Karli,Capri's owner here. I'm sure most of you have all heard that I lost my loyal faithful friend,Capri yesterday. I am trying to do stuff to take my mind off. No luck. I read last night till 2:00 trying to keep my mind from wandering. I couldn't sleep. I clutche the locket with the fur and white whisker close to my heart,where her memory will always be.This morning,wearing the mad owl socks that she got me for Christmas,(we used to say she looked like a mad owl)and went to the garage. We are going to keep her and bury her once the ice lets up. Just seeing the used to be fast place cat sleeping there,sad,yet peaceful. She died of old age,and nothing else. Peacefully on the end of the bed. There's no other way I would want her to die. Just standing next to her cold, limp body in the garage,stroking her fur....*breaks down* I have to stop.

MY Heart will never heal...
Hello all. I hope you all got my message about giving to the charity I picked. Mom is still hurting badly. Still sleeping with the locket with Capri's picture my fur,and just yesterday,she found a silver heart.Never seen it before. I'll bet Capri dropped it right out of heaven. This is a hard time,and I know most of you know what it's like to mourn the loss of a dead pet or person. I am glad we can all try and comfort each other in these hard times.
