Time for another day of shopping. We are going to Seaport Village. It’s so nice to look at the shops and the ocean. They have a merry-go-round there. I love merry-go-round. We can eat at the Jolly Rancher. Mom says they have good food.
Dear God, I’ve always lived in the shelter, and I have everything I need. But many of the other cats here have names, and I don’t.

I'm thrilled that your Mom did check out okay after her fall. It sounds like the blood draw went okay yesterday in the morning and afternoon.
Does your Mom have any idea when she will start back to work part-time? Maybe next week - Monday? Boy, you guys are really going to miss her! You better be good while she is gone so she doesn't have any "messes" to clean up when she gets home...teehee
Mom can't get over how sweet I am being to her. Last night, when she was doing blogs in bed, I jumped up next to her by the headboard rather than lying by her legs.

I'm thrilled that your Mom's surgery was okay after her fall. I'm sure she was worried! Thank goodness your Mom went to the hospital to have everything checked out.
Was the nurse able to draw blood today from your Mom? When will your Mom find out she can return to work? I know you and your fursibs aren't in any rush for her to go back to work!
Guess what, the past two nights I have been sticking to Mom like glue in bed. I even let her pet me and I didn't scratch or bite her.

Yes very exciting about Whiskers & Talley! Today was a much nicer day! The sun actually came out! Mom & Uncle took their mother out for a belated Mother's day lunch. They went to the Red lobster! Oh goodness, that sounds like a nasty fall your Mom took on the stairs. Was her surgery site okay? Did your Mom sprain any muscles or joints in the fall? I bet your Mom was shook up!
A nurse is going to try to obtain some bloodwork on Monday? Will the nurse be coming to the house so your Mom doesn't have to travel? So, your Mom is headed back to work if her bloodwork is good! I'm glad they will be easing her back into work and not making her work full days at first. I bet your Mom will be surprised how tired she will be that first week back. Golly gee, you kitties are going to miss her lots. I know it has been nice for all of you having your Mom home with you the past month or so.
I'm warming up to Mom now. I think I punished her enough the first three or four days she was home...teehee
I should be at the hockey games tomorrow night. Maybe not for the "chat" portion but to watch the games. Mom is going out to dinner at 6:00p

I'm so sorry to hear that your Mom fell down the stairs. How did that happen? Was she on the way to the doctor's or something? Is she alright? Did she do any damage to the gallbladder surgical site?
Sounds like she had a rough day today also - three attempts to do blood work. I bet your Mom's arm is a little bruised right now!
How is your Mom feeling - stronger? Does she feel like she is ready to go back to work already? How soon would she be reporting to work?
I ignored Mom the first four days after she came home but last night I snuggled with her at bedtime. I saw the smile on her face too. I missed her, but I didn't want her to know it...teehee

Beware of flipped over rugs...
I'm giving myself a big paws up because I was the one that caught a mouse this time! I had to growl at my sisters to make sure they left him alone while I played so you can probably imagine the pleading looks on their faces as they were sidelined...MOL! When I was finished with my game I made sure to put the playing piece on mom's rug & flip it over so he was covered & she'd have fun finding her 'gift'. When mom headed in the direction that I'd hidden her special surprise I was right on her heels meowing. She saw the rug, flipped it back & I meowed "purrprise" & rubbed against her legs. Hmmm...I started thinking my lovely gift was not very appreciated because I heard her say "that's gross Patchy" before she called dad to remove it. She did pick me up & tell me that I was a good girl as dad tossed him outside so at least I know my prowess is appreciated, even if the hidden present was not...MOL! My sisters have been jealous so they're on rodent patrol when they're awake plus have been shadowing me everywhere I go. Dream on kitties because the Patchy mouse patrol is now in charge...MOL!

Well there's not much else happening yet on this cool, cloudy morning so will paw you a vote & a triple berry muffin so I can head toward a good napping spot. Have a purrfect weekend & I'll meow at you again next week.

That would be great if Mummy could go back to work next week part-time. we continue to keep her in our prayers. Hope she improves quickly! Got pretty warm today! Think it got up to 80*. But there was still a nice breeze and it was a pleasant day. Mom walked to the Post Office and drug store. She had her last PT session today. She has to arrange for out-patient therapy now. Hi Misty the Mystifying
What a nice day we had today. 80* and sunny and breezy, the wind was not as bad as yesterday, but mom hates it, she wants some calm days.

