How We Met
While driving down the road I noticed a little grey lump on the side of the road that resembled a kitten. I went around the block and checked it out and found it was a kitten and he was alive. His eyes wouldnt open and he wasnt breathing to well so I took him to my vet. He was infested with fleas and though he was six weeks old weighed less than half a pound. I left him there and came back after work to check on him. they had cleaned the crust off his eyes and nose given him IV fluids and force fed him some baby food. They put some front line on him gave me antibiotics and mdicine for his eyes and wished me luck. For the next two weeks I took him to work with me and put medicine in his eyes every two hours and gave him kitten formula with a syringe and put kitten food in his mouth. He gained one pound but his inner eye lids were stuck to his eyes and he still couldnt see. He could find his little litter box and would come to my voice or if I snapped my fingers. I took him to an eye specialist and they said that he had herpies in his eyes and that they didnt know if his eyes would ever work without surgery. They gave me another medicine to try. after two more weeks one eye was half way open and the other one was about a quarter open. I was wiggle my finger in front of him and he grabbed it. He could see. A girl at work fell in love with him and wanted a kitten so with a heavy heart I gave him to her thinking he would get more love and attention being an only cat than in my furry filled house. I missed him terribly and after a week went to ask her for him back but before I could she showed me pictures of him playing and I just couldnt do it. About a month later she walked in to work with him and said she was splitting up with her boyfreind and moving back in with her parents. Her father is allergic to cats and wanted to know if I wanted him back. He is now home to stay and is best buddies with two of my other kitties that are close to his age. He is very loving and smothers me with kitty kisses. His eyes are almost normal now he weighs nine pounds and he loves his furry filled home and me.

Mama slept so late today I thought I would have to walk on her to wake her up! when she was at Babushka's she got no sleep for over 24 hours. Wonder what Baba was doing? Mama said she will give your mom's number to auntie as soon as she hears from her today. She doesn't want to wake her up! Poor human is really feeling bad. Babushka has stopped being dizzy as suddenly as she began, so mama is home more and somewhat happier. We have been thinking a lot about your family. And praying. I'm working on writing up the wedding, and I hear you're doing your own vows. When you get a chance, can you e-mail them to my Mom? You'll both still get to say them, but that way I'll have them too, just in case someone gets bounced off CC or has their power go out or their phone ring or something (see Murphy's Law).
I have it written up with two rings if that's okay, and if you have any special music you'd like played as everyone comes in and goes out, let me know. I think you've got our e-mail with all the hockey contacts, if you do you can't miss who it belongs to. If you don't have it, I'll get Mom to remedy that.

Oh yes, Papa Loki will be excited to be groomsman also! He is such a good papa. I will use your vows, if it's okay. Mama is not really up to composing anything. I thought maybe the girls can war deep green velvet and if you toms want you can incorporate that into your accessories.
