The Friskies, the cat Oscar award
All CatChannel felines are winners!
An hour and 25 minutes of funny, cute and interesting short feline videos consisting of four categories:
1. CATness: the essence of cat behavior, capture a cat (or multiple cats) just being a cat, moments of pure cat wonder, quirkiness, and delight;
2. CATcom: capture a cat (or multiple cats) in a humorous situation;
3. CATventure: capture an indoor cat (or multiple cats) on an adventure;
4. CATchall: miscellaneous category for Entries that don't fit in to one of the other categories.
Judging criteria:
Originality & overall artistic impression (25%)
Cinematography & overall technical production (15%)
Audience appeal & entertainment quality (15%)
Portraying cat playfulness or quirks (if appropriate) (15%)
Sense that there's a story being told (15%)
Portraying cat's perspective (15%)
This year's awards took place in October but never to early to videotape kitties for the next event.

COTD!!!!! Wow, I am so suprised, I can't believe it!!!! One of Meowmy's friends e-mailed her and said she better get on CC and look at COTD, we were both shocked!!!!!! I am so honored you all voted for me and that I got a shiny new badge, I can't thank you all enough, and thanks for all the wonderful gifts and great food, MOL, we will be eating like Kings and Queens here for awhile, very yummy stuff!!!!!! Shadow was exactly what he was looking for! Dad brought the kitten home and introduced him to his adoptive brothers Sammy and Dino. Shadow went right to work establishing himself as the main source of fun and mischief for the entire family! Hi Josie,
I wanted to thank you very much for voting for me and helping me get my COTD, I am wearing it with honor.
I was so excited when Mom told me that I started cloud jumping and almost missed my pawty :( But I made it in time and I really enjoyed the tuna with the catnip cupcakes, they were yummy.
Mom is behind in her blogs because of the flu but is trying to catch up (I told her to hurry up, tee hee).
I've been gone from Mom for almost a year and not a day goes by that I don't tear up when I think of her, I miss her and all my friends like you. I can still feel the love that she sends my way everyday and she says she feels my sandpaper kisses that I send her too.
