Chumley here! My we look like we could be twin brothers! Sounds like you have "cattitude" like me too! I'm quite ornery & like to act up & be silly! I have a unique expression on my face all the time with my eyes just partly open so they say I look like I must have been smoking the catnip! MOL They say that I must have a "stash" hidden in my room somewhere cuz my sisters haven't been able to find it!
Don't know about you, but I'm a "daddy's boy"! I love to sit on his lap and watch the hockey game! I'm a big Pgh. Pens fan!
I see you live in Oregon...bet you get lots of snow up there! We got tons of snow last night here in SW PA. I'm glad that I'm an inside kitty now. I remember those cold days out there and I didn't like it one bit! I'm too much of a pampered-puss now! I have 2 step-sisters who I love so much and when I have to go see the vet, they look all over the place for me & they worry. I have to go about every 3 months to get an injection of demomedrol for my breathing. I also have to have Lysine sprinkled on my food every day for my immune system. See, I had eaten a mouse awhile back & for some reason, whether I didn't chew it up enough or what, it didn't digest and just stayed there in my stomach. It started to actually rot in there and I had to be rushed to the vet for emergency surgery! I'm fine now, as long as I get my medicine.
I live here with 8 other roomies. But me & my step-sisters are in our own room because we still have all of our claws & the other kitties have their front claws removed. Mommy & daddy had to do this because both of their jobs entailed them working with blood and they couldn't risk having scratches all over them with all the crazy diseases out there & if they got sick, they wouldn't be able to take care of us. We have a really cool room with tons of toys, a really soft chair, blankets & boxes & a kitty cube to name a few. And the door is a full screen door so we can see what is going on out in the house. The other kitties come by and we chat through the door for awhile. Our pawrents have our room all fixed up for us so it's like a kitty paradise. We really love our huge cat tree & my sisters & I all like to lay in the very top which they call the "crow's nest". Sometimes we can share it but mostly my sister Mudgie gets it before we do. It sits in front of a huge picture window & there's a big desk in front of it so we can lounge on there & watch all the birds at the bird feeders hanging from the huge trees out there.
Daddy brings me out for "visits" every day and I sit on his lap. Like I said earlier, I especially like to come out for my "hockey visits".
We also get treats any time we want them. My favorite is the Tempations in the blue bag....MMMMMMMMMMM!!!
