You won't believe what she did to me!!!!mom was busy with Dr’s appts & then had the nerve to leave me all alone in a big house, all by myself – I mean there was no one around & it was my very fist time!! Mom was at the hospital have a sleep study done. When she came home this morning, let me tell you, she got a piece of what was left of my furry little brain!! After some snuggling & special food for breakfast, I was better, but I am going to have to keep a closer eye on her from now on, even though she promised not to desert me again for all night!! Thanks for trying, but the case is closed. It is all over & the bear copped a plea - he apologized to Princess Oreo & promised to hold his piece. You see, it wasn't Princess Oreo that tried to suffocate him, he just got knocked down into the pillows with the parents were making the bed - it was an accident. My name is Teddy?You don’t know me? I have taken a page from the Hairball oops, I mean the Furballs diary?Let me explain?I am Mommy’s son and was her only child until the black & white Furball came into our lives?You call her Princess Oreo, I call her the “Interloper” ... I was adopted in 1996?My Mommy had an operation and she lost all her lady parts and Daddy adopted me to keep Mommy company when she was in the hospital and to cuddle with her too?Life was great until August 17, 2002 when the little spoiled witch, oops I mean the Furball got herself adopted?Let me tell you, she sure is a lot of trouble?I am white and soft, she is black and furry & sheds, I don’t meow or talk, she doesn’t shut up, I want to cuddle all the time, she has to be in the mood, I don’t need to be fed, she eats all the time, I don’t need to drink water, she dribbles water everywhere, I don’t need litter or a potty, she is constantly in her litter box & kicking litter out everywhere?Need I go on?We keep our distance for the most part?I sleep above Mommy and Daddy’s pillows & when she was a baby she couldn’t get on the bed to bother me?I liked it like that?When she was able to hop on the bed she annoyed me?She sleeps right next to Mommy on Daddy’s pillow ?Her fur gets all over everything including me?Annoying?The fact that she never talked about me is okay ?As you can tell, I’m not to crazy about her either?But something has to be done, she crossed the line?That’s why I decided to tell all her friends the truth about her?She is a spoiled, demanding, lazy, noisy, selfish brat?You won’t believe what she did?She tried to suffocate me in my own bed?Mommy and Daddy went to bed last night and Mommy didn’t see me in my usual spot ..They looked all over for me and finally Daddy pulled me out from under his pillow?That’s right you heard me, I was under his pillow face down?Hmmm, how did I get there?...Can you guess who put me there??Yup, the little trouble maker?As if I could breath with a pillow over my face?Then she had the audacity to say she didn’t do it?She acted all innocent when Daddy asked her how I got under the pillow?Liar, liar tail on fire..The wicked Furball and I know the truth?She was trying to kill me?As usual she didn’t get into any trouble so I decided it was my duty to let the whole world know what kind of cat she really is?.She’s evil?Watch your back you never know what she might do?.If you ask her about this I am sure she’ll deny it?She’ll tell you I am just a stuffed bear...Ha, I am so much more then that?I have feelings you know and a heart?I just thought it was time that everyone knew the truth about your precious Princess. ..Take it from me she is not the goodies two shoes she makes herself out to be?Well, I’ve had my say and maybe this will teach the brat not to mess with meCome visit me, Duchess Sassy & the Angels! & KITTY GIRL CONTEST.

