I am so sorry about your loss of Ginger, Ginger sounded like a very wonderful and loving companion.
Spooky says: Thank you for voting for me. My ear is bent like that from an operation I had last year. I somehow got a bacteria in my ear that would not go away no matter how many times it got flushed and I had to take so many antibiotics. I had surgery, my eardrum was removed and my ear canal was closed, I don't hear anymore out of that ear but I don't have any pain or itching any more and have gotten use to it.
I was lucky the doctor [he did my cancer/colon surgery this year] is a great gifted man, he told me I might have nerve damage or my eye might never close right that it would alway stay open and not blink, but this doctor managed to do the operation to perfection and I have control over my eye, my ear still moves too, and I am alive because of his skill, not just for my ear he did my cancer operation, that was very serious he had to drop my pelvis to get to my tumor and I was in surgery for 5 hours and in ICU for 7 days. I am very thankful to my doctor. He got the entire tumor and sewed my colon and even though I go to the box often I am starting to get control about holding it in. The tumor was in the rectal area.
When at my chemotherapy, there was another Spooky black like me and it was hard to tell us apart, except for my ear.
