Dear MIA and KOKO and family
Please forgive me, I know it is over a month since you stopped by to say hi and I apologise for not getting back to you but mum changed computers and some things got out of sync. We knew you had stooped by and have only now found your message again. You and your dear mum have been in our thoughts and prayers however and we are so delighted to read that things are improving for mum we hope and pray that she continues to improve.
We had a sad summer as we lost dear grandpa on September 1st he had ben ill a while but only in hospital; the last seven weeks the previous four and a half years he had enjoyed life and been very well even though the doctors had given him three months so those years were a blessing. I had been allowed in the hospital to visit and gave him lots of purrs to the very end but miss him so much now. Then at Christmas grandma was hospitalized with dementia so there has been lots of change in my life but I'm doing well thanks to my amazing vet, every time my heart gives problems he brings me round and now I even love going for weekly checks.
My mum send your mum her best wishes and prayers and I send you and your furry family hugs and purrs How are all the kitties in your house doing.

I'm so happy to hear from you, but very sorry that your sweet Mom has been having problems and had to go to the hospital. We have kept her in our hearts and prayers and continue to do so, dear friends.
We are having very warm weather - In fact, the weatherman said that we're about 3 weeks ahead of the norm for spring, so it looks like we'll have a very early spring, here. It's been in the 60s and 70s for the past couple of weeks, with the exception of 2 days in the 50s. We sure hope we don't get a hard freeze, because that would hurt some of the trees and plants that are already budding. However, we never know about the weather, here in the south. LOL
Mia, we think your fur is so luxurious and beautiful - your coloring is exquisite and enhances your gorgeous eye color - You are definitely a beautiful girl!
How's that Koko? Please tell him I said hi. I'm so happy to get to talk to you again, but I'll close for now.

Now about the christmas tree you bet I love to sit umder it then everyone tells me how cute I like. People think that we cats dont know how beautiful we are.
I do love playing with the ornament...ater al what else sre they for i dont mind opening the odd present i call it quality control.
It is frezing her whe I looked out the window this morning granpas car, it black, looked like it was covered in broken glass!! It was ice and it is so miserable that even the local dog walker who normal pass by in the morning on the way to the park we not around this morning.

you are so good to stop by. Mum and I have not forgotten your mum and keep hoping and praying for her She is a brave lady and you are doubtless a great comfort to her especially facing into this surgery.
Lets keep the hope and prayers going and even though it must be hard on mum as she intended to go back to work in January if this surgery improves things for her in the long term then it will be worth it.
It lovely that you are getting to spend lots of time you your grandpa and mums family. I have lots of time with gradpa and grandma which means that I amd not lonley when mum is at work. I dont do alone very well do you Im just that sort of cat. The tree has not been put up yet but hopefull this weekend. How I love to help with that decoration.

keeping you mum in our prayers and hoping you soon have news back.
Mum say she would like to an ant in your house as she just loves cinnamon. Ants are only in this country in reacent years and about two years ago we arrived home from holidays to find a kitchen full of ants!!!! Grandpa had left a piece of carrot cake behind him.
Theyare very hard to get rid of so let me know if you get them out fo the house.
mum know a reataurant called Silver Fox in a lovely place on the south coast It is famous for generous tasty portions of fresh fish straight off the boats.
We have lots of city foxes and mums cousin has a cat woh only has 3 legs after a car accident. Anyway on day a neighbour phones mums cousin to tell him that his cat Claud was chasing a fox out of the back garden! the fact that he had one leg missing did not stop him and the fox was chased over the wall.

thanks of the cookines and milk Very nice and tasty. yes I like cookies and I also love muffins. Mum has just mad some cranberry muffins Now I love cranberries and cranberry juice. We dont grow any here but get them from the US. The vet says that the juice is good for cats.
I your hope mum got some positive results from her MRI God help her shes a brave lady
I have had a nice week end, gradpa was cooking his Thai green chicken yesterday and I got my usual chicken tax as mum calls it. I sit arround making people feel guilty if I want them to give me my chicken.
Foxes can climb trees and walls At mums work one came to raise her cubs in the grounds for three years in a row and several times she climbed onto a first floor roof to sit in the sun!!! We have a nice name for them in Irish it simply "The Red Dog". Grandpa looked out his window a few nights ago and saw two foxes running under some trees opposite the house. He says in all his years he never saw foxes move so fast.

