2/5/13 Wow! First Official Tuesday! +23 & snow!
Good Morning dear friends! Hard to believe my first Tuesday as King and I have been on the thrown for 5 days! Sure glad for that beautiful silken purple pillow I was given after my coronation--- highly appreciated! Remember we have an open Castle policy---- come for brunch and stay as long as you like. Plenty of room and food. Steve--- we found a while truckload of cocoa, with mini marshmallows even. The kitchen staff put an order in for another to come next week and also restocked your and Zeus's TomCave.

Business taken care of, everyone asked us to continue our stories, so we certainly will. Thought we would start start off with a couple more Pasha tales. The one for today is about Pasha and mom's G'meow. Now Gmeow wasn't a catlover, but she did have a relationship with Pasha and he with her. Pasha loved Gmeow and would do anything for her. He always sat with her during breakfast and while mom was busy doing other things, like getting ready for work, she would hear Gmeow say, "Now you're not getting anymore!" So if Gmeow didn't like cats, why was she always conversing with Pasha and not giving him anymore of things? Mom finally caught Gmeow giving him the last of her Cherrios and milk. She asked Gmeow,"If you don't care for cats, why are you giving him that?" Gmeow--- "So he will go away." As we said, he always had breakfast with Gmeow!

Pasha was very intelligent. One night he woke mom out of a sound sleep with a sharp bite to her nose! Ouch! Pasha! Why--- he ran in the direction of Gmeow's room. He came back to make sure mom was up and coming with him. Then mom heard Gmeow calling--- she had fallen on the floor. Mom quickly checked. Gmeow actually was ok, but scared. She probably wasn't fully awake when she tried to get up. Nothing was broke and she went back to bed. Had it not been for Pasha, however, she might have been on the floor all night, because she was scared she had broke something and wouldn't move without help. It was cold that night and there could have been more serious consequences. Mom called the doctor the next day, but Gmeow was fine and he told mom just to make sure she stayed away from the stairs at night. Of course, Gmeow still didn't believe Pasha had got mom up, but mom knew the truth and that is what counted. Pasha was a very smart cat!

The day has arrived that I turn ➌!!

I feel so very happy that I climbed mommy's inside tree...MOL!

Oopsy...guess it doesn't support a full-grown kitty like me so I meowed...TIMBER & watched my siblings scramble out of the way...MOL! Whew...at least only a little bit of the dirt flew out of the pot but I did get that "you know better" look from mom!
Like all loving parents my mom is indulging my whims today...within reason of course...MOL! All CC kitties are invited to come over to help me celebrate! Patches has whipped up a yummy triple layer catnip cake with cream cheese icing. Zaboo has graciously donated several cans of tuna for the big event. Fluffinella is dragging out all of her toys for the kits to play with (including me...MOL). Angels Cloudy & Sherman have sprinkled everything with angel dust & decorated everything in pink (mine & mom's favorite colors) but the sweetest surprise of the day is the pawmade pinata that looks just like Fluffinella made by Joseph & the outside crew. I know I'm ready to take a few whacks at it...MOL!
Let's get this pawty started sweet furiends but I do ask that instead of a gift for me that you donate to your local rescue group or shelter so other kitties have a chance to have the good life like I do.
And now I'm off to chase Fluffernut to amewse myself on this happy day.

Wazzup?? We are back online. Mom's laptop has a corrupted harddrive, she caught a virus and tey are trying to save all of moms pics/documents folders, but mom will need a new harddrive and a new battery for it.

Mom got a new desktop with Windows 7 on it, she couldn't afford Windows 8 right now, kinda costly. But on the bright side, mom knows Windows 7 and does not need to learn Windows 8 right now.

We will be stuck in the computer room on a desk, but at least we can be here with all our friends, which is more important then worrying about where we sit to be here...MOL.

It's good to be back with all our friends. Thanks for being patient with us while we were gone.

It's cold outside, dropping to 7* tonight and 19* tomorrow, we will have 1-2" of snow tomorrow into Caturday and next week it is supposed to warm up to the 30's and 40's...a HEATWAVE.

It's a wonderful life
Philip Van Doren Stern (1900-1984) began a short story, The Greatest Gift", in 1939. He was inspired by a dream, and reminiscent of the 1843 Charles Dickens' Christmas Carol. Stern shared 200 printed copies in 1943 with friends as a year-end cards after numerous publisher rejections.
Luckily, the pamphlet came to the attention of a RKO movie producer who purchased the rights. Frank Capra's production company saw the movie potential. He paid $10,000 for the rights in 1945. Stern's story was adapted into the most loved and memorable American family film, "It's a Wonderful Life" in 1946. Director Capra's inventiveness, humor and affection for human beings keep it glowing with life and excitement.
On Xmas eve, George Bailey's guardian angel shows him all the lives he touched and how different life in his community would be had he never been born. Although George repeatedly sacrifices his dream to travel the world, he realizes "No man is a failure who has friends."

you remind janet of two things molly, her first and only kitty who she called furry rear who's name was poppy and is our first angel who lived till 28, and mommy's first kitty mollie-maui-molokai, who she called moki and janet called maitai lived to be 18 and our second angel. was a blustery day and colder more like fall, but warming up to the mid to upper 60s today and near or lower 70s tomorrow with plenty of sunshine before clouds in the afternoon and rain again tomorrow night/friday. got our sleepover and sports days tonight and tomorrow, so you're all invited if you'd like to come as it all ends the week of halloween with another big sleepover, sports days and harvest festival. sandy, ana, haley, angels

Hi Molly,
We have been very bored and missing our CC friends during our 10 days of record heat & humidity and no power.

