How We Met

I rescued Orange and his two littermates from a 'drug house' literally. They were all in bad shape, all three had ringworm, respiratory infections, worms, ear mites, eye infections etc. Orange was the worst off. He had almost no hair due to the ringworm being so severe! Almost everyone told me it would probably be best to just put him down as his recovery would be so expensive...His two brothers recovered quickly and were able to be adopted out, Orange kept getting sick. It took him almost four months to be completely ringworm free, and then he had to keep going to the vet with severe ear infections, which would jump around from his ears to his throat. He couldn't keep weight on and was very very small for a long time. Eventually he got over all his challenges and today he is a healthy guy although maybe a tad overweight! I never intended to keep him (hence the name Orange) but he decided to keep me and here we are two years later! He loves all other cats, especially his 'brother' Davey Jones. Orange was originally named 'Orange Davey' as he followed Davey Jones around so much he started to think HIS name was Davey! Orange and Davey do everything together and are absolutely hilarious during playtime!
