How We Met
Mitzi and trouble were born to a feral cat at my freinds apartment complex under some trash on the patio of an empty apartment. I made a little house out of a storage bin with a hole cut in it for mom to go in and out. When they started cleaning the patio out she moved them under a barbaque on a different patio. We followed her after she ate and found the kittens. We moved them to his patio and put them in the bin and showed her where they were and then covered it with a towel to make her feel safe. She raised the kittens in the bin and allowed us to pick them up and socialize them. When they were six weeks old he kept their sister I brought Trouble and Mitzi home after a stop at the vet to have them tested for the bad diseases. Poor little Trouble had to have his blood drawn for the tests. I could hear him screaming bloody murder and felt so bad for him. They said he started hollering before they even took the needle out of the package. They brought him back out to me and he started purring as soon as they gave him back to me. I didnt see any need to test both of them so Mitzi got a free pass. We waited for a little while and then we were told that all the tests were negative so away we went to their new forever home.The next week I caught their mother and had her fixed and then brought her back to the apartments. She will now allow a few select people to pet her.

We live in Santa Cruz, CA, on the CA Coast 75 miles South of San Francisco. We live just on the edge of the city. Near a big gully that comes down from the Santa Cruz Mountains. Our Mom is our warden, keeps us indoors. We have lots of wildlife, so we are indoor kitties. Mom doesn’t mind the deer, skunks (except for the smell - pee-U!) or ‘possum, doesn't want a raccoon, fox or coyote to snack on us. We tend to agree!
Maggie is all black and her son Yogi is all grey. Tipper is a pretty grey & white Tuxedo Kitty.

ps - Mom once had a cat named "Trouble" names because if he didn't find it, it would find him! He was the terror of neighborhood garbage cans.
