How We Met
Her mum (featured in the 3. row 1. photo,her name is Branka brought here, when she was a kitten. She got ill, I had to catch her and nurse back to health. Since then she is here, she is not a lapcat but gets along with other cats fine and enjoys life indoors and in enclosure.She has two half brothers ( 3.row 2. photo,Dodi&Gus)- ,her mother also brought them here along with their sister (photo on Kimsel`s page).

Dreary day. Weather fore cast for the upcoming week looks like rain every day. Makes it hard for Mom to get out. It was sunny here too. But cold again today. Mom had errands to run & had to take the bus. She was gone six hours and had, of course, turned the portable heater off while she was gone. Getting a late start again today. Mom saw the surgeon this morning. He is pleased with her progress & will see her again in six weeks. She will continue her PT. it's
mother's day here today and the usual work day for janet seeing it's time and a half added to her paycheck every sunday she does work which is most as well as some of the big holidays too. she was blogging as early as 2:54 am as she says 3am is her usual time to start on a work day and later when she's got time after her early morning walk and if she's not down on all 4's weeding in the garden which might happen after she's home from work starting today through tuesday before we get to warm in the afternoons again mid to later this week. had on/off again showers more off again since thursday, although friday turned out some sunshine and dry! sandy,ana, haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

That's good that you got rain and Mum was able to fill her watering can. Hope you got enough rain. Same here. Rainy day. And the grass gets higher! Seems like the landlord has forgotten he said he would mow it. With all the rain this week it keeps getting higher & higher. Mom has never seen it so high. lucky for us
that power outage only lasted till just after janet left for work and did go out one more time for a half hour, then has been on since that time. temps for the daytime have been comfortable and not above the lower 80s with bright sunshine. got rain finally as it's badly needed and janet's hoping on getting some vegetable, and herb plants while mommy wants some flower plants. sandy,ana, haley,angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

I'm sure Mum must be very careful in conserving water to have enough for drinking & cooking & bathing. That must be a real drag. I guess she is used to it. People take for granted that there will always be water when they turn on the faucet. Nothing much new here. Typical day. Sunny out. Mom was late getting the garbage out to the alley so looks like the truck had already passed through. That's what happens when she stays in bed too long & doesn't get up when I tell her it's time. Mom's back was very hurty this morning so she decided to try the lidoderm patches her doctor ordered for her. They seems to be helping. PT again tomorrow so Mom has to be ready for more pain. Sorry to hear you have drought problems. One concern when you are dependent on well water. Hope you get enough rain to raise the water level so you don't have to worry about having enough rain water. We hope you don't have any droughts either! That is the worst! It was a beautiful day. Mom walked to the closest grocery store today. We were getting low on our Meow Mix select cat food. It is getting hot already? Bummer. No mild temps huh? Goes from too cold to too hot. We get that here too often. No far it is still on the cold side at night. Days are starting to get nice. Mom had the wire removed from her knee yesterday. She is very sore today. Her knee is stiff & swollen and it still feels like she is wearing the steel brace. And her knee burns! So it has gotten hot & you are able to spend more time in the enclosure. That is nice. I bet you all appreciate that. Yesterday was warmer but the apt is still retaining the cold as it is a brick building. After it hits the 80's for a couple weeks the building warms up. No sun today. It was cloudy & windy. Weather fore cast said showers. None yet. Mom is waiting to put out the garbage & newspapers until tomorrow morning. Wet newspapers get very heavy. Leaving a vote. Peace & love. Great that you are getting nice weather & can go out in the enclosure. Still not warm enough here for open windows. It is still mid April. Hopefully by May it will be warm enough for sitting in front of open windows and enjoying the wind blowing through our fur! Sounds great! Nippy again. Mom has the portable heater running in the living room and Anderson is in his cat bed on the table & I am in the recliner next to Mom. She is at the computer watching her Blackhawks play the Coyotes. Glad Mum is starting to feel better. We hope she is completely recovered very soon. Forecast for the week is temps in the 50's & 60's and occasional rain. Nice things are finally going to warm up. we're hoping
that your blogger is now feeling much better as our weather has been delightful with 50s and 60s the past few weeks and some 30s and 40s mixed in with it too a bit each week. we've melted all the snow 2 weeks back and had a great easter sunday too as janet did her long walk and got in sunrise service outback of her church, saw the sunrise on her way home and did a breakfast buffet cookout, as well as lunch which was fairly easy warming things up. she did her famous easter baskets as we all got one see my pictures. rain at the end of this week after 3 weeks without anything as it's so dry now. sandy, ana, haley, angels (70s today and 80 tomorrow!)Come visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

So very sorry to hear that your sweet Mum has been ill! We are sending prayers and get well wishes for her. We hope she feels much better very soon. Sorry we missed yesterday. Mom had no computer access. She went to CT with her brother & sister-in-law for their Uncle's funeral so was at her brother's Friday & saturday nights. Drove up & back 8 hours, 400 miles in one day. most of us here in the northern part of the usa

Hope you get nothing but beautiful weather from now on! It's nice & sunny out and is in the mid 50's! Beautiful day! Makes Mom think of working in the garden which of course is something she wiill have to forget this year. She has tended a large 18' by 25' garden for the past 21 years. But this year the ground will just have to rest. No way she can get out and do all that turning over the ground, planting and picking veggies. Bummer! She always enjoys her garden so much. we had