Our state and a few others were hit by a Derecho. Mom had never heard of this type of storm before, it was strange and we had huge winds that came in before the storm and trees and powerlines went down everywhere. Stores had no ice for 3 days and gas stations who ran on generators had long lines and were out of gas by the end of the day. Many people had severe property damages and trees and powerlines are still a mess blocking many roads and highways. As of today their are still 7,000 people without power. Mom has never experienced anything like this before now...

We kitties were very lethargic and hugging the ceramic tile floor to stay cool. Mom kept our water bowls full of ice when she could find it.. At night we were fortunate that we have a big screened in porch to sleep on. We did have a mishap with Zachary Pierre. He somehow managed to break a small bone in his paw. He will be fine and recover but it was a job finiding vet help for him due to everyone being closed due to the power outages.

We have power but it still keeps coming and going. The last outage was yesterday and it only went out for a few hours that time. Mom was getting ready to run that rug monster as you would not believe the amount of cat hair we left everywhere. I didn't have to hear that monster but Mom yelled some strange words that made me blush.. MOL

We were amazed to log on and see dog's coming on CC with new profiles.. We too will be leaving the CC if these changes take place. We will keep up with friends on FB and email and although we have loved CC for 3+ years we will take our business elsewhere.

667 ~*~TIL WE MEET AGAIN~*~
EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
The temperature was high 62 & low was 51 this morning, now it's 59 with humidity 69% & wind is 8 MPH NW. Sunday's suppose to be Showers & High 65.

♥ Mom got all of Toebee's and Thundyr's things gathered and brought into the back room then took the carriers to the cattery. Mom left them on the floor with the doors opened. Later, mom looked out dad's bedroom window to see that Thundyr was lying in one of the carriers. Guess he was all set for when his momma Judy came!!!! Tehehehe!!!! Judy came about 4:30pm to get her two babies, mom said goodbye to them with two moms giving each other a hug. What's so nice is mom will still get to see them, just not as often.

♥ Mom took us inside kitties in the front yard for about 20 minutes in between rain storms then came back inside, got our Greenie treats and fed.

♥ Mom and dad worked in the front yard a little today. Mom also mowed the front yard.

Eleven motorcycles come thundering down the street. 10 are Harleys and the other is a 500 CC Katasaki, all have yellow ribbons on the handlebars in honor of our 12th member Doodlebug who is still unable to find her way home.

The pull into the driveway of one of Cyndee's best friends Molly, get off their bikes and take off their helmets. Zoe Monique, Cyndee, Kuzi, Kiska, Vika, Talley, Thundie, Mallow, Q. Lola, Ammie and Dasher go to Molly's front door. Mallow rings the doorbell. When the door is answered they all burst into song.

EUGENE, OREGON WEATHER REPORT:
This morning the temperature is 51 with the humidity @ 89% & the wind is 6 MPH SSW. Today's suppose to be T-Storms & High 62.

CC IS MOVING REALLY SLOW SO WE WILL TRY TO VISIT COTM/COTD & GO FROM THERE! WE WERE HOPING TO VISIT FURRIENDS!

It was raining yesterday so I was asleep in the comfy bed that was on a half rounded wicker chair on the patio table, Aunt Samantha 15442 on the small cat condo tree, my Sylvester 11567 in the bottom cubby of the big cat condo tree, TaumKat in the top of the big cat condo tree while TC was on the middle deck of it, Sissee 11531 in the round black plastic bed on the patio table, Suezee 11528 in a comfy bed on the patio couch and Velvet 10732 in her comfy bed next to her log house bed on the patio and we were all asleep when the back door opened to see not only mom, but also Toebee's & Thundyr's momma Judy so most of us split from our nice dry sleeping places into the ugly wet. Surprisingly that Sylvester tried to hide in his bed til mom said hi to him then so did Judy then he split, too. You see, we love and trust mom, but we don't know Judy so therefore we do not trust her no matter how many times mom tells us that she's mice and won't hurt us! TaumKat stayed sleeping in his spot and never woke up til mom and Judy was headed back in, but he still stayed there, but cauciously! Judy said hi and talked to him, too!

Mom received a little desk top book called
"Kitty Cat Chit Chat" and we will like to try to share things from it daily:

Stunt cats have strutted their stuff on the big screen for years. Twelve cats were used for the first Harry Potter movie. Rumor has it each cat got their own room, whatever food they wanted and fur-lined baskets!
