My favorite tricks and treats are: Jelly will "groom" anything that holds still, and eats with his paws. He also begs like a dog for food and his favorite treat is cream cheese "stolen" from Mom's bagel

How We Met
My Mom found me on a rescue group's web site. When the trapper found me I was infested with fleas and had part of my tail missing. I can't talk, so I can't tell anyone what happened. I stayed with a foster Mom for a while with Peanut Butter until my forever Mom saw me on the site. I am safe now.

VOTE WINDY POINT ANGELS # 237234 COTD 4/5 As many
As many of you know, 17 year old Minnie D Purrl crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday 4/2. Minnie was a member of a wonderful family of cats known as the Windy Point Gang.
We’re choosing to copy Dad Mike’s exact words that he used to tell us she had crossed--
“She was losing her battle with Hyperthyroidism and her quality of life had decreased dramatically over the last five days. This afternoon Minnie was assisted by our vet, Dr Madsen and myself on her journey. She was 17 years old when she passed.
It is particularly sad for me because Minnie had given me a litter of seven Easter Kitties when she was only 9 months old. I always celebrated Mother's Day with her on Easter. (Sigh...) This year we celebrated with some baby food that I held for her since she was too weak to stand and eat.
Minnie leaves behind her boyfriend Tiger Mann, who is the last of the original Windy Pointers...and of course, her sad Dad.”
Minnie is now a member of the Windy Point Angels #237234, those members of the Windy Point Gang who are now Angels at the Rainbow Bridge. Boy,saw in Steve's blog about peanut butter and jelly,and it did not make me want a sandwich,but to come visit my fur friend ...YOU! How are you doing buddy? I have missed you a lot,but still visit Mimi and love her bunches! I live in a cat enclosure now with four of my brothers,as we developed poor house habits-according to mom! It is really very nice out here,but can get cold,even with the infared light. Good morning! Great to hear from you! I know your Mom is very busy. Hope the flea market raised alot of money. Hope all of you kitties are doing as well as possible. I remember there are some feeding issues? Yesterday the landlord had a guy cut down two tall trees by the kitchen window. He had told Mom the guy couldn't do it until December because she was considering taking the day off so we would not be too scared by the loud noise. So she was quite surprised coming home and seeing those two trees mostly gone. He left stumps about 3-4' high. We seemed okay so Mom wasn't too concerned. Nothing she could do then. Very loud! So very sorry to hear Mom has trouble walking and I'm sure her back does hurt sitting in a car for so long. That is a very long day, working, driving and caring for so many kitties, esp with extra needs. I'm sure you all provide lots of purr therapy for her and show her how much you love her. I was looking at your photos and they are great! You two boys are the best looking guys!oh, that furless kitty is my nephew, and that is my human sister. Mom needs to put some recent photos up because he is so much older now( 4 months old!)When they came to visit at mom's, Tony (our 24 lb all black, panther-looking kitty), was staring at him so intensely, mom's daughter had to move to the other sofa!!! He is so gentle actually.

Poor Mom! That is a very long commute every day to & from work! And so many kitties & fosters to care for. Mom doesn't get much time to relax at all. My Mom took a sick day this morning as there was something under the sink scratching to get out at 5 AM. Dean was sniffing around. The scratching went on for over 2 1/2 hours. It's an old house. Something must have come up from downstairs. Mom put a big box in front of the sink so it couldn't push open the door & called the landlord. Not sure what it is but it doesn't belong there! Mom didn't want it running through the apt & hiding somewhere so she didn't want to open the door. It must have gone down stairs because the scratching did stop but she didn't want to be the one to check it out! Still waiting for the landlord. Great way to start the day. Now we are getting lots of rain & thunder. They said possible tornadoes & quarter size hail too! Yike. Leaving a vote. Peace & love. Have a purrfect evening. Kitty Kisses. Gee, your Mom is really busy - all that commutin plus taking care of the fosters. Special needs fosters take extra time and care also. She must be exhausted at the end of the day.
How are you doing? Your Mom still has to hand-feed you twice a day?

You're very welcome for the visit on your birthday sweet kitty & we're glad you had a great day of celebrating!
They're predicting strong storms for us again later today but when mom checked the radar a few minutes ago the appeared to be dissipating. That's not saying they won't reform but right now we've got cloudy skies & a temp of 82 with a 'real feel' of 89.
The outside kitties are all hanging around the front of the house today. Mom walked out to feed them breakfast & found all 4 kittens playing in her flowerbed. She put food in the front porch dishes & picked up loitering kittens Fluffinella & Pixie before filling up their dish beside the barn. They got a treat of some Fancy Feast today so the girls were very happy & Bright Eyes wasn't too upset when mom picked him up again today either. Scamper continues to evade capture but his distance has shortened to watch what's going on. He refused to come to the dish until mom had backed up & watches her the entire time he eats in case mom tries a quick grab...MOL!
All of the inside crew are doing great! Zaboo & Patches are napping at the moment but I've been playing with little sis...or at least I was until she tickled my back feet & tummy. I had no choice but to kick her with all 4 of my feet so she'd better be happy that I rarely put out my claws to battle with a human...MOL! Next on my list is exploring under the couch because I think Sammie pup put something under there last night. Probably one of her rags that she pretends to bury but I've got to make sure she didn't grab one of the toys I had in the living room yesterday. Well got to go because the dark recess of the couch is calling me to investigate. Have a pawtastic day sweet furiends!

Good morning! Great to hear from you! Glad you & PB are doing well. Sorry you need to be hand feed. We miss hear from you kitties. You were one of the first families we met on CC! Last night Mom heard scratching noises and thought Dean was scratching at the screen door. She went into the kitchen and he was just sitting there looking out. Mom flipped on the light and two feet away was an oppossom! Freaked Mom out! She closed the door and windows! She doesn't know if they jump or climb but she wasn't taking any chances. You're very welcome for all the birthday wishes and goodies. You know, we have a furbrother who is FIV+ and he was adopted from my new Mom's mother, when she had passed away. Just before he was adopted, he had really stinky breath and our Mom took him to the vet who gave him antibiotics. The infection would go away, but come right back. After Mom adopted him (Tom) and his sister, Duchess, he was diagnosed with stomatitis, too! After almost a year of battling it, Mom finally told the vet to pull all his teeth. (A suggestion from Queen Gracie's Mom.) We have an old country vet and he was afraid of pulling them, cuz they were in there really tight and he was thinking he might end up cracking Tom's jaw. Well, Mom just told him to do what he could, cuz Tom couldn't go on that way! Well, we asked for prayers from all our CC furiends and Mom got a call that afternoon saying that Tom was doing fine and was now toothless! It was the very best thing that could have been done for him. Right now, he is healthy and eats anything that's not nailed down. You know what his favorite treat is? GREENIES! He eats dry food, treats, Greenies and anything else he can get in his mouth...MOL. Oh, he still eats his canned food, too! He's about 8 years old, now! He never seemed to miss his teeth. He was chowing down on Temptation when he came home from the vetspital. So, we all hope you do well and live a long and happy, toothless life! You are a very handsome kitty!
