I am Domestic Shorthair from winchester, CA

Nicknames:

Age: 5 years old

Coat: short haired

Education: She loves to chase a little puffy pink ball thru the house, pick it up in her mouth, and back to me to throw again.

My favorite tricks and treats are: She will play hide and seek, peeking around corners with one eye, or creeping up slow and then as i look around corner she pounces on my face. And of course she plays fetch like a dog would, but with her pink puffy ball. and She is very picky about her food. But she does love to eat a few blades of grass in the backyard now and again.

Where I hang out: She has a particular spot in every room of the house. Its the same spot each time, exact. Here are 2. Her cat post, and a spot in the house kinda between all rooms where she can watch everyone and never feel alone.

My favorite grubs: Turkey, or chicken Gerber Meats Baby Food, or of course Fresh roasted chicken.

My pet peeves: I dont think our Tabby has any.

What I love about my owners: Constant affection and love.

My cat hobbies: She loves to watch the hummingbirds in our backyard. She gets her mouth quivering and its so cute. The birds taunt her and when she jumps at them they fly away, or they swoop down just close enough to get her excited.

How We Met

A family friend had a litter of kittens and my daughter had been bugging for a kitten for a few years. We decided yes. My cat who died in 2001 at 14 years old was my baby. So getting another cat was not easy for me. I became attatched to Tabby instantly. At 3 months old she went where i went. She would follow me everywhere and where she could not i would carry her. She is such a love. She loves to constantly be the center of it all. And that she definatley is.

An hour and 25 minutes of funny, cute and interesting short feline videos consisting of four categories:
1. CATness: the essence of cat behavior, capture a cat (or multiple cats) just being a cat, moments of pure cat wonder, quirkiness, and delight;
2. CATcom: capture a cat (or multiple cats) in a humorous situation;
3. CATventure: capture an indoor cat (or multiple cats) on an adventure;
4. CATchall: miscellaneous category for Entries that don't fit in to one of the other categories.
Judging criteria:
Originality & overall artistic impression (25%)
Cinematography & overall technical production (15%)
Audience appeal & entertainment quality (15%)
Portraying cat playfulness or quirks (if appropriate) (15%)
Sense that there's a story being told (15%)
Portraying cat's perspective (15%)
This year's awards took place in October but never to early to videotape kitties for the next event.
