Hey Gang and parents. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing your story. Seems like the nasty kidney thing gets alot of beautiful kitties. It is such a long progressive way to live. I miss him terribly and cry all the time over Ali, but at least I know he doesnt have to go through what he did during his earth days. It's a lot for kitties to have to deal with as you know with your kittie. Fourteen months is a long time to make it with that nasty disease. Thanks again for saying hello. Have a great weekend. We continue to fill out our many thank yous to everyone for support Angel while she has been ill. She continues to improve but still with not eat/drink. Her feedings and SQ fluids continue. She has more energy. She ate a tiny piece of baked chicken tonight. This is Apple. I’m gathering support from my friends and prospective friends to please vote for me on March 10th for COTD the next day which is my birthday (and also Herman’s b-day). Although March 11 is not exactly our birthdate, the vet assumed that we were born in March. As some of you who have already read the “How We Met” story in my page, we came to our Mom’s life on the day after her beloved cat passed away to cancer. Since the vet assumed that we were born in March, Mom felt that it would be fitting to pick the 11th as our birthday because it was the blackest day of her life when the vet found a tumor on her beloved cat who only lived for 2 months and 5 days. We want to thank you for you concern and prayers when my little buddy crossed the rainbow bridge. It made a very difficult time a little easier to bare. I know Simba is in a better place where he is in no pain having a wonderful time with all the other angel kitties. We also want to thank you for helping by little buddy get his COTD badge on Feb 12, 2008. It was quite unexpected, but greatly appreciated. I heard mama talking on the phone to her brother-in-law and he might be able to come over later today and put new carpet in a room. That sounds like something I would love to help with. I will have to make sure I am right there making sure it's done right! Yesterday mama took one of the kitties she is selling to the vet to have him nuetered. They told her not to let him run. HA! We were so excited to have him home we had races around the house! You could not even tell they did anything to him. He would not go by mama all night though....... You are a cutie! Well, mama checked on Paisley this morning and no kitties yet. She will have to watch her closely tonight! Leo's vet visit went very well, his heart has not gotten any worse so mama is very relieved! So for now, no medicine and he can just do normal cat things. He did purr quite a bit so Dr. Jami had a hard time trying to listen! Then Leo would not leave her alone when she was checking Nila and Monte. He kept rubbing up agains her, then tried climbing onto her shoulder! Dr. Jami said she would take him home - but mama said no. HeHe Monte was a little nervous, but he did very well with his shots. Nila didn't seem to care at all, and she weigh's 3 pounds now! She was the smallest kitty in her litter when she was born. Mama put a few new pictures of Sami's kitties up for all to see. I have been playing with those babies a lot now! They are getting to be so much fun. They think they can catch me - HA - I am soo much faster than they are! We still have a lot of fun.
