My pet peeves: other cat's(she only recently getting used to our other cat Duchess.
What I love about my owners: I love it when they scratch me on my back, and I show my gratitude by licking their face over and over.
My cat hobbies: Sunbathe on our windowsill, curl up on our laps, eat, eat, eat!

How We Met
When our 15 year old Nef passed away, my fiancee Sara and I decided to get more cats and looked on the shelter website at some of the cats they had. My heart went out to Kira, knowing that she'd might spend the rest of her life there, but because of her age and still grieving over Nef, we were instead going to adopt a six year old(Duchess) and a 5 month old(Sadie). While waiting for Sara to come I wanted to spend some time with Kira. She was such a sweet cat and made my heart sink even more knowing Id have to part with her. It turned out that Sadie had feline leukemia and would possibly spread it to Duchess so we opted to save Kira from a life in captivity. Im so happy we have her, the little skinny wretch we saw at the shelter is now a happy,healthy, and sometimes sassy cat.

Kira was put down on 7/13/11 after a sudden illness. She was 17. We miss you Funny Face!Come visit me, Duchess & Kira.
