11 other kitties who are part of this loving family! You might know some of Engine’s siblings : Exit, Rhubarb, Biscuit, Ping, Orzo, Strudel and Felix are also on CC! Needless to say, Engine is no longer a wee kitten. She is actually sort of “fluffy” as she is working on her second belly. Her rescue words of wisdom: One needs to have extra insulation in case of a kibble shortage! Her only pet peeve at this time is Sophie, who Engine calls the kitty pest of the family! Lets give Engine a COTD vote of support THURSDAY to help her receive a January COTD badge Friday morning!

Where is Hudson's Hope, British Columbia, you may ask? Well, Find Lake Williston in the center of the province and go east following Farrell Creek, Can't miss it as it is located just off HIghway 29 (or Beattie Drive). It's a hopping place as HH has a museum, a hotel, and the Peace Glen Pub. More importantly, it is the home of a very dedicated lady who rescues abused and abandoned felines. Thank you very much for the compliments on my kittens. I am proud of them. I am also glad we found a furrever home, it could get as low as 10 degrees tonight, which is unusual for this area.
