Finally making it around to what hopefully is catch-up day, so we can get back to regular correspondence. Grammy being her stubborn self took like what seemed forever to get her settled after her fall. Then Little Leo started not acting his normal self and Dad knew something was wrong. He made an emergency appointment on the 29th, and after an agonizing decision, my little buddy went to go see Angel Tig. They really didn't like each other so I hope the other Angels are helping them get along. Dad says he was glad it was raining as he walked home from the Dr. that way no one could see the tears pouring profusely down his face. Hurricane Sandy was bearing down good as he got home. The lights started to flicker so he quickly signed on here to post of Leo's passing. As he was reading some email....yep....there it went..........all basic services down for 4 days. I know how lucky we are to only be without when there are so many still without, but could never ever have imagined that we would have been hit so hard here near Cleveland. We we're very lucky to only have minor damage......lots of clean up.....he he....lucky Dad....Dad's church was flooded and had to be closed. We also found out that the shelter where Dad goes also got hit hard. Dad being Dad organized a church clean up crew. Got the shelter secure and then they made their way to church. How very lucky and grateful that one of the church voluteers has a son who works at a local tv station. After two days of running a story on the shelter on every newscast. Calls we're pouring in and adoptions made. All but nine of the cats found homes. They could not stay while the remodel was to begin so each of the volunteers to one of the kitties home to foster until the shelter can reopen.....Unfortunately the need is there and the shelter has to reopen....and I know you already guessed but I'll tell you anyway.....Dad brought one home. Her name is Robin. Sweet black and gray shorthair. Dad calls her Pumkinhead. The girls don't seem to like her much. Sahara and Savanah are downright mean to her. I think she's super. We play and cuddle together all the time. After all that drama Dad spent three days going to buy wood and paint and whatever else he needed to build a memorial wall. Grammy says it's a bookshelf...ha ha....But Since both of the Angels' ashes are home Dad had to put them somewhere he felt was appropriate. Have put pictures of my precious little buddy up on what is now called "Daddy's Angels" page. Will let you know when Robin's picture appears as well as Dad's memorial wall. Thanks for reading my extremely long letter. I know I was babbling, but had so much to say, 'cause it's been so long since I've seen you. Love and Whisker Kisses on this cold snowy day.

I went shopping with mom yesterday. We went to a few stores. I love to be with mom. I don't mind riding in a car as long as I'm with mom.

We are sooo behind on CC that we may never get caught up. Lots of May birthdays here and then Daddy had one on May 30th. One June 1st Mom went on her cruise to the Bahamas and had a wonderful time, now she is resting up from vacation.

Glad those pills are all gone and hope you kitties are doing better. Mom too, Ear pain is a huge pain and it hurts so much.

How did your visit go at the vet? I hope all is well and we will be thinking of you.

We have been up to our ears in houseguests this month.
First it was grandam and mom's sister & hubby. This weekend it was Dad's two sisters from the Atlanta area, then next weekend Grandma and Mom's sis will return. We kittys don't much care for all these strange people in our space and are happy that things will be back to normal for this week anyway.

Mom is gonna get one of those shirts when all the commotion dies down. Congrats on getting yours.

Yes, We do still have Mr. Purrkins and Ringo Star. Mom was doing lots of interviews and placed one of the kittens before her dad got ill, she left in July to help take care of him and did not come back till mid Oct. She had no internet there so she could not answer any inquiries on them. When she got home they were 7 months old and big. Daddy said that they were big boys now and loved to be together, and that we were keeping them. So they are still with us. Mom was happy to hear that he was gonna let them stay. Mr. Purrkins turned 1 year old on March 14th and weighs 12 pounds now. He is a big old baby who stands on his hind legs and begs to be carried around like a baby. he loves his feather toy, just like Cyndee does. He fetches it like a dog when Mom throws it and brings it and drops it at her feet so she will play. He is a wonderful and very intelligent addition to our family. Ringo is not as smart and does not fetch but is lovable and sweet till Mom brushes him, then he growls like a dog but never offers to bite. He is fascinated by running water in the sink and athtub and after getting wet many times by the running water, he has now learned how to drink from the faucet like a pro. He still gets all wet because he loves to splash around in the water.

How was your weekend? Our weather was purrrfect - nice, sunny & not too hot. I am feeling lots better from that nasty UTI. I still have 5 more days to take that yucky Clavamox. Yesterday our shelter BARL (Brookhaven Animal Rescue League) had a rummage sale. They raised over $2000 to help care for the homeless kitties & doggies at the shelter. Mommy volunteered at the sale. She painted kids’ faces to look like a kitty.

Mom is lazy today. She has been working n the yard. We all watched from the window to make sure she was safe.

Wow, are we having a gorgeous day here. Sunshine & mid 60's. We have been wearing the door out going in & out to the screened in porch. Mom is loving it too and she is hoping for a repeat tomorrow as it is her birthday. Molly Marissa & I will try to bake her a cat cake and hold the catnip sprinkles.