Mom had a panic attack cause she thought she lost her wallet, but she finally found it and calmed herself down...she grabbed Kelsee as she was closer to her and she cried her eyes out for almost an hour...poor mom.

Now she is watching a few season finales of some of her shows...reruns will start soon and then Mom won't watch TV much...maybe some baseball games & news.

We had a fight with the neighbors kitty...he keeps trying to invade our territory and come into our house and eat our food, and that is not right...mom doesn't have a job and can't afford to feed him, especially when his mom has a job and does feed him.

Mom took the water hose out again today and watered the pretty flowers and we all ran in the house, we do not like the water hose at all...mom would never get us wet, but we hate it anyway.

Our mom is a klutz too...she fell off of a ladder yesterday and today she has bruises and a bad backache, but she is alright. I swear we have to watch these humans all the time.

I'm sorry I missed pouncing by to visit you yesterday sweet kitties. Mom has been busy getting things ready for human bro's 13th BD today so didn't get to CC or DC at all. Bad mom...MOL! Anyway, she's almost done with the only thing left to do being frost the cake & add sprinkles & candles. Tonight is also sis' final school band concert so things have been hopping around here. The end of school is always one of mom's busiest times & dad is generally exhausted when he comes home because the teachers, principal, etc. are wanting end of the year stuff taken care of. Pretty soon it will all be over & then the calmer days of summer break will be upon us, followed by big sis' wedding the first day of August. Mom says this year has flown since she's been so busy but I have to tell you that I think it's kept her out of mischief...MOL!

Well got to run so mom can run the sweeper monster & relax a few minutes before she thinks of something else to do, such as weeding the flowers again before it rains.

We had a lovely day today, so we went outside again. The breeze was blowing through my thick fur and cooling me off...I was rolling on the sidewalk, too...that is fun.

It is clouding up now, rain is coming later. But we are still playing outside and watching the birds. Mom has her birds outside on the back porch and you should hear them, they are chirping away with all the wild birds out there.

Tomorrow mom has to go to her moms Memorial Service, it will be a sad weekend for moms family as this will be their 1st MD without their mom, but we will make our mom feel loved anyway. We will not allow her to be sad.

Don't feel the need to apologize, your moms health is more important and we are happy to hear she is not gonna fall down more stairs. Just make sure sure mom stays on her paws!!!

I hope the gall bladder removal will take care of moms problems and she will be feeling better soon. It was great to see you at hockey. Mom got cat bites on Friday and they got infected so she had to go get shots & anti-biotics. Baby Rusty is doing great and growing like a weed. Mom hasnt had time to let us do visits since she is busy raising Rusty and taking care of Foster Kitty BJ. Hopefully BJ will be able to get to his home in PA soon. It has been warm here the last week but it is cooler today. Lets go catch a movie and have dinner.

We have had a lot of nice days so far...2 days in the 80's and lots of sunny skies and we get to be outside all day long, which is pretty pawsome for us.

Mom BBQ'd today and she ate dinner outside, she sure enjoyed that, she said the 1st BBQ of the season is the best. Kels and Jesse helped her eat her pork chopper.

Tomorrow mom has to go downtown so she said we have to stay in the house cause she isn't too sure how long she will be and she doesn't want us to get out if one of the neighbors leaves the gate open or something.

Actually Mom is not missing work so much. She hears regularly from two co-workers. She does miss some of her co-workers and some of the residents but not all the BS from the administration! No sun today. Looks cloudy & windy. Weather fore cast said showers later. Mom is waiting to put out the garbage & newspapers until tomorrow morning. Wet newspapers get very heavy. Thank you for all your votes. I am so excited. We are almost done with the month. I am one special little kitty.
Today is my Sister Callie’s first year Crossing Anniversary. She was so special. I knew when mom first rescued me I had to get Callie’s approval. I knew she was the boss. MOL
Now that we have talked about CFA Shows and TICA Shows I just don’t know what else to meow about. I am going to another CFA Show but we need to decide which ones. More traveling in the car. MOL In case I didn’t tell you, you can’t wear a collar at the show. Some rescues have a collar on and we let them know they need to take the collar off when they get put in the judges cage. At the CFA shows, we always cheer for all the kitties getting a rosette in the household pet category. We are the noisy bunch. MOL
I think I will leave some Cat Quotations. We are smarter than humans but they just don’t know it. Hehe

How are you and your family today?? Ours is fine. We are having a really nice day today, got up near 60* with a small wind and lots of sunny skies. Mom let us outside and we have been in and out all day.

