Hi Angel Baron!
How was your Christmas? Mine was superb! I got an egg-shaped ball that lets out little treats when I play with it, a zhu zhu pet, and a big cat tree that goes all the way up to the ceiling! I'm still kind of scared of it, tho, so mommy has been putting my food bowl on it to encourage me to use it. There are three different spots to lay down on it, and so far I've only made it as high up as the second spot. But it's nice to be able to scratch my claws on it and climb it to get away from the doggies! We had a white Christmas. We woke up to about a half foot of snow!! It sure was a nice touch. But I remember Christmas morning. I saw all the doggies get a present, and I was getting super excited. My eyes were HUGE! I just knew I had something too, and then mommy gave me my presents to open. (Although I did have to have a little help from her to open them.) Have a fun fun day!!

Hi Angel Baron!
Mommy put a star on the top of that tree she brought in, so I was sure that that was my goal: to get to that star. On Tuesday night, I made it up there and batted it to the side! And I knocked off a few toys from the tree on my way up, so it's like I had some souvenirs! So after I reached the star, I climbed back down so I could play with some of them. There were some balls, snowflakes, and icicles! It was sooo much fun! I batted the ball all the way over to my litter box, and then it reminded me that I needed to go potty. I forgot about it after that. Daddy wasn't too happy with me when he got home on Tuesday. He chased me all over the house! But I still can't figure out what I did wrong. "Daddy, I'm just playing with my tree and all the toys mommy left out for me!" And he told me that it WAS NOT my tree! I couldn't believe it! When mommy got home, she wasn't mad at me at all. So I said to daddy, "Take that!! So it is my tree!" Have a fun fun day!!

Over the weekend, mommy and daddy and uncle went to Wal-Mart, and mommy saw a kitten running around the front. She tried to get it, but had no luck. I'm sure it will find a good home. But then when mommy went to sleep that night, she dreamt that there was a bear behind Wal-Mart eating puppies and kittens! MOL! Crazy mommy. Have a fun fun day!!

Wow, an albino raccoon? That's neat! One time when mommy was little she saw an albino squirrel in the park. She said that it was pretty cool! So on Saturday, mommy woke up and let out the doggies. I wanted to go out too, so she opened the door for me, and it was chilly! And there was white stuff all over the ground, too. I didn't know what that stuff was. I remember seeing it last year thru the windows, but never figured out what it was. So I creep out real slow, not yet touching that stuff. I sat and stared at it for the longest time. I eventually put a paw out into it, and did you know it's all cold and wet? Yuck! Mommy called it snow. I was like, snow thanks!! MOL! So I just went back inside and watched it disappear throughout the day. I got a little bit of outside time yesterday since it warmed back up quite a bit. Mommy brought me home a kitty ragbone! It's like the doggie ragbone, but it has feathers on the ends of it! It's my new profile pic. Mommy won't be able to get on and chat to my furiends for me for the next couple of days. She will be back on either Thursday or Friday. She has to go for some job training out of town. But she will be home at nights. She is just going to be having some long days! She went behind my back and uploaded that video of me not moving in that dog sweater. How dare she!! What was she thinking? It's not up yet, but it's called Suki. Just keep an eye out for it! Hi Angel Baron!
I uploaded another video! This one isn't of me digging holes, though. It's of me playing with daddy's expensive speaker box! Just don't tell him!! I spent my day outside yesterday, and all of the sudden, I saw this HUGE raccoon! He headed straight for the trash and ripped it to pieces while the doggies were barking at him. I wasn't about to go chase him off, he was like, 5 times as big as me! So now daddy and uncle have a mess to clean up... I was playing with a twistie tie from the bread this morning. Those things are so much fun, and all mommy wants to do with them is throw them away! She kept me inside today, and I know it's b/c I didn't do a good job protecting the trash. Oh well! Have a fun fun day!!

It is overcast again and on the cool side out. I spent most of yesterday afternoon on the patio watching the parking lot. It is interesting seeing people in their cars and walking around. I would like to be with them. It is Monday morning and Senior Day so my pawrents went out for breakfast. Afterwards Dad and I went for a walk. He took the chair with him and we stay out for a long time. Now I had some breakfast and I went on the patio until I got cold. Now I am helping to write my blogs. HAPPY NOVEMBER
WOW!! Where has the year gone? I can't believe it is almost turkey time and then time for Santa Paws once again!! GEE!! It will be sad this year without Fannie-Mae-Ferret. She was my buddy and best friend after I came to live here back in 2007. She had already been here for about a year. She unfortuneatly went to the bridge back in June. Mommie has been sad without her too but says she will know when it is time for another ferret. Scroll down below and I think I have a picture of me and Fannie together. Well alot has happened within the month and all since I last blogged. Poppie had to get him some new specs in which is his very first ever. Mommie says it really makes him look "sexy", whatever that means. I just think they make him look more "manly" and Poppie-ish!! Mommie is afraid she might have a light case of Multiple Sclerosis because she has been reading info on the 'net about it and she says she sure do have some of the symptoms and with what else is wrong with her back and all too she wouldn't put it past to have it. She said it would truly help on getting her disability but does not want to have it just for that purpose, but if she has it she has it and nothing can be done to reverse it. *SIGH*. Well, my human sister got her loan and the grading has begun so now it looks as if she will finally have her dream forever home and not have to pay rent no more. And actually got the payments way cheaper because they could not do no life insurance on the loan because it was too much. But she said she was planning on doing something about that some other way and source to get it. She oughta know she is one smart cookie!! Mommie is so proud of her and says she wishes she could get a new trailor as good as the one sis is getting. It is used but just by an elderly couple for about 5 or 6 years and if it passed inspection then you know it was taken very good care of, just minor painting and odds and ends any one can do and repair. 1600 square foot so it is HUGE!!!!!! And still will be close to Mommie and Poppie too, 2 miles out of their city limits in the nearby county and just 28 miles away from here so it is close. Well, hope you all had a nice Trick-orTreat day. It was quiet around here. We have no visitors any more since they started doing a Halloween on the Square thing in town here and nearby counties for all of the little fellers so there was no candy bought up this year. Just a pack of Reeses for my human nephew. He was SUPERMAN this year. LOL!! Mommie got some new Christmas lights at a yard sale liek those big old fashioned bulb kind she said she use to have when she was a little girl. Darn---they will go on the outside so I wont get to look at them other than out the window. Well, that is about all for now peepers. Going to mosey on over and do some more CAT COLLEGE. YAY I finally scored a perfect 100% on the first class Zoology 303!! WHOO-HOO!! Well, until next time this is the KEESTER saying MOEWS and sending PURRS and HEADBONKS to ya!!

