Third class passengers underwent medical and legal inspections at Ellis Island. On NOVEMBER 12, 1954, Ellis Island closed after processing more than 20 million immigrants. In 1965, Lyndon Johnson removed quotas through the Hart-Cellar Act. hey yoda, actually, we had a guinea pig, which is the animal you see in the cage. Trouble has tried to catch the neighbor's rabbit when they let it run around their yard, loose. luckily, i saw her stalking the rabbit from the window (as it was a young rabbit, it would have been cat food for sure) and went running out there, grabbed troub, and explained to the (slightly clueless) pet owners that they had to watch their pets better, this rabbit almost got eaten by my cat! They werent all that pleased with the both of us, unfortunately. So, do u have any funny stories like that?