It is about time that the weather got warm, it's been so cold and rainy lately. Tomorrow will be near 70* and in the 70's on Sunday and into next week. BBQ time...

Mom went for a walk today. She went out to the store and got us some cat litter and she got milk, too. Tomorrow she will go to Kroger and buy us cat food...cheaper there then at a high priced party store.

MEWS: I am engaged. My b/f Elvis proposed to me after our hockey games last week. All the kitties in the arena were cheering for us. No wedding date set yet.

Seniors are in the same ring as us. They go back age and the youngest get shown first and the oldest showed last. We do have 16 yr old kitties that show.

I don’t know about you but I think TICA sounds a little scary to me. I know some of you show in TICA and are use to it. I don’t know if could have judges looking and judging me like a purebred. I think my cuteness does pretty good for me . MOL
How many of you go to TICA shows and how many to CFA shows? Do you have to travel far and do you like the car? Mom is lucky we all don’t mind the car. We even go to stores with mom after we go to the vet. I don’t mind but sometimes I just want to be home. Right now I’m on the couch with mom writing up my blog. MOL
I have a question of the day. How many of you like to travel in a car? My sister Angel Callie loved to ride in a car. She always had to look out the window. I just like to relax and watch mom. So does Smokey and Angel. Angel Sassy didn’t like the car at all.

Penalties: Judges can penalize but not disqualify for unrepaired umbilical hernia, damaged ears or eyes as a result of injury, spots, patches, or sprinkling of incorrect color i.e. color faults other than lockets and belly spots.
Cats that have been declawed shall not be penalized. As you remember, you can’t be shown in the CFA shows if you have been declawed.
Household Pet Color Classification-Each household pet may be present to an Allbreed Judge in order to determine the correct color on each entry, prior to the start of judging, and that classification will hold throughout the entire show.
My color classification is Crème and White. I am medium hair length. I also have a kink at the end of my tail. That would be a disqualification as a pure breed in CFA but I could be shown as a household pet. A judge once told the visitor to the cat show when he was handling me that I had a kink at the end of my tail and it was a disqualification for pure breeds but it’s character for household pets. MOL I wounder what TICA would say about my tail.

As you can tell, CFA is judges choice in finals for household pets and in TICA the household pets are judged by the same rules as purebreds.
I would be judged by color, markings, my fur. HMMM
Disqualifications. Biting three times. Surgically altering a cat for cosmetic purposes, examples are tail docking, prosthetic testicles, ear cropping, abnormalities not breed specific but rather occur in all cats. All or part of the tail missing except when board approved breed, having more or less than five toes on each front foot and four on each back foot unless proved to be a results of injury or as authorized by board approved standard. Polydactyls in any breed authorized approved standard shall be limited to no more than 7 toes on any foot. Undershot or overshot jaws or any malocclusion of the jaws, visible or invisible tail faults are disqualification at the discretion of the judge or as required by the board approved standard. Total blindness, inability to bear or support weight or walk normally, abnormal positioning of legs, feet while standing examples bowed or cow-hocked legs, splaying of the feet, or obvious toeing in or out of the feet. Small size not in keeping with the breed, inability to breathe normally with a closed mouth, abnormalities of the sternum.

Yes Mom gets the wire removed from her knee next Tuesday. Hope Mummy's visit to the chiropractor was beneficial! Did she have a nice visit with Colby? Devils beat the Canadiens tonight! Woo Hoo! Great job! Nothing new here. Mom's back is hurting alot today. First time it has been a big problem since her knee injury. She is used to being stiff when she gets up but is better after moving around some. Hopefully tomorrow it will be better. Leaving a healing vote for your sweet Mummy & keeping her in our prayers. Mom and I are in Hawaii but we don't have "free" WiFi so I am only able to send limited blogs.

I wanted you to know that I am thinking about you and your Mom. I saw where your Mom is home and is feeling better. Did she have her gallbladder removed? I checked my emails and didn't see one from your Mom with your home address. If you decided to send it to me, please send it again?

Hi Misty!
Mom has a sore throat and is clogged up but no fever unless it is a low grade. She mowed Saturday and to so cold while mowing that she and grandmom both agree that is where she got this but it could also be mom's allergies too! If she goes out she is going to tackle the clog with a decongestant. We won't get a spot either in the playoffs that we know of. Let's keep in touch. Love and purrs your friend Trace