Its alwasys nice to hear from you or any of your furry family. Yes the sour cream is good thanks for mentioning it Do you melon? I love it and also strawberries. Its strange you noted the reduced number of kids out calling for holloween it was the same here in fact only two groups of little ones called. Hope you gandrpa enjoys the left overs.
That pot roast sounds great and my grandpa say his mouth is watering just thinking about it.
Iwas back at the vets for a check up yesterday and he was so pleased with me. He says that without the scans and my history it would be hard to guess how near I came to rainbow bridge last July. I love them all there thay sayed my life and mum says she has no woards good enought to thank them for all they have to to manage my cardiomyopthy since february 2009. Hope you have a vet as kind and caring as mine.
Anyway enough about me, hows your mum comming on tell her we send hugs not only to four legged friends but thouse who are only human, I think humns have their uses.

yes we have squirrles here we love the the REd is native and is smaller than the Grey Canadin which has come here in reacent years. Hi Mia sorry for delay in replying mum had a very busy week at work. We keep sending good wishes to you brave mum keep us update about her.
I do have a heated bed but mumwas scared of getting me a plug in one because when I was little I liked to chew cable and she had to hid them all...just to spoil my fun. I have a microwave heat pad for my bed and it is under a mock sheepskin It stays real lovely and warm.
Drinking from a glass is what I do If its good enough for people it good enoough for me.
I hope you like the coconut milk I also sometimes like a little bit of blue cheese, now mum thinks it odd for a cat but it makes a nice treat.

Sorry there has not been bettter news for you mum we hope that here brain doctor will help. I guess you are a big comfort to her so keep close by her.
Its nice you got some warm weather there its got dark and damp here but I love to relax aon my radiator bed in the warmth.
Your buddy havs some strang tastes. I love turkey and would eat it any time. I also like to drink cranberry juice and eat melon. I have just discovered the joy of thai chciken or rather the coconut milk left in the tin when they make it...pure cat bliss.

Wow thats hot We have been so excited here in Ireland as the last four days have been better than any this last two yearsit been round 75.This is very much a bonus at this time of year so Im enjoying catching the sunbeams. Yes I love to kneed my mum wishes she could get me to do dough for pizza.
That is so sad for your poor mum and we sincerely hope that she gets some positive news from her MRI. It is hard for any one to suffer a stroke but especially at such a youg age. It must be so very scary for her and thank heavens that you have a good dad there to help her. Im sure she benifits from having you and the rest of the furry gang with her. Mum knows hereself that there is great comfort and the feel of freindly fur and the healing influence of pets especially cats is much studied and written about. There have been excellent articles on it in the UK magazin "Your Cat". it lovely mum and I love to read it every month they also have a nice web site "yourcat.co.uk"

Hi again Mia nice to hear from you. Yes I love fish and we have lots of lovely salmon here in Ireland, Somked and otherwise. My cat dad is just carzy for salmon my mum met his mum and she say it is funny to see how much he likes it I think my favourite is a white fish called Hake steamed just for me do you get that fish. We live on the coast so there is no shortage of fish in my home. The pretty kitty two doors down is another who is fish mad. Hi Sweet Mia ♥
I'm dropping by to say hi and that I hope you are all doing well and that your sweet Mom is feeling better and better.
I've been away for a while and I'm still not blogging regularly, but I came on tonight and Mom said I could say hi to you and check on your and your sweet family.

HI Mia
I just check under the covers to make sure ther is no other furry there. Yes Mia has a super home with a wonderfull mumand dad her brother Zebbadie thinks he is king of the universe but everyone just lets him get on with it The dog frebie is another sad rescue so is a loving companion for her. I plan a lazy weekend. As they are cookin Thai tomorrow I will as alwasy demand my chicken tax very tasty it is. Mum is gonin to a friend for lunc on sunday so I will sleep on my radiator bed and demand lots of attention when the get back. You bet I like to go under cover especially to check if there are feet under there! I am not a show cat as mum was scared of leaving me in a pen all day because I was just a kitten but as I got older sher realised I would not have been at all put out by it. I have been on show twice for a few hours at pet expo here but that was Ok besause mum stayed with me and it was very relaxed. after I arrived mum was invited into the cat club by the lovely lady who bred me so as a result I have been on national television foru time to promot cats and the annual show. I love to go in the card and am very relaxed so there is no problem with my going to the studio....I like it but dont tell mum let her think Iam doing her a favour!
As for our poor frien Mia she was rehome aged nine to our friend after she had been tired out havin kittens poor pet. they notice she had recurring eye infections which they had treated but this summer her oor eye had a strange discharge unlike before and it did not respond to treatment so after three day her very good vet sent them on to a specialis who at once said he was concernec and wished to do an mri scan.Sadly this and the follow up pathology showed up the milignant state of the sey. At present she is doing ok and is in a very loving home but some times she bumps into things . They have started tapping on furniture and calling her and she seems to be well able to get arround. The improtant thing is she show no sign of being in pain.
Give the tummy rubs a try they are wonderfull

It is nice to have you for a friend my mums friend has a Balinees also called Mia and the poor pet has just had eye cancer. She is Ok now but has lost an eye. so spare her a thought
