Your Mom is sure busy. My Mom would never be able to handle it. I was spayed at a low cost S/N clinic. It was called S.N.I.P. that's for Spay and Neuter Immediately if Possible. That was before Mom got me, I was done by a rescue group. Those people do a lot of good for low income folks that can't go to a regular vet.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

So good to hear your mew, I was worried about you. No we haven't had any damage from anything lately, not since Irene, last summer. Mom cut her leg on her metal briefcase Oct.29, she got the stitches, 13 of them taken out yesterday. She has a little infection, but is taking antibiotic.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

That poor cat, deaf and left in a strange place. Imagine it's misery. Possibly when the ears mites are taken care of the hearing will improve. I got my microchip today. I am fine, Mom is a wreck I sang all the way to the vets and back, about 30 miles. I thought she would enjoy it. Glad to hear from you. I wasn't really worried, because I know you are in a pretty safe place. We are good. Did not lose power or TV, although the dish is on the roof and the wind was howling like a banshee. Lost internet Sunday and cell phone, but they were back on Sunday night. Had no flooding. Are your animals OK? You said a tree fell on the shelter. A lot of VA is still dark also and businesses are closed. And there are others churning in the Atlantic.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

What are you doing with all those animals? Mom has tied down the furniture and trash cans and cook up a bunch of meat, so she won't have to cook in the storm. Our generator is on natural gas so we don't need fuel in anything but the Jeep, and she filled it this AM.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

That TNR is great, saves a lot of innocent cats from being homeless. Mom was upset with me. When the Orkin man came I had to get in my carrier. For some strange reason I didn't want to and clawed Mom and acted really bad. Yesterday when I had to go to the vet, Mom said, " if you are going to act like a feral cat, Miss Priss, then I will treat you like one!" She picked me up by my scruff and my hind legs and tail and very unceremoniously dumped me in the carrier. I guess I had better do as Mom says. That is good, that you spay early. Used to be they said 6 months old, but kittens that are well nourished and developed are ready to come into heat much earlier. I hope the lady that wants Chloe turns out to be a good Mom for her.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

things are going alright here. momma had a chance to bottle raise the most ADORABLE kittens and she almost did but she couldnt in the end cuz her sister has allergies. the people said "there will always be more kittens" but not always bottle fed ones!!! fooey. oh well.

You are doing great with the free tickets. How old do kittens have to be before you spay and neuter? My Mom made an appointment with a new vet for me. My old one retired. She met and interviewed him today. Doesn't she think I have enough sense to know if a vet is good or not? He must have thought she was crazy to see him without a pet. Mom is soooo overprotective. Mom's gloves aren't that good. She would get some if she handled ferals regularly like your mom does. Ther was a pair of hawks in my yard this AM. Mom wouldn't let me go out because she said they might eat me. I told her not to worry that they are just big birds and I can take them down. She said, "Not on my watch kitty cat!" Think it would take more than catnip to get these guys and gals in carriers. We did get all but one. He was just too fast. Mom stacked the carriers in the Jeep and surprisingly the cats were very good all the way to the vet. Now we have to go to City Hall and get licenses. Mom is determined to get that last one. If I know Mom she'll do it. She is very determined where cat care is concerned. I've seen her hand move as fast as a snake and grab a feral up by the scruff and into the carrier.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

I still haven't seen any of those cats, but tomorrow I am taking 3 cats in for shots that belong to an elderly disabled neighbor. This should be fun. The cats don't know me and I lent the lady carriers and asked her to get the cats in them. I hope this happens. The cats aren't wild. They are indoor-outdoor, but that doesn't mean they would take to me trying to stuff them in carriers. Wish me luck.Come visit me, Mimi 184008 & J.C..

First of all,I want to say THANK YOU so much for voting for me in the 'Best Hunter' contest,[if you had a chance]! SECOND,I am Soooo sorry it has been a while since we came by. Mom has been having some nasty headaches,but nothing to do with her fall off the ladder trying to get Opie-she has had them since she was a young girl. Mom and dad stayed in town most of the day yesterday,then mom's daughter and G-daughter came out. They swam in the pool and grilled chicken,and mom played with little Ava a lot! They didn't leave until bedtime,so mom was to pooped to blog for us! She fell in bed and passed out! Mom is hoping to have a quite and restful Sunday!
