Hi Yukki and all!
Can you believe this weather? We ended up with about 6" snow last week, and I know McKinney got hit hard, too - Momma posted pics of some icicles hanging from our front porch in my gallery - every time one would start to melt and fall, you could hear them hitting the sidewalk - they were scary, and she had to find ways to get to the mailbox without walking beneath them.

Now we are in for another blast this Wednesday - I think we should all move to Alaska - it's much nicer there! Warm hugs to all, Felicity

A CC Christmas Eve
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through CC
There was scurrying and hurrying, pawrents busy as can be.

While the kittehs were nestled, all snug in their beds,
Visions of catnip mice danced in their heads.

The stockings were hung on the cat condo with care
In hopes that Santa Paws would soon be there.

The pawrents were tired but looked lovingly at
Their beautiful furbaby, their companion, their cat.

They thanked Almighty God for this furry creature to love,
For they knew their kitteh was a gift from Heaven above.

The pawrents retire after a long, busy day
Of wrapping, decorating and hiding things away.

Now, thanks have been spoken by families for gifts received
The day has gone smoothly, and pawrents are relieved.

Christmas day is done, it is late on Christmas night,
Festivities are over, kittehs from catnip highs sleep tight

But not losing sight of the true meaning of the day
Of little Lord Jesus, asleep in the hay...

In the stillness all across CC, CatChannel pawrents, as if all were one
Said, “And most of all, thank you, God...for Your Son.”

It's been a glorious weekend in FL. The humidity switch is off and yesterday my parents spend the afternoon at the beach. It's only us locals now so it's not very crowded. The Gulf was calm.

This is to let you know Mom is flying to Michigan for 2 weeks this week and so we'll be off-line for awhile. We hope you're enjoying Fall in TX. Mom can't wait to see the Fall colors up North. She's from Michigan so she'll be visiting family and friends for the last time this year. She'll begin her every other month travels back there starting in April.

This Is Tye-Dye, Sabrina Anne’s newest friend ,Sabrina is taking a nap so I got my new mom to get some blogging for me, I’m having a lot of fun here, I’m out of my cage right now sitting on my gym getting some treats, Peanuts, sunflower seeds,. fruit, I do take flight once in a while, But I’m told no, then I’m back up in my play gym. Today I got to go for a ride to the pet store for a nail clipping, my pawrents don’t want to clip my nails because my nails are black and you can’t see the quick, so best to go out and get them clipped, my wings was clipped before I came here 2 weeks ago, so now I’m doing real good. Everyone here is teaching me to talk which will take some time, I do give lots of kisses, I step up and down when told to. today I even started to dance with the music. Have fun my new kitty friend. So My Furiend, As you can see on my Photo page I have a new friend, This is my first time with Him Or her. My pawrents got him Or Her at a place called Pets Plus On Saturday 9/4, His Birthday Is 4/7/10 ,he’s about 4 months, He’s is what they Call a (Sun Conure) He Or she Has a lot of yellow on the head and orange, The Feather tail is green and blue, We were told that they grow the fastest in the first 12 weeks So he’s about to the size he’ll stay at and of course watch his weight, To find out If the bird is a girl or boy we will have the blood test done, The man at the store said that’s the only way to find out If it‘s a girl or boy. They live for 30 years, So my pawrents just kidding say he’ll out live us, Me yes My pawrents No. So They got him because I was such a good girl with my mom’s girl friends bird (Conrad) that they thought I should have some company. We are taking a poll on names, There are a few names below that we would like you to chose from Or if you have a very Unusual name let us Know, We don’t want common names. We have been really thinking about the last name on the list, But you may have a better one. The name should be for a girl or boy. We also would like a first and middle name. Please let us know within the next 2 days .MOL!

Sorry I have not been to chatty lately, My pawrents have been busy with work so no one here to type what I’m thinking and my birdie friend went back home, he was a really interesting bird, at first he was intimated for the first 2 days, then when the 3rd day came he just thought you can’t get in here, so the birdie which my pawrents called him Conrad would just go about his business and me of course wanted to know what he was doing so I would just sit there and watch him crackling open the sunflower seeds and making all kinds of noises when Conrad ate, and when he got close to the cage I’d go over a try a smell his tail, well he did not like that so much, so he would try and whack me with his beak ,I soon learned not to get my nose so close, there was no way to get my paws inside of the cage, so my pawrents trusted me all day while they went to work ,I would Lay right next to him and watch him, and when nothing was interesting going on, I went up stairs and slept on my perch till my pawrents would come home from work, they can see me when they come up the drive way. At night when the birdie was being covered I would peek under the blanket every night to see if he was OK and he sounded like he was saying his prayers (Thank God I made it through another day) Oh just kidding . A surprise to all of us, that he did not make a whole lot of noise, but when he would you could sure hear him but it was for short times, not all day. So I do miss him he was good company. So now we have baby bunny’s I wonder if they will come inside and spend time with me? Tee Hee. So my friend you have a great Saturday =^..^= Purrs &Kisses

**Happy Summer from the RB**
It's been a good Summer at the Rainbow Bridge so far. All of us kitties have enjoyed having picnics and playing games. A favorite past time has been dancing on our clouds starting in the late afternoon and into the evening hours. Trouble is though some of us have been doing a little too much dancing! Pop up showers have happened at my FL home during these hours! Ooops! Sorry Mom. Now if we Angels can figure out a way to "turn off" the humidity switch in the south - we'd all be given awards!

