Education: Well, I don't know if this is a stunt, but one time Biscuit jumped from the deck to the kitchen window (wich was CLOSED) and (hit her head) fell down about 18 feet to the cement!

My favorite tricks and treats are: Sit, up, around, lay, paw, come, stand, up here, down, jump, go, shake, and Whisker Lickins, Friskies, Pounce, Fancy Feast, Queen Sheba.
Where I hang out: My bed, the kitty-bed in the garage, and the cat tree.
My favorite grubs: Wet catfood & treats [some mise too]
My pet peeves: Being brushed and srayed with detangler and Flea Spray
Zephyr, my mom's new kitten (Biscuit's STARTING to like her more...)
What I love about my owners: "She pets me, loves me, and FEEDS me!"
My cat hobbies: Puff up my pillow, eat, and sleep on my bed and the cat tree.
Pet motto: "Get as many treats as posible, and eat them as fast as posible, so no one can steal them."

How We Met
I got Fluffy at Lil' Loven' Pets and didn't spay her so she would have kittens. And soon she did. Biscuit was the first born. She was only plain white, and then Willow, Sapphie and Bandit were born. Mom claimed Biscuit, my sister claimed Sapphie, and I claimed Willow. Mom had a cat already, so Daddy got Biscuit, I got Willow, and my sister got Sapphie and Bandit. Then, the terrible Christmas day, Willow died. [12/25/2009] Daddy gave me Biscuit that day. And now Biscuit lives happily in the house. (Later Fluffy died too)

Emmeline Goulden was born in 1858. She married Richard, an attorney, in 1879 to Richard. He shared her convictions about women's rights. He drafted the bill giving married women absolute control over their property and earnings, a bill, which became law in 1882.
She was a striking, charismatic woman and an inspiring speaker. "Perhaps it is difficult to rouse women, they are long-suffering and patient, but now that we are roused, we will never be quiet again." In June 1918 British women over age 30 won the right to vote. On July 2, 1928, just three weeks after her death, a law was passed allowing all women over the age of 21 to vote. Her 3 daughters benefited from her steadfast campaign for social justice.

**End of WWI in 1918: A day for Reflection**
In 1918, at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, hostilities between the Western Allies and Germany ceased, effectively ending what was until then the bloodiest conflict in human history.
The phrase “at the 11th hour” is biblical (Matthew 20:6 — “And about the eleventh hour) and it is understood to mean “at the very last possible minute.”
After the war, a park was created at the site called the Clairiere de L’Armistice (the Clearing of the Armistice). A concrete pavilion was built to house the rail car, and a statue of Foch was erected along with a plaque that read: “Here on the eleventh of November 1918 succumbed the criminal pride of the German empire ... vanquished by the free peoples which it tried to enslave.”

Scientists based in Punta Arena, Chile are in their third field campaign of the largest six-year airborne survey of Earth’s polar ice ever flown. The mission is geared to produce unparalleled 3D views of Arctic and Antarctic ice sheet, ice shelves and sea ice.
Instruments onboard the DC-8, a flying laboratory, include a suite of radars. Its precision topography maps with a laser than scans 360 degrees 20 times per second, while firing 3,000 laser pulses per second. The Digital Mapping System, a nadir-view camera, gathered high-definition close-ups of an enormous and unstable split.
The Western Antarctica's Pine Island Glacier is one of the largest and fastest-moving glaciers in Antarctica. On the flight perpendicular to the crack, the McCORDS radar also measured its depth and the thickness of the ice shelf in that region. The crack, formed between the end of September and early October, is fairly dramatic. When the iceberg breaks free, it will cover about 340 square miles (larger than NY City or the size of Berlin) of surface area. Radar measurements suggested the ice shelf in the region of the rift is about 1,640 feet thick, with only about 160 feet of that floating above water and the rest submerged. With the crack widening every day, the iceberg will form when it breaks away. This is expected to take place at the end of the year or in early 2012.
The ice shelf thins, the grounding line retreats and the speed of the glacier increases. The ice sheets of Greenland and Antarctica are melting at an accelerating pace, and may soon become the biggest contributor and source of uncertainty to global sea level rise projections. If current rates of ice loss were to continue, sea level could rise by as much as three feet or more before the end of this century. The last big cyclical carving event occurred in 2001.
Satellites, ICESAT (Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite), ended in February 2010, and ICESAT 2, will launch in 2016, is the benchmark Earth Observing System mission intends to continue the assessment of polar ice changes and their relationship with climate.

Jupiter rules the night in November 2011 as it shines and beams, like a lighthouse, in the east moving westward and upward from evening dusk until morning dawn.
Meteors in annual showers originate as grains of dust or ice in space, left behind by comets. After midnight, the part of Earth you’re standing on has turned so that you face head on into the incoming stream of space debris. So you typically see more meteors after midnight – unless the moon happens to rise in the middle of the night. Although the moon may wash out some Leonid meteors, it acts as your guide to the meteor shower radiant and the red planet Mars.
The annual Leonid meteor shower ramps up a few additional streaks of light and gets underway in November 6. With the Moon currently waxing toward Full, the best views will come before dawn tomorrow and Tuesday in the hour or two after the Moon sets. Astronomers expect the shower to peak the night of November 17/18.

King Kato is cat of the month. He's at the royal castle for the month of June. In July, the next cat of the month will move in...and that would be Easy Goin. We try to pounce both the King or Queen of the month daily and also the candidate who is preparing for the royal job. King Kato is a Bengal, like our Michah--you should pounce over and meet him.