Did your Mom find the kitty tree on Ebay? You gotta post a picture or email us one. Try putting some catnip on the tree to see if it will help. Mom got one for our 16 year old angels when they were around 8 years old and neither f them ever got on it. It is best to start the katz out young. How old is Tipper?

Sounds like a turkey overload going oon at your house. Hope you like turkey....

We had a quite thanksgiving this year, unlike yours. I hope you got lots of photos for the memory book.

Queen Lola's wedding was so nice. I felt like I was in a fairy tale.

I was good, dressed like a lady & read the nice poem for the happy couple.

Later, I changed back into my leathers & took a ride into the sunset with a tom called Dustin.

Mom will email you some pics of the kittens one day this week. They are not so little anymore. Mr Purrkins is 9.5 lbs at 8 months old.

Mom went out of town to visit with Grandma. Grandma is doing good but is really lonely since Grandpa went to heaven. She is staying in the mountains to pack and then will move here, closer to us so we can watch over her. She lives 2 hours away right now. Mom got back today, we missed her very much and are glad to have her back to catch up on our meow mails.

Don't I look diferent with my extensions in my hair. I had to sing a Sweedish song in front of the Queen & the kingdom. I wanted to run away & hide. My furmate Abigail Shyla told me to stick with yodeling instead of trying to sing MOL

The pretty pic of me in the beautiful dress was a gift from Queen Lola. I am one of her ladies in waiting at the castle this month. Mom wasted most of the day trying to make it big enough to see. None of it worked. Grrrrrrrrrrr..... CC sure is acting up lately. Everytime we mess with the pics it is a major hassle.

Stopped by the cat pow page & Mr. Purrkins who we thought was Kat Middleton sure has grown. He's going on 7 months weighs 9.5 lbs and is such a cuddle bug. How fast they grow. He is Mom Margo's boy.

I find it extremely hard to ride the Harley in a dress but it might come in handy to parachute from my room in the castle to cause some mischief. Hope the Queen does not have my head on a platter before the month is over.

How was your weekend? We enjoyed a nice one. Nana & Mommy went to a scrapbooking crop at a local church. It was a fundraiser for the church’s youth group. Sissy, Casper Todd and I decided to stay home. I’m not too good with glue or scissors! Tee hee hee. They scrapbook our photos, of course. I think they are currently working on my 9th book, Sissy’s 10th & Casper Todd’s 11th books. At least that keeps Nana and Mommy busy and out of trouble!!!

Carve out some time for fun
Nathan Fillion is the perfect actor to portray Rick Castle. His personality shines during interviews. He is sort of quirky, a fun nerd who loves video games. His smile lights the room and he makes me laugh. The tension between Detective Beckett and Castle adds drama. She has the upper hand because she knows how he feels. It will be worth the wait when they finally get together. Football delayed this week's episode so I started watching House until Castle started. Look forward to next Monday to see if Kate gets jealous when he kisses another woman. Stay tuned.

"Pick your own" pumpkin fresh from the fields during "Fall-o-Ween" season. Choose among all the colored bright orange with no bruises, soft spots, scars or signs of mold. I am glad you found your scissors. It is good that the remote was not baked in the turkey. I am afraid there would have been 2 casualties. Sorry for being gone for a little bit. This month has been quite busy for mom. It's been the same for me too, i mean having to cause trouble somewhere and take naps too is alot of hard work! Mol. We finally had a chance to come and say hi to our friends before this storm hits us, we may lose power today because of the winds and rain from Irene. So we'll get back on as soon as we can. I hope your doing furtastic and stay safe everyone thats also getting this storm. I know i won't be trying to get out of the house today! Mol. Purrs and kitty kisses. Love, Sylvester

Hey Coco & all,
It is hot, hot here as well. Tomorrow through Fri is going to be even hotter. We won't even spend time outside on the screened in porch.

This Sun. 7/24 is our Cinderella Foo Foo's 2nd birthday. We are celebrating with a big party at her mall shops & amusements page # 192479 at 7 pm. No love blogging is required so if you can't come by at 7pm just stop by anytime. Sure hope to see you there.

CC is acting up for us and we keep getting that dreaded Meow page when doing our visits.

LOST: PART EIGHT
I walked through the trees for a while and was beginning to get a little hungry and thirsty. I could smell water so I followed my nose and soon came upon a small stream. After getting a drink of water I saw some small fish swimming around and wondered how I could get them out of there without getting my paws wet. I just hate getting my paws wet!!! It dawned on me that the only way was to try and scoop them out with my paw and would just have to suffer with wet paws for a little bit. I reached into the stream and gave scooping the fish out my best effort but the water slowed my paw speed down and the fish went to deeper water. Eventually I gave this up as a bad idea and sat down to dry my paws. I spotted a little frog that hopped away from the shore and I pounced on it. Well it wasn’t my idea of a good dinner but it would just have to do so I ate it. YUK frogs taste nasty. Feeling less than satisfied I decided to see if I could catch a mouse or a bird
