The Friskies, the cat Oscar award
All CatChannel felines are winners!
An hour and 25 minutes of funny, cute and interesting short feline videos consisting of four categories:
1. CATness: the essence of cat behavior, capture a cat (or multiple cats) just being a cat, moments of pure cat wonder, quirkiness, and delight;
2. CATcom: capture a cat (or multiple cats) in a humorous situation;
3. CATventure: capture an indoor cat (or multiple cats) on an adventure;
4. CATchall: miscellaneous category for Entries that don't fit in to one of the other categories.
Judging criteria:
Originality & overall artistic impression (25%)
Cinematography & overall technical production (15%)
Audience appeal & entertainment quality (15%)
Portraying cat playfulness or quirks (if appropriate) (15%)
Sense that there's a story being told (15%)
Portraying cat's perspective (15%)
This year's awards took place in October but never to early to videotape kitties for the next event.

Hi, Pretty Lil Gal & Little Girl!
How are you both this morning? I am already up and playing hard, but I wanted to say an early morning, "Hi" and tell you both that I hope you have a fun day.
Alabama is a pretty place and we have lots of trees and big hills, here. It gets cool in the fall and the winter can get cold, too (at least for us); although we don't get much snow. You are lucky up there in West Virginia, because you get lots more snow in the winter than we do.
I am so happy to hear that Demon & Little Demon are related to you. They are both so pretty and cute.
I see that winter is your favorite month. Is that because you get lots of snow in the winter? It would be nice to have snow to play in. Since we don't get much snow, my favorite season is spring. I love it when all the azaleas and trees bloom and the trees put on their new leaves. It's just a magical time of year for me.
Well, I gotta go and get started playing again. I hope you'll drop by and play again, soon.