I had such a good time yesterday with all my friends stopping over to see me, I never thought I had so many friends, all you kitty’s here at CC. are wonderful, and everyone here is very special to me. I’ve been playing with my new toys and tearing them up, all the flowers I got are just so pretty, and the food I got was just out of this world, some of them I’ve never had, Superior white fish, Sounds delish, and Oh I got catnip candles, they are wonderful I just roll around and roll around and around, till my pawrents blow them out.
So I’m a little tired after all the festivities, I’m going to say my prayers and catch a short nap before supper.

But that's summertime in Florida. Mom went into her pool and could have taken a bar of soap with her. It was like bathwater! I told Fuzz to stay off the swimming pool diving board and if he wanted to keep cool - to sleep in a shaded flowerbed. My wise advice wasn't needed though - Mom didn't let him outside. I guess the best place to be on this hot summer day is inside with the AC. My recent blood work shows my renal failure has progressed. We're on top of it and are doing all we can to help me through this. I'm being good and eating the special diet food. It's tough getting older. Please keep me in your purr prayers. I thank you.

Have a Nice Vacation!
What fun to stay at Mammouth Cave National Park! We did that years ago. It is very beautiful and peaceful there and you'll love the cave tours. Did you have a good weekend? We did. It's so hot here that we just go in and out of AC! Mom's going to Michigan again for a few weeks, next Thursday. Our catsitter and Dad will be here to care for us. Have a wonderful week -

Long time now meow, we are sorry, our Mommy has been very bad, she says she has been very busy with work and stuff but we don't buy it, she needs to do what we tell her!!!! She tells us she must do her work so we can do nothing and eat Fancy Feast, Kitty Treats, and sleep all day...well, I guess in that case, we won't complain!!!! We hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend, ours was nice, Mommy spent lots of time with us and spoiled us rotten since she has been out of town the week before for work, so she made up for it!!! I (Bombay) and Vegas even went out in the backyard with Mom and got to lay under the tree in the shade and watch the birds it was very nice!!!!! The fireworks were not too bad here, just one night and the other it rained so we got off easy!!! We know it has been very hot around the country so we hope you are keeping cool, we had a nice day today, it is cloudy and rainy and only in the 6o's all the windows are open tonight and we are loving this, gotta enjoy before we are back into the 90's soon!!!!! We hope you all have a nice weekend and hope to hear from you all soon!!! The temperature was high 87 & low was about 48 this morning, now it's 86 feels like 85 with humidity 30% & wind is 20 MPH. Wednesday's suppose to be Sunny & 95.

This is Mom-Lillian and I want to Thank RBB Blackie & Mousie & Momma Carol 42912; RBB Duckie & Dad Mike 51627 for the wonderful write up on my SIX BOY 10139; to Catpaign Crew 46883 who sent out the catpaign message to all and Boo Kitty & Momma Jane 154855 for the beautiful frames for SIX'S 10139 pictures. ((I never change the profile pictures once I have the one I want on my babies who have went to forever sleep, but I do add them to there pictures at the bottom of their page.))
Thank You for making him COTD again and he also received Cat Rescue of the Day on July 3, 2010.

As you know, SIX 10139 was the joy of my life and he and I had a wonderful life as mom and son. I love sharing our story with all of you as well. It was 4 years ago today at 5:30 PM when he went to forever sleep. He was the only one who would cuddle with me on the couch for hours and hours. The one picture at the bottom of his page is when he went missing for 2 weeks.

Thank you all for coming by on July 2nd to give him a vote and your sweet comments and compliments. I love reading what you have written and I did read them all. I'm sorry for not responding back, but things have been not so good here since March and have kept me busy. I will respond to your Congratulations in time. Thank you for your prayers and thoughts, for the goodies and gifts but most of all, I thank you for your friendships.

CARLY 11000 on DC: Mom decided to let Carly eat her Pedigree Lamb with Rice wet food and mixed a little of her Black Gold dry food in it. She did eat it up again. She is pretty much back to her ole self and happy. It's goood to see her perky!!!! Thank you for your prayers for Carly.

Good Morning Yukki,
Sounds like your pawrents and family are on vacation. My Mom has never been to Graceland although she is a fan of Elvis. She would love to go on a riverboat down the Mississippi. That would be a step back in time!
So Uncle is taking care of you kitties again and doing a good job. The spray bottle seems to work everytime, doesn't it? My Mom has to use that on Saunter and Hawkeye when they bother the girl kitties.
That's neat that you won't hear any of the fireworks where you live. Your pawrents must have mapped out their trip to know they will be in Bowling Green, KY to see fireworks on the 4th.
We are having quite a bit of rain here also. We need it as I am sure you do with the hot temps.
