How We Met
The very night I asked for a kitten and recieved a strict NO!... Lo and behold we found her wandering in our cornfield that very night. We think she was dropped off... but it's impossible to me to see how how cute a girl like her could be dumped :(

When we got on CC on the 30th, the last thing we expected was to see ourselves in the COTD window again and get a second badge! It's nice to meet you. What a lovely kitty family you have! And I like all of your names. I think I "bumped into you" on Ole Gray's page. I wanted to visit some of the kitties who didn't know Angel Jim and the Sunshine Gang and thank them for voting for Ole Gray and for leaving such wonderful messages for him, knowing his Daddy is in heaven and can't answer back. Jim's Sunshine Gang was made up of one male, O.G. and three beautiful girl kitties--Missy, Taz, and Zippi. Jim would regale us with tales of furballs and over-turned litter boxes, kitties pulling the shower curtain down (while Jim was taking a shower!), kitties stealing his lunch off the kitchen counter, and generally keeping their Dad on his toes. For those who didn't know Jim, he had just reached his 70th Birthday, was an avid biker, with a neatly trimmed gray beard and a heart of gold. He was a writer, an engineer, and an ordained minister. He loved his four kitties unconditionally. I looked up at the heavens Wednesday night and saw a fast moving meteor, which was really Jim, streaking through the night skies on his motorcycle, streaming a banner behind him that read, "Thank you,CC kitties for making Ole Gray COTD." And thank you Melanie and family for making that happen. PUrrs and hugs, Gin GinCome visit me, Ginger Spicegirl.

12 ~VOTE COTD 11/30 ~ OLE GRAY 20257~
The temperature was high 46 & low was 28 this morning, now it's 43 feels like 39 with humidity 82% & wind is 7 MPH. Tuesday's suppose to be Rain/Wind & 47.
~♥~ IN MEMORY OF JIM CHANDLER ~♥~
We wanted to do a SPECIAL Catpaign for OLE GRAY 20257 in the Memory & Honor of his human dad, Jim. We called him "Uncle Jim". So many friends to Jim and his beloved babies OLE GRAY 20257; Missy, Taz and Zippy would agree this would be an honor to vote OLE GRAY 20257 for his COTD on 11/30/2010 and receive his Badge on December 1st ~~ ONE year ago in the passing of Jim.
Jim loved so many things like his "Frosty Beverage" or always going to the "Cabinet"; the "Sunshine Gang" had wonderful and funny stories to tell most everyday then "Uncle Jim" decided to call them "As The Rancho Turns".
When Uncle Jim passed away on 12/01/2009, he left behind his four kitties. Mom had contacted his daughter and asked her if she was going to keep them together with her and she told mom she would, but that didn't happen. So many of us CC friends were very upset about that. Mom tried to get an update on all the kitties but Jim's friend hasn't returned mom's email.
OLE GRAY 20257 was a kitty who wondered in and stayed in the garage for some time before deciding to venture into the Rancho home then he decided he liked it so well he stayed. One of OLE GRAY'S 20257 favorite sleeping place was in the middle of the pillows on Uncle Jim's bed.
Please stop by on Tuesday~11/30 to give him a vote. Keep in mind, there will be no return visits by this family.

SASSEE 10605 ~ Mom got her to see Dr. Nancy at 8:45 this morning. Sassee did purr*fect with her ride over there & back home with no fussing nor meowing. She got a Conenia & a Depo-Medrol injection. I'm also to apply Pyoben Gel daily. Dr. Nancy says mom's doing great with cleaning the acne. Mom asked if it could be stress related & Dr. Nancy said yes.
