The Friskies, the cat Oscar award
All CatChannel felines are winners!
An hour and 25 minutes of funny, cute and interesting short feline videos consisting of four categories:
1. CATness: the essence of cat behavior, capture a cat (or multiple cats) just being a cat, moments of pure cat wonder, quirkiness, and delight;
2. CATcom: capture a cat (or multiple cats) in a humorous situation;
3. CATventure: capture an indoor cat (or multiple cats) on an adventure;
4. CATchall: miscellaneous category for Entries that don't fit in to one of the other categories.
Judging criteria:
Originality & overall artistic impression (25%)
Cinematography & overall technical production (15%)
Audience appeal & entertainment quality (15%)
Portraying cat playfulness or quirks (if appropriate) (15%)
Sense that there's a story being told (15%)
Portraying cat's perspective (15%)
This year's awards took place in October but never to early to videotape kitties for the next event.

Guess what I did this morning! I was running and racing through the house like crazy-as usual!-and I ran right through the food dish and kibble went flying through the air! It went EVERYWHERE,and I ran and hid! Thought mom was going to yell at me,but all she said was 'boy' and laughed! Can you imainge? Then she swept it up and put more kibble down! Whatever a *Protest* is,I think I need to launch one! Mom hardly ever blogs for me! You reckon it's cuz I'm still a baby? Mom says I am in my 'terrible two's' for kittens! Hey,I call it just having fun! I do hear the word "NO" an awful lot,hehe,just cuz I like to nibble on mom's plants and climb her legs,tear up the rugs and spill the water bowl,drink out of her glass-all fun things to do! My Name is Levi,and I am seven weeks old! How old are you now? You are just the prettiest thing I have ever seen in my little short life! I was found where my mom works at two weeks of age,so they called my mom to see if she would take me-of course she said yes. She bottle raised me,and now I do just fine~except I still like to suck on her hand,and she LETS me! Come visit sometime! Left a vote,a hug and many purrs!! Yep! you and I are two very lucky kitties to have found a good home.
Mom hates it when I play with her feet especially when she is on the phone! She will start giggling and beg for mercy. I love it and I will pounce again and again and she will put me in the carrier to chill. But she is smiling ear to ear and laughing and finishes the phone call and let's me out. Said it isn't nice to laugh and beg for mercy while one is on the phone! Tehehe!
Mom tells me that I would not take formula from the bottle or dropper and wobbly as I was I wanted to eat from the bowl! She said I filled my tummy and she could never keep my face clean! I still hate for mom to clean my face.
I am so glad that you and I can be friends. We both like feet and that is cool.

I got a shot at the vet today...I thought it was just a wellness check (cause I'm new here at my furever home), but that mean old guy (who I thought was my new BF) read my reports and said it was time for anoooother one...What's wrong with these people? I just can't believe all these shots, just to stay healthy! Oh well, I showed them....I was so good and acted like it didn't even hurt...I bet they think they've got one tough cookie, huh?
Well, I gotta go...cause I just got up from my looong nap and I'm ready to rock 'n roll! :)

My fur mom abandoned me at three weeks old too! I had what the neighbor said was a warble between my shoulders. He found me and gave me to mom. I was always the independent one! I had my nose in the formula from the first day mom got me! I wasn't going to have a thing to with a bottle! Tehehe! I am now five months old and healthy and a mischievous fella. I would like to be a friend.