Your legal team has arrived. As Sassy enters the court room, accompanied by Cinnamon with our precious princess, a hush falls over the crowded courtroom. There isn't an empty place to be found, so alas, some kitties are sitting on their friends’ shoulders so they can see what is going on. All the kitties cheer as the defendant is brought into the courtroom, flanked by 2 large toms to make sure he cannot be a threat to any precious feline in the room. The bailiff, our very own Gracie, calls for everyone to rise when the judge comes in - one of the toughest judges on the bench - the hangin’ judge - His Honor Poopie Pants (hope you don't mind being the Judge Poopie Pants)!!
Everyone be seated, says the judge. He motions to Sassy for her opening statement. Sassy stands & says Good Morning to the Judge & turns toward the jury. Now this is a very select jury, as it is made up of 12 fine felines. Usually, a trial by jury is judged by the peers of the defendant, but since this is the Feline Empire created long ago, it is the defendant's lot that they will be judged by felines; no other identity is recognized in the Feline Empire. On the jury are prominent members of CC: King Pete, Queen Linquini, Queen Boo Kitty, King Max, Queen Abigail, Queen Sheba. We have royalty making up half the jury because it is one of our Princesses that has been accused. The other six members are: Sparky, Lucky, Mickey from Alaska, Mimi, Cindy & JoJo. All members of the jury have been sworn in & Sassy steps forward with her opening statement: Princess Oreo has requested this trial to regain her good name. She has been unjustly accused by this foreign substance often referred as a "bear." This creature has made false accusation & should be banned from the Feline Empire - Cinnamon quietly consoles Princess Oreo as she cries softly due to the emotional strain this has put on our precious Princess. Thank you, as Sassy returns to her seat & the "creature's" counsel turns to address the jury. Of course, being in the Feline Empire, the creature is represented by a feline named Trance. Unfortunately, Trance was selected by the luck of the draw to represent the creature, he didn't want to, but being the honest kitty he is, he will represent the creature to the best of his ability. He turns to address the jury: Good morning fellow felines, it is my duty to show my client's side of this case. We hope to prove that it was done in fun, with no harm intended. My client is innocent of the charges against him. He was only expressing his opinion of the whole matter. I hope you will listen to this case with an open mind. Thank you. Trance returns to his seat. Sassy steps up to the podium & begins: To begin with, the Creature admits that we don’t know him & he has actually invaded Princess Oreo’s Diary. At this time, as well as others, he has also referred to the Princess in the most slanderous of terms: Hairball, interloper, spoiled witch, trouble maker, liar & so on. He claims that our Princess is spoiled, demanding, lazy, noisy, a selfish brat & evil. These terms can all be discounted, as this is only his opinion & what he says doesn’t count because he is the interloper in this matter. Yes, you heard me, most kitties are spoiled, demanding, noisy & can be selfish, especially if they are an only child. Believe me, I should know – I am an only child!! We rest our case, Your Honor. Sassy gathers her papers, adjusts her collar & returns to her seat, also to console Princess Oreo.
You can hear snickering throughout the court room. Judge Poopie Pants raps his gavel & the room comes back to order, & now we will hear from Trance on behalf of the Creature.
Trance steps up to the podium & addresses the Jury: Kitties of the Jury, I know that the evidence weighs heavy against my client, but I ask for your mercy toward him in this matter. We admit that he did say those things about Princess Oreo (the Princess is again comforted by Cinnamon as she tried to maintain her composure), but they were not intended to harm her or cause anyone to think badly of her. My client is not a feline & doesn’t understand that actually Furball is a compliment to some kitties. Also, he does admit that he saw Princess Oreo’s diary, but it was lying open on the floor & he couldn’t help seeing it. I know, that is no excuse, but please, find it in your heart to give him the benefit of the doubt. He is a species lower than we are & therefore deserves your kindness & consideration in this extreme matter. Trance wipes his forehead with his hanky & sighs deeply; he knows that this is an uphill battle for his client. #3 Legal Installment – CLOSING ARGUMENTS
Judge Poopie Pants, Attorneys Sassy & Trance come into the courtroom after a conference in the Judge’s Chambers. Judge Poopie Pants calls the court to order & asks Bailiff Gracie to bring in the jury. After the jury is seated, Sassy approaches the jury for her closing argument.
Kitties of the jury, we have shown you what transpired on that date between our Princess & the bear creature. To refresh your recollection, the bear creature was acquired when the parents were in emotional pain due to mom’s surgery. Dad got the bear creature to help mom thru everything. However, a few years later, the parents knew that they needed something more – someone who could love them back & give their life more meaning by a living presence; hence, they adopted our Princess. She could love them back unconditionally. Princess Oreo is their little Princess & they are glad that she doesn’t shut up, that she sheds, that she loves to cuddle, that she eats, drinks, makes a mess (this is the bear creature’s wording) – in short, that she is the sweet loving kitty they wanted; the Princess they chose to bring into their home to add life to it. That is the main point – she is alive & the bear creature isn’t. She could give love & meaning to their lives; the bear creature cannot. It is our position that the bear creature was caught up in the covers & pillows when the bed was being made – a complete accident. Of course Princess Oreo denied doing it, because she didn’t do it. Believe you me, if she had wanted to do that, she would have accomplished her mission, as all kitties do. However,

Your Honor – Trance stands & interrupts Sassy’s closing – may we approach the bench for a sidebar?? The Judge motions them forward, where the 3 of them confer softly so as not to influence the jury………..
After a short time, both attorneys return to their chairs & Judge Poopie Pants dismisses the jury, thanking them for their service & for doing their civic
duty.
Judge Poopie Pants calls the court to order, as all the kitties are whispering with each other, wondering what in the world is going on. After everyone finally settles down, the Judge says: The parties in this matter have reached a plea agreement which is acceptable to this court. Being that we are intelligent & compassionate kitties, we are hereby allowing the bear creature to openly apologize to Princess Oreo – who has been able to almost stop crying – admit his wrong doing & forever hold his piece. I hope that this hearing has served as an example of the compassion the Feline Empire has, but also sets the standard that a citizen of our Empire will not be mistreated in any way, shape or form by anyone.

Didn't you go to CMR & read the story from the bear?? You have to do that to understand. You haven't done anything wrong; you were appointed by the Feline Empire court to defend the creature (the bear) who attacked the good name of Princess Oreo. Sweetie, you don't have to do anything. I just used your name in making up the legal story for Princess Oreo to regain her good name - the creature (the bear) has accused the Princess of trying to suffocate him. Remember, this is virtual reality & there is nothing for you to do or be concerned about. I picked you because you are a senior kitty & have wisdom. No one wants to defend the creature (the bear), but you stepped forward being the gentlekitty you are because you know that every being has a right to a defense. Hello my dear CC furiends! Please accept my apologies for this c/p as well as not being able to make it on this past week or so...to make a long story short, I was offline while my family was at a dog show, then when they got back the internet started randomly shutting off and when it was working it was quite slow [still is], had some issues with the odd virus coming from DC & CC, and on top of that mom has an extremely busy few weeks ahead of her too so I most likely won't be on too often until late June. I've been doing good here...lots of mice to catch, grass to nibble on, and humans to demand attention from. The usual, hehe! Sorry you are missing your mom. As for dogs, they should all be banned to Greenland!! It was 80 here today & mom was in the bedroom doing a snow dance!! She hates the heat & the sun actually depresses her. We almost lost Cinni tonight, as she got outside, but daddy was able to catch her. Why would H be out in the street in that awful heat??
