Education: April 2013 UPDATE: Fancy has found a new home across the street. She was tired of the kittens (now grown) chasing her around. Tiny & spunky, she WAS queen of the house until the kittens outgrew her.
This neighbor has helped us out before, when Mariah went to live with her, until she became an angel at 16. Guess she loves the gray cats!
My favorite tricks and treats are: I throw toys up & catch them in the air. and To be scratched behind the ears & rubbed gently on the tummy.
Where I hang out: Mommy's bed
My favorite grubs: Fancy Feast, of course!
My pet peeves: When none of the other cats will play with her.
What I love about my owners: I get petted any time of day or night! My dish is never empty.
My cat hobbies: I sleep on the bed all day; but when Mom leaves, I sneak over to the middle of the bed where the plush throw is!

How We Met
I went to a pet feedstore for supplies & saw her, the last cat left from the shelter. She purred back to my voice immediately, begging with her paws through the cage to have me come closer & touch her. After I petted her, she refused to let me go! "No, take me with you," she seemed to say. I couldn't leave her there. She had already chosen me.

Observing the heavens
The Leonids generally begin on November 13 and end on November 21, with maximum generally occurring during the night of Novemer 17/18. Observers are generally treated to displays of about 10 meteors per hour on the night of maximum. About every 33 years, the Leonids enter a phase of enhanced activity. During these periods, rates can amount to hundreds and even thousands of meteors per hour.

10 ~~My Sweet Thank You~~

When I first started coming to my now home I ate like there was no tomorrow and I was under weight. She was calling me "Little Man". Summer 2009 I came daily to eat and this lady would always see me and came to talk to me. I was very scared and she knew this so she stayed her distance. She told me that I could just stay and sleep here since I was here to eat. She is real nice but I still get scared. In October she told me again I can stay here so I took her up on her offer not knowing what she was asking for. In November she seen I had a friend with me and that my friend was close to me and much smaller who she realized that it is my baby and that she had to rename me. MOL! Now she thinks Sylvr is a girl but not for sure. I will let my now mom figure out the kitty puzzle. MOL! Now my weight is good and I don't have to worry where mine and Sylvr's next meal is coming from. No more looking for a dry, warm and safe place to sleep as I have found it!

Welcome to Cat Channel
It's time for Mouse Hockey !
We are looking for any cat interested in making new friends, sampling exotic foods, and, in case I forget, play ice hockey. Our cat teams follow one of the top 16 NHL team from preseason all the way to the Scamper Cup (Stanley Cup). The Rodent Rippers defeated the KItty Avalanche this past season in an exciting 7 game series. This year we will be meeting at the Chubbs Arena #121409 on Wednesday, Friday & Sunday with a start time of 8 pm ET.
