#5695 - Thinking of You, Razz-Ma-Tazz
and thinking of all the Sunshine Gang this morning as we begin a new year.
SLEEPY, TIRED KITTIES
What a fun filled celebration in the CC Castle last night as newly crowned Queen Linguini received her loyal subjects, and our most gracious Queen Boo Kitty said thank you to all of her admirers! There was so much food, such lively music, fun games, and the voices of laughing kitties from all over the CC community! What an Event! Thank you Queen Linguini and Queen Boo Kitty!
Mom says she will not forget to say Thank You in her prayers that our home did not suffer tornado damage on New Year's Eve. The house across the street and three down has a huge oak tree laid across the roof right in the center. Dad said it looked to him like the house was "totaled". There are shreds of insulation all over our neighborhood. We have a huge white canvas tarp decorating the top of one of our trees. Dad will take his fishing pole and see if he can snag it, MOL!

5687 ~VOTE COTD 11/30 ~ OLE GRAY 20257~
The temperature was high 46 & low was 28 this morning, now it's 43 feels like 39 with humidity 82% & wind is 7 MPH. Tuesday's suppose to be Rain/Wind & 47.
~♥~ IN MEMORY OF JIM CHANDLER ~♥~
We wanted to do a SPECIAL Catpaign for OLE GRAY 20257 in the Memory & Honor of his human dad, Jim. We called him "Uncle Jim". So many friends to Jim and his beloved babies OLE GRAY 20257; Missy, Taz and Zippy would agree this would be an honor to vote OLE GRAY 20257 for his COTD on 11/30/2010 and receive his Badge on December 1st ~~ ONE year ago in the passing of Jim.
Jim loved so many things like his "Frosty Beverage" or always going to the "Cabinet"; the "Sunshine Gang" had wonderful and funny stories to tell most everyday then "Uncle Jim" decided to call them "As The Rancho Turns".
When Uncle Jim passed away on 12/01/2009, he left behind his four kitties. Mom had contacted his daughter and asked her if she was going to keep them together with her and she told mom she would, but that didn't happen. So many of us CC friends were very upset about that. Mom tried to get an update on all the kitties but Jim's friend hasn't returned mom's email.
OLE GRAY 20257 was a kitty who wondered in and stayed in the garage for some time before deciding to venture into the Rancho home then he decided he liked it so well he stayed. One of OLE GRAY'S 20257 favorite sleeping place was in the middle of the pillows on Uncle Jim's bed.
Please stop by on Tuesday~11/30 to give him a vote. Keep in mind, there will be no return visits by this family.

SASSEE 10605 ~ Mom got her to see Dr. Nancy at 8:45 this morning. Sassee did purr*fect with her ride over there & back home with no fussing nor meowing. She got a Conenia & a Depo-Medrol injection. I'm also to apply Pyoben Gel daily. Dr. Nancy says mom's doing great with cleaning the acne. Mom asked if it could be stress related & Dr. Nancy said yes.

Thank You for all the prayers for my Daddy. He had all but one test yesterday, but we DID find out there are no blood clots. We can deal with everything else, but that was our big worry because they are so dangerous! He had x-rays on his feet, but of course they won't tell you anything, so we wait for the doctor to call. Life is all about patience and waiting, it seems! Have you ever thought about that? Hmmmmmmm~ Thank you for your continued support and voting for my COTM. You are all so wonderful especially when most of the time it seems Momma just can't respond to everyone because of what is happening here at home. Daddy takes a lot of care right now since he can't walk good and of course he is blind as well, so that's not helping. Momma has the dogs to care for plus us Kitties, so she is run ragged right now. Daddy has to go back to the hospital next week for an Echocardiogram to make sure his heart is OK through all this. Please continue praying. As I said before, PRAYER IS THE GREATEST GIFT YOU CAN GIVE SOMEONE! Please continue praying for all our sick kitties and pawrents, and PLEASE VOTE COTD TODAY FOR MAMACAT #171441. Here is the recipe of the Day! Remember, if your kitty isn't used to eating fruit, only give a teaspoonful, so not to upset the tummy.
MEOWSLI
1 tablespoon oats
1/2 banana, mashed
2 tablespoon plain yogurt
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 apple, chopped
2 ounces berries in season
Mix oats and bananas, blending well. Add yogurt, orange juice and apple immediately to prevent browning. Mash berries and add to mixture. Serve in small portions (1 tablespoon per cat); too much fruit can cause diarrhea in a digestive system that is not used to it.

Hi, Taz...
We have a backlog even WE don't believe! To save time, this is a Happy Birthday yesterday/Merry Christmas today/Happy New Year next week blog. It should also be a sympathy about Jim blog, but Dad says he'll do that one himself when he can bring himself to face the issue, has time enough to properly deliberate, and directs his thoughts through O.G.'s page. So, in primarily sticking to the importance of yesterday and today, Taz, we'd like to say Happy this and Merry that, but under the circumstances, we think that would be a tough request. The best we can do right now is "Enjoy whatever you can during this very special time."
Taz, you have become a very pretty young kitty, and Jim is proud of you, we know. Of course, he loves you all, and we know you must feel a little abandoned with his absence. You can bet that he'd want to be with you to celebrate all the birthdays and holidays. It will take a while to adjust to the new situation, but you will. The temperature was high 33 & low was 30 this morning, now it's 32 feels like 27 with humidity 96% & wind is 5 MPH. Friday is suppose to be Mostly Sunny & 44.
Another day barely above freezing and stayed foggy all day as well.
Again we all just napped most of the day even mom took about a 15 minute nap. The outside kitties also stayed in their beds most of the day to stay warm.

Mom came out last night to feed us about 11:30 PM and when she went out to feed Kittzi 160203, Sylvr 160205, Baby 13286, Sausha 22506 & Teakee 25544; mom was checking to see if Kittzi and Sylvr were asleep in their bed she seen they were under the grape vines instead so mom shined the light in their bed to see why they were not sleeping in it. Nothing wrong there!!! They came to eat then they were xploring the back yard. They were xploring the patio again and mom watched from the back door. They left so mom came back outside to see where they were as they were not far. Mom told them they can sleep in one of the patio beds if they wanted. Mom thinks they're looking for a place closer to the patio now so they can be closer to the house. Mom finally went in to go to sleep. Mom has no idea where they ended up to sleep.
