I am Domestic Shorthair from Mckinleyville, CA

Nicknames: Rubles, Ruby Canuby, Marmotte, Micro(pronounce- d mee-crow)

Age: 4 years old

Coat: short haired

Education: she figured out what the litter box was for in only 3 hours (the first of the litter)-- I was amazed since she had no feline mom to help her.

My favorite tricks and treats are: umm, she can jump pretty high. She's still a baby and hasn't quite found her niche. SHe has an award winning purr and chirp sound that she makes though :) and vitakitty treats, whisker lickin's soft chews by Purina

Where I hang out: on her Hello Kitty blanket, near her mama (human)

My favorite grubs: Ruby will eat most anything but she is particularly partial to vitakitty treats, whisker lickin's soft chews by Purina and emmental cheese.

My pet peeves: Being left alone or locked out of the bathroom, a bedroom. ESPECIALLY if the other cat is in there with me.

What I love about my owners: She's loved and cared for me from day one making sure to keep me alive when somebody dumped in the garbage.

My cat hobbies: snuggle and purr while suckling and kneading her soft blankie.

Pet motto: If I haz a snuggle partner, I haz a happy.

How We Met

Someone dumped a litter of 4 kittens out with their garbage near a vet's office and while I was on my way to taking my older cat (Stella, who had 10months at the time) to the vets office. We took them inside thinking the vet would be able to care for them. The vet wanted to put the kittens who had 1 day old, to sleep..EEEK so home with me they went. I was only able to keep one and gave the others away, 2 of which ended up dying of a genetic disease- another story, another day.
