Kitty Finds Redemption Part 10 Blog 72 Here is Part 10 of Kitty Finds Redemption a True Story!! So now the cat had a nice and lovley home and was just back now to a nice and great cat. She didn’t go under the bed and she did go out and be around other cats. Now there was just one question. Will someone get her now? And then suddenly someone came and asked for her. The lady was in the cat room and worked with the cats helped them and took care of them. The cats all loved her but 1. Is it too late ta post an idea for a story?here's mine Cally's Path: 20 parts --------------------------------------------------- ---- Cally was a stray calico cat who one day found a forever home in a small town called meowsburg but what will she do when a huge 88lb dog named moose and 5 ferrets arrive? Will they be her friends, or will Cally need to find a new home? She soon makes friends of the new pets and learns how to talk like them..... But soon she dreams of being a ferret like her best friend Mario a black sable ferret.... what will she do when Mario tells her he has powers which he can use to turn her into a ferret for as long as she wants! How can Cally refuse! She loves being a ferret until she meets the Matriarch of the ferrets Sandstorm,a small ferret with a big attitude! when her daughter Oreo grows up to be a 1 year old cat , Cally realizes how much she loved being a cat and asks Mario if she can go back to being a cat again. from sammy hi tj's stories, i got your note! about the story-so the shelter lets the brother go home without her. she was in a room with her brother and 2 other bonded kitties. the shelter needed the space, they are so full from april to november-so when the bonded pair got adopted together, she was the only one left. so they put her in a small cage in the adoption room. now she had always hid under stuff when she was in the cat room, but with the other kitties walking around no one even noticed her. so now she is in a small cage in the adoption center. it is nearing september when all this happens. she is petrified-she hides under blanket all the time, the only evidence she is not sick is in the morning, food is eaten and there is a gift for volunteers in litterbox. so this one volunteer takes pity on her and takes her out of cage and sits on bench with her every wed., when she is there. she pats and cuddles the kitty, but unlike other kitties she worked with, this kitty just curls up in fear. so after a month or so goes by, the lady starts coming in 2 other days just to take this kitty out and work with her. another month goes by with little progress-except now when she takes the kitty out the kitty doesn't struggle to stay in cage! so the lady says "i want to foster this cat" and the shelter staff are happy! but they warn the lady that the kitty lived under a bed for 5 years, and may never get better. the lady took the kitty home, and kept her in a small room for the first week, with a see-through gate up. when she was home she would put the kitty next to her on the couch, just rubbing her and talking soft. after a week she let the kitty walk around when she was home, but if she moved or got up the kitty would bolt for her safety room. after a few months went by, the kitty was still skittish, but if she was laying on other end of couch and the lady said"i'm just getting up now" softly, and rose slowly, the kitty would just watch her. one night the lady was sleeping in the bedroom, and when she woke up the kitty was on the bed! she left her hand out, and the kitty ran underneath it for rubs and tailtugs! the lady decided she could not let the kitty go back to the shelter, or she would revert back to her former state. so she went in that wed. and said"i am going to keep her"-the shelter staff went crazy, they were so happy for the kitty! the kitty came more and more out of her shell, and though to this day if the lady moves too quick she will startle, but they have worked out a way to exist and be loved by each other and the other cats. the name of the story is "kitty finds redemption" -what do you think? write me back, and i will tell you a secret. love sammy Come visit me, mama ♥ zachary, misty the mystifying-i'm a dj! spunky 161265COTM!, sammy-kara owns my ♥ !!!, quincy ♥ leo! & loki ♥ monica!.	08/24/2010 04:24.29 PM	Report This Comment

Our COTD campaigns are reserved for cats, not pages which are not real cats. At one time we did a few campaigns for these kind of pages and there were complaints so we stopped. Since there are so many cats on CC who do not have badges we believe that we should limit our campaigns to real cats. Thank you. Hey TJ! I was wondering, can anyone submit story ideas? If so, heres mine: 'There once was a cat named Mikey. Mikey hadn't been to a vet for two years, so he was due soon. His human family made him an appointment for the next day. When that day arrived, he was shoved in his now small carrier and put in the car. The 20 minute drive only felt like ten minutes so they were there quickly. It turns out, all the pets and humans were monsters... except for him!!! Mikey was so scared. Right then and there, the adventure began.' Thats not the full story of course, thats just a little preview of the story. Have fun with the contest! -Socks P.S.
