You don't get anything for votes, but you have to have 100 and do lots of blogging and voting for other kitties in order to run for COTD. But you know your Account Page when you first sign on? You get points for blogging and voting. Then with a certain number of points you can go to the cat store and they have cat things you can redeem your points for. There is a box on your profile page called "My Cat's Stats". It tells you how many cats have visited your page and how many have voted for you. There's a little votey button at the top of your page that says "vote". And you can vote for yourself every day. Vroom, Vrooommmm,
Eleven motorcycles come thundering down the street. 10 are Harleys and the other is a 500 CC Katasaki, all have yellow ribbons on the handlebars in honor of our 12th member Doodlebug who is still unable to find her way home.
The pull into the driveway of Stache, get off their bikes and take off their helmets. Zoe Monique, Cyndee, Kuzi, Kiska, Vika, Snowy, Thundie, Mallow, Q. Lola, Ammie and Dasher go to Stache's front door. Mallow rings the doorbell. When the door is answered they all burst into song.

Happy Holidays!
It is so wonderful to see your names in our inboxes. Thank you so much for all your care and concern.
We are going to have to take a couple weeks off and not visit CC. It pains us to do so because we've developed some wonderful friendships, but our mom just needs a break. She's been ill off and on lately and has a lot of chronic problems too. Her arthritis in particular is flaring terribly - the worst it's ever been. So the doc has told her to rest, and we agree and told her to do so weeks ago. She's so stubborn that she didn't listen to us, and now she's in loads of pain. She has a bunch of book reviews due anyway, so rest and reading is the ticket.
No doubt we'll bop in anyway, no matter that we say we won't. We want to wish absolutely every single one of you a wonderful holiday, in whatever way you choose to celebrate it. We can't wait for Santa to fill our stockings. We all asked for catnip sacks, so we really are hoping we all get them!

Why We've Been Missing
Hi everyone! You would't believe what happened to us! Somehow we just got booted off the system. Mom went to log us on one day, and she couldn't get on. Even worse, she couldn't find a single one of our pages. I have to give her credit, she didn't panic. (We did.) She contacted the webmaster in control of our community, and she found our pages, but she couldn't find any reason why they would have been deleted or why we were kicked off the system.
So, she fixed it! All our pages are back. And now we can get on to find out what mischief y'all have been up to while we were gone.
Actually, mom has to limit our time here, because she figured out her job/work load for the next few months. She's a book reviewer (if you ever want to read her reviews, they're at http://lesasbookcritiques. blogspot.com) She only posts once or twice a month. But ... she has promised to read 24 books in the next couple of months!!! It's very do-able if she keeps her mind to it. That means 4-5 hours a day of reading. She loves it, but doesn't usually do so much at once. So I share all that so you understand that we'll try to get on without her, but I doubt we'll do too well :)
We've missed you cats. I don't know how much made it onto our pages, but we'll find out!

Monday mews & fun with the NICE crew
It’s still raining at NICE headquarters. It’s supposed to turn to snow later tonight & the temps are going to remain cold for most, if not all, of the rest of the week. There are Christmas boxes scattered everywhere in the living room right now. I’ve found several interesting things inside of them…including Zaboo…MOL! He got into one & jumped at me as soon as my paws touched the flaps. He can be just as ornery as me at times! Patches & I have been playing hide & seek behind them too. It’s been great fun so far but am looking forward to mom decorating the tree later because she puts beautiful jingle bells on it that are fun to swat at….MOL! Sunday mews from Trixie & NICE crew
It’s a soggy Sunday here at the NICE homestead but that doesn’t stop the calico cyclone from spinning happily around CC…MOL! I’m wound up because I caught a mouse in the house last night…woohoo! What fun it was to play with a live, squeaky toy instead of a toy one for once. Mom & dad laughed at me because I’d pick him up in my mouth very carefully so I could drop him in the next area that I wanted him to run. Only problem was that I picked dad’s housecoat pocket for my final drop zone. I thought it would be pawsome to let it squirm around inside for a while but dad said it was time for the mouse to go after that…which was a real bummer! He tossed it outside & Joseph grabbed it so I had to watch my prize be devoured by another cat. Geesh…all that hard work for nothing! Talk about unfair! Just wait dad…I’ll catch another one but next time I won’t let you see where I plop it…MOL! Oh well…time to move on & play something else so I’ll give you today’s trivia & the mews then pounce off to do our daily voting.

Hi Stache
To vote on DC all you need to do is go to it & use your same log in. Your log in for CC works for all of the animal channels such as HC,SAC, etc. You can vote but not leave a blog on DC unless you have a dog profile but you can blog on the others. Weird but that's how they've got it set up. Our dogs are on there: Angel Spike #95721 & Scout #96761 so maybe we'll see you over there sometime.

Woohoo..catgrats on getting yesterday's riddle! You're one smart kitty!
It’s the day before Thanksgiving & the NICE crew will be very busy the next few days like so many others will be. I’ll continue to post the daily news on the CMR page but not sure how many purrsonal visits I’ll be making after today. Dad & the kids are home until next Monday & mom likes to spend time with them when she can so will be limiting ours & the dog’s blogging times.
