The temperature was high 57 & low was 31 this morning, now it's 56 with humidity 47% & wind is 12 MPH. Sunday's suppose to be Mostly Sunny & 57.

Thanks for all the Prayers for Grandma.She is still in ICU.Her heart keeps acting up & she still has blood clogs on lungs. They have been very nice & lets Mom & her sister sat in there with her cause Grandma does better if they there. 61 ~~Motorized Stick~~
This morning the temperature is 45 with the humidity at 90% and the wind is Calm. We have a blue sky and we're suppose to have Sun with a high of 82.

We were all napping in our usual beds and seen mom walk by us as she had something in her hand. We couldn't tell what it was for sure but it looked like some sort of big stick. All of a sudden we heard this noise in the easement (alley) to find out that stick was making that noise. Mom used it to wack that tall grass and weeds down and then when she was done she seen were stayed in our beds. She said "Oh good, you girls never left". Well duh mom, that motorized stick scared us that we didn't dare move. MOL!

It's been awhile since our visit. How are you doing?

No hunting for me,more rain. I am getting sick of rain.Its been raining all week now,give us a break. I told Mom I could hunt in the rain & she said no.The other day when it was sprinkling she let me out & I came in & track mud all over the floor & jumped on the coffee table & end table & left my little prints.I thought it was cute, a designer table, any cat lover should love it but Mom wasn't impressed,infact can you believe she wipped my little prints off.The nerve! SMUDGE shows he's well worth the price
by creating toilet paper masterpieces at night.
Being so young, it's fun to do summersaults, leap high,
and them meows "Mama" to say "it's time to fly."

SMUDGE is also very brave
chasing a fox out of his yard
for which he received a great rave!

Motor Max, aka, SMUDGE can purr up a storm
but living in his house, sure isn't the norm.
He can't get along with Chester, and Meanie
teases him by hitting him on his beanie.

Taint fair when he gets squirted by the water bottle
or the word "NO" for running after Meanie full throttle,
so to retaliate, he opens cabinet doors, lures her in
and allows Meanie to be "unseeny."

I suppose you're sick of all this rhyming,
but SMUDGE doesn't care, he's off walking
with Dad and isn't even pine-ing.

The temperature is at 65 with humidity at 81% & wind is 10 MPH. Sunday is suppose to be more RAIN & 67. We have been having lots of rain from last night up to about noon then tapered off. We have a rain shower on and off.

Mom and dad will be going to mom's brother's (Jeff) on Sunday for lunch and visit with her other broter (Bob) from San Jose.

Today has been pretty quiet with most of us napping even mom took a short nap. Bahneetah 10641 was meowing and would stop til she got to go outside in the rain. Mom left her out there for a bit then brought her back in. Now Bahneetah is happy and sleeping in the bed next to mom.

LEO'S 129433 Momma Janada is home & on IV for food & antibiotics. Her surgery was on 8/17 & didn't do the Leparscopicly due to swelling & infection. Came home on 8/22 and back to hosp two nights later for another infection which almost made her slip away. Now has a drain tube in colon & hopes it to come out on 9/09. She is back home in bed.

MING'S 35773 ear infection is better but now has sinus problem started back again & if he does not seem better come Tuesday then back to the hospital. His momma thanks everyone for making BUSTER 35915 COTD in their absence and is unsure when you will all be thanked.