Watch Out for Witches & Goblins
It was still dark at 8:00 AM today. It was raining out. Last night I asked Dad to take me when he went walking. He surprise by taking me. We walk around the sidewalk to some chairs. This morning we went out early and I had another walk this morning onto the vacant lat. It has been raining since we return. Not a lot is happening here and all is quiet. Dad finally got the TV antenna working. It is sitting beside the TV now. I like to jump up on that side. We shall see what happens. It is overcast and very windy out. Dad said it was too cold out for a walk now and would wait until later in the day. I am not very happy about it; it is very cold out. The Halloween party was fun. A lot of people were dress up. The best costume was a clown. We had candy, popcorn balls, glazed doughnuts, caramel apples and apple cider. Someone had decorated the room & tables with Halloween designs. It has been long time but my Dad said it was not too cold to try a walk. The tomato plant spent the night inside and Mom picked a ripe tomato. Thanks for your sweet message and I'm happy to know even more about you, too! My sister Angel Lucy, who went to the Rainbow Bridge before I came here, also had stomach cancer. I'm happy you are both happy, healthy and having fun at the Bridge!!

Meows from NICE reporter for the week
Hello & happy Monday. It’s finally my week to blog for the family so you’ll be hearing my purrceptions of how the world is seen through the eyes of Patches…MOL! We woke up to a balmy 63 temp today. It’s very cloudy & breezy but mom has the windows open & I love it! Zaboo is doing fine & is crashed on dad’s favorite blanket this morning. Trixie is being her normal cyclonic self & managed to irk me before first light by pouncing on my head. I couldn’t help it…I hissed & boxed her ears! Not one to be outdone, she tried to box back. That was her first mistake…MOL! Her second one was shoving in while I was drinking some cereal milk from little bro. Another quick ear boxing made her take off to explore & terrorize in other parts of the house. No sign of her lately so hoping she’s napping & not scheming on how to get even with me. That would be a major mistake…for her…MOL!
Some sad mews to pass on today. One of the little kittens that Stormy brought home has crossed the bridge & is now an angel. He was the smallest one & seemed very depressed so mom wonders if he died of a broken heart from missing his real furmom. Mom had tried paying more attention to him, feeding him apart from the others & playing with him, but to no avail. His life with us was apparently not to be. Mom is sad that she wasn’t able to get any pictures of him. She did manage to snap a pic of one of the girls lying across Joseph yesterday though & has put it at the bottom of the outside crew’s page. The little girls seem to be doing well so far though so hoping they continue to thrive.
Mom went on her shopping spree Caturday & did VERY well. Her two minute time limit went fast but she got over $300 worth of meats plus bags of animal food & a few other items. The district manage of the store said he’d send her pics & video of the event so hoping we get it soon so we can share with you. They also sent home the rest of the celebration cake, cans of soda & the winner sign that was on the front of her cart. Amazingly it all fit into her Jeep, although the kids had to hold several things on their laps to be able to shut the back. All in all…a fine haul if I do meow so myself…MOL! Well, better get pouncing so mom can take little sis to pick up her new glasses. Have a purrfect day!

Today I’d like to introduce you to some cats:
Some Famous Cats in Fact and Fiction
CHESHIRE CAT. A cat that could slowly disappear, leaving only its grin behind, as described in Lewis Carroll's novel 'Alice in Wonderland'.
FELIX. One of the first great stars of the animated cartoon and the hero of Pat Sullivan's cartoon strip series "Felix the Cat."
GARFIELD. Striped and bulgy-eyed comic strip cat known for his obnoxious comments, hefty appetite, and lazy lifestyle. Often played nasty tricks on his owner Jon and fellow family pet Odie, the dog.
HODGE. Favorite cat of Dr. Samuel Johnson, who is reputed to have bought fresh oysters personally each day and fed them to his pet.
LUCIFER. A black angora, one of many cats that belonged to Cardinal Richelieu of France.
MEHITABEL. The inscrutable cat that tells of her former life as Cleopatra in Don Marquis' novel "The Lives and Times of Archy and Mehitabel". Continued…
