Thank you so much for the COTD (Cat of the Day) award. I am so excited for the opportunity to get to know so many new kitty friends and for all my new friends to get to know me.

Since it is very cold here in Pa. I will lay by my human as she attempts to visit as many of you as possible while she pets me all day long. My treat will be human grade tuna fish as that is my favorite meal of all. Question: Why does tuna fish have soy oil in it all of a sudden? I'm suppose to be on no wheat, no corn, no soy no grain diet like a carnivore should be and here the real human tuna fish has soy in it.., Why?
We may or may not take our daily short stroll outside but if we do I will be in my stroller and my feet will not even touch the cold snow. I'm getting use to this whole indoor cats thing, although I will be happy to get to my real home and visit all of my favorite outside trees. My indoor cat tree needs some repairs and so maybe that will get done as well since I am Cat of the Day.Come visit me, Vicki, Tina, Izy & Magellan.

"9" ~*~OMG, WHAT A SURPRISE!!!~*~
The temperature was high 74 & low was 56 this morning, now it's 72 with humidity 33% & wind is 10 MPH. Sunday's suppose to be Partly Cloudy & 70.
About 9:30 PM 8/26/2010 mom was re-reading my profile and noticed that I was due for another COTD but she thought that I already got one in April. That wasn't the case at all and noticed that I had lots of votes. She was really hoping I wasn't gonna get it but sure enough when Girl Power Crew signed in Friday morning 8/27 that there was my picture in the COTD Window.
I would like to Thank You all who came to visit and voted for me to be your Surprise COTD today. It really was a SURPRISE. Well, I guess it really was worth having a bath this past Monday as I wouldn't want to be embarrassed of being all dirty and smelly as Queen of the Day!!! MOL!!! Mom is really proud of me for being such a purr*fect little girl and for coming to be part of the family.
Thank you for coming today with such wonderful gifts, goodies, treats and most of all you helping me to Celebrate my 3rd COTD.

Jezebel and the Kittens, continued...
Then one day when Mom was outside with Jezzy, a little boy came walking along and said “that’s my cat” and started chasing her. Of course, Jezebel ran off and Mom admonished the little boy that running frightened the cat, so he should approach her calmly if he wanted to catch her. A few minutes later the boy’s mother also appeared and started to tell Mom about Jezebel. Little Jezzy had been abandoned on a rural road near where the lady’s boyfriend lived, and the lady felt sorry for her. She brought her home and wanted to keep her inside, but the kids—there were several of them—kept letting Jezzy out. It was pretty obvious to Mom that Jezzy wasn’t getting the love or attention or even the food she needed to thrive at her “home”, but there wasn’t too much Mom could do about it except what she had been doing all along. So she continued to feed and spend time with the little kitty, every once in awhile talking to her “owner” when she came to retrieve “her” cat.