VOTE ANGEL 92442 COTD SATURDAY, SEPT. 5
An angel who admits that she is a thief and a tease? Yes, the lovely ANGEL actually told on herself, admitting that she pilfers - or maybe - pawfers - people food. She is very fast in everything she does which means she rarely gets caught. She even talks fast!! Angel's favorite pastime is teasing her sisters. She darts at them like she is daring them to play then takes off. No one is safe, as she practiced her chasing techniques at the early age of 12 weeks with Sassy who was eight and not prepared for such antics. ~ ~ Picture a finally calm Angel; letting Smokey wash her face; thinking all is well with the world ~ ~ now picture Smokey stunned by a sudden attack!! Angel loves her laser light, mice and feather tease but even more, she loves her Mom for taking her in after she was found abandoned in the engine of a car. This little grease monkey has turned into quite a handful but feels safe, loved and secure. Oh, until she tries to climb the screens hunting for bugs no one else can see! Do you do a "huggy?" At an animal shelter, FRISKY 130716 knew just what to do to get his Mom's attention. While she was holding him he ran his head into her chin! Yup - Instant love and Mom's calls that head ramming a "huggy." FRISKY is a lover boy - giving Mom's lots of huggies. He's also Grandpa's boy - and will only lay on his lap. Frisky senses that his Mom needs him to help her. Sometime's his Mom falls due to balance issues and he's right by her side. This 4 yr. old sleek handsome black male is young at heart. Frisky is a "tail gamer" playing games that usually involves his tail : Where is he? Where did Frisky go? Oh look, I see a black tail out from under the couch! Got ya! Oh look - that hall rug grew a bump and a tail! Another got ya! He loves to play hide and seek and usually his tail gives him away. Another game he plays is "tail fires": his ears lay straight back, eyes get wide and off he goes - running like his tail is on fire! As King of the House, FRISKY does pretty much as he pleases. He enjoys watching birds, playing with his gray and brown mice toys, or just resting on the back of a chair. Wouldn't a gold COTD badge look nice on his black fur? We think so - Maybe we could tie it to his tail and he could run like the wind! Vote on Thursday, 9/3 for FRISKY 130716.

The temperature is at 84 with humidity at 31% & wind is 9 MPH. Wednesday is suppose to be Partly Sunny & 79.

Tonight we want to share a disturbing story as it was emailed to mom. We left out names so we don't get in trouble. This happened in Arizona.

"Deputies arrested a man who tried feeding a kitten to a python snake and then drop-kicked it to death.

The man was arrested Monday and booked on one count of animal cruelty.

Deputies received a DVD from an unnamed source familiar with the incident that depicted the man throwing the 6-week-old kitten at the python in an attempt to get the snake to attack it.

After that failed, the video then shows the man drop-kicking the kitten across his front yard, killing it.

"This is a disgusting act of violence towards a defenseless animal and I have zero tolerance of this type of cruelty," said the County Sheriff."

This morning the temperature is 49 with the humidity at 86% and the wind is Calm. We have an partly cloudy sky and we're suppose to have a high of 82 today.

When mom brings out our dry food, most every morning she has to tell the neighbor kitty (Daphne) to go home as she always wants to eat here which mom didn't used to mind, but Daphne never gets along with us and her and my mama (Baby 13286 will fight. Mom tells Daphne she can't be here cuz she fights.

COTD WED 9/2 VOTE #35915 Buster!
Please give a COTD VOTE of support WEDNESDAY, September 2, to BUSTER #35915, a long haired crazy but sweet tuxedo fella! As a kitten Buster found himself & his littermates abandoned & up for adoption at a vet’s office. Lucky for Buster, a special cat loving family came in and the rest is history. Buster #35915 is now 3 years old and King of his castle ~ just look at his pictures, happily sharing the top of his cat house with his 8 yr old nearly blind sibling Samson! BUSTER is quite the acrobat doing flips in the air for his feather wand toys and is known to run and leap on his Dad, ready to play another game of spin the kitten! Looking at Buster’s precious profile picture, we are reminded of the quote “There are people who reshape the world by force or argument, but the cat just lies there, dozing, and the world quietly reshapes itself to suit his comfort and convenience!” (Allen & Ivy Dodd).

We had a flock of geese come by our house & they were gather in the field next to us. I watched them from our back yard. I sure wanted to chase them but Mom told me they would bite me. There was so many of them. Mom says cooler weather coming. Heres a big salmon vote & a hug Brina
