The Friskies, the cat Oscar award
All CatChannel felines are winners!
An hour and 25 minutes of funny, cute and interesting short feline videos consisting of four categories:
1. CATness: the essence of cat behavior, capture a cat (or multiple cats) just being a cat, moments of pure cat wonder, quirkiness, and delight;
2. CATcom: capture a cat (or multiple cats) in a humorous situation;
3. CATventure: capture an indoor cat (or multiple cats) on an adventure;
4. CATchall: miscellaneous category for Entries that don't fit in to one of the other categories.
Judging criteria:
Originality & overall artistic impression (25%)
Cinematography & overall technical production (15%)
Audience appeal & entertainment quality (15%)
Portraying cat playfulness or quirks (if appropriate) (15%)
Sense that there's a story being told (15%)
Portraying cat's perspective (15%)
This year's awards took place in October but never to early to videotape kitties for the next event.

Hi Snowpy, I am little girl. I would like you to please vote for me for cat of the day. I will vote for you each day too. Please vote for me to, because my life a tradgic. My mother cat got pregnant on accident. When she got pregnant, six weeks later she had me and my brother. Our mother was covered with fleas. She almost died with us in her. Through our life my owner "KIMBERLY" and her mom "KIM" tried to keep weight on us but we were not getting enough nutrition from our mother, becasue she would not eat. We were so small. I "LITTLE GIRL" got round worms. I suffered several weeks with round worms, but luckly my owner and her mom get them to go away. I was still not getting bigger. So I had to get bottle fed because I would not eat enough food. So finally my owner got me to eat and I am better now and I got bigger. Please vote for me and I WILL vote for you for cat of the day.
