How We Met

my son brought max from a farm where he had been found in a box in the ditch. if you put max in a box, he would literally chew his way out.max was my best buddy
he was such a lap cat and loved to lay be my head when i slept.
2 years before max died, he had his teeth cleaned and developed a stomach bleed .i spend a lot of days crying and visiting him at the per hospital. one night they called and said that max wouldn't survive without a blood transfusion. so, i agreed to a blood transfusion - 2 1/2 e ofounces - and that turned things around for him. he recovered slowly but finally! on his last day here, he woke up, jumped off the bed, staggered around into the bathroom and just cried. i really think he had had a stroke. the hardest thing i have ever done was to take him to the vet and put him to sleep. the vet was so very kind, though and let me spend as much time as i wanted to. i didn't know i could cry so much! i held him and told him he was my pretty baby. i still miss him every day but i know we will be together one day.

missy - was given to me by my best friend as a christmas present. she lived to age 20.

tiger was given to us and we all grew up together. even with only 3 legs, he was able to climb, jump and run.he was 18 years old when he passed.
