There it is - that picture with your heart! On your chin no less. Should we leave our wigs on and go to all the parties incognito? We can even make towel costumes and brown bag masks. We can over-indulge in the refreshing beverages and roll in the nip and make total fools of ourselves and no one will know! Later they'll just say, "Gosh, I wonder who that fun couple was?" Hahhaa!

You just keep your frozen paws to yourself and we'll get along fine! I think we may be pulling out of the 30's and 40's by tomorrow. So say the totally incompetent weather guys anyway. WHY can't we go scratch their eyes out when they are wrong more than 2 days in a row???

The temperature was high 61 & low was 46 this morning, now it's 60 with humidity 55% & wind is 9 MPH W. Saturday's suppose to be Rain & Sun & High 65.

♥ We had a break in the weather with no rain for today so about noon mom and dad loaded the truck with several automotive batteries to Interstate Batteries for recycle and some electronics to a different recycle place. Mom also started going through her jewelry armoir to thin out her jewelry collection since she hardly wears most of it and will put it in the yaed sale stuff!!!!

♥ Mom did open dad's bedroom window this afternoon, so we could go out in the cattery for a little while.

You look SO adorable in pink! And what a perfect disguise. Who would expect big manly-man to be in a pink wig! Now just top that off with the tiara and voila! The perfect impenetrable disguise! Haha! I think I should go with the dark blue and the biker helmet. Too macho? But it's suppose to be a disguise! So we can watch The Two being hauled away under the nets.

go away come again some other day....namely 2 weeks so things can dry out and not rot off! janet is saying this as well as many farmers who've planted crops and others who are hoping that the strawberry crops didn't get to damaged as it's almost their time to start to come in as they were at this time last year due to the unusually warmer temps. which we don't get till later next month. sandy,ana,haley,angels

A cool, wet & breezy day at NICE H.Q.
I had planned on doing some blogging yesterday but my brother Zaboo wasn't feeling well so stayed cuddled on mom's lap almost the entire day. He was a BAD boy that was caught nibbling at Sammie dog's food & anyone that knows Zaboo knows he's not supposed to do that! I say we need to get kitty pawcuffs for him because he can open the dog's kennel,or any door if it doesn't get latched. Needless to say his tummy was upset the whole day & he was also barfy three times. He's doing fine today though & mom made sure the kennel is securely latched so he can't repeat his bad behavior again. What are we going to do with that boy? He's too smart for his own good at times & also stubborn as a mule! I've tried whacking him when I see him getting into things & so has Trixie but he yowls at us & stands up to his full height to show how big & bad he'll become if we continue to harass him! Talk about a brat...MOL!!! I hate it when he feels bad & always snuggle, clean & comfort him because he's my best kitty furiend but he definitely put a kink in my tail when he prevented me from blogging yesterday! Oh well...what's done is done & today is another day!

Joseph gets a HUGE paws up from me!! He caught a mouse that was trying to get inside yesterday. Pretty pawsome achievement for a kitty with very limited vision! It was really cute when he was done playing with it too. He carefully carried it to the porch (he'd been playing in the grass) & dropped it, then he climbed up to the window & meowed at mom...MOL! She went outside & loved on him while telling him what a good boy he was then gave him a can of FF as a reward! Gold star day for sweet Jo Jo yesterday!!!

Trixie & Fluffernut are being wild & crazy chasing each other, wrestling & boxing today. I just heard Trixie hiss so Fluffers must have made contact...MOL! Our Trixie may be a sweetheart but she's also got a lot of impish behavior & cyclonic action that comes out full force when she & Fluffers start romping! Fluffers is also quite the little imp herself but she's never gotten the best of our calico cyclone & probably never will since Trixie is the queen of chaos..MOL! Zaboo & I are lounging around not doing anything except for an occasional glare at our little sisters. YAWN...it's one of those days so will stop meowing at you now & get back to the serious business of napping...MOL!

Getting our own box of taffy. I saw The Two in the yard chasing each other with big ropes of taffy. God only knows what will be stuck in it this time! Maybe they'll both be so covered in goo they'll stick themselves to a tree. Now THAT would be worth paying to see!

Let's go find a lucky penny. We can make a wish and toss it in the water hazard. Not to worry either. ♥ On Monday morning, 5/20, momfolded 3 loads of laundry, then she mowed the back yard while dad loaded his truck with scrap wood to haul away. When mom was done she then helped dad with the second load of wood then they were going thru piles of metal, wire, nuts, bolts, etc to put in separate piles for the scrap yard and the garbage dump. That was a long hard and hot day!!!!

♥ On Tuesday, mom got a phone call from Pet Food Stamps letting mom know they received the proper paper work and will contact mom once they verify it all to let her know if we qualify. Mom's xcited about it!!!!

♥ This morning, after mom gave me my anxiety pill then fed me my Fancy Feast can food with MiraLax mixed in it, I ate it all up like I normally do then I went potty. Mom scooped out the litter boxes then when she came into dad's room to give Sassee 10605 her Dasuquin pills and seen someone got barfy on the floor and knew it was me cuz it was Fancy Feast and dry food. Mom checked me out and said to just rest which I do anytime I don't feel well. I did come out once this afternoon to get a few bites of the dry food then went back to dad's bed to sleep more.

Goodness, I was once scared kitty. I was outside when a storm kicked up, the wind got really bad, it started to pour rain and stuff was blowing everywhere...I ran like the wind to get back in the house, then mom shut the back door and closed some windows and turned off her Computer in case the power went out.

It has calmed down now, just sprinkling and a bit windy, but not like it was. A big birch tree got uprooted in Dearborn when the winds got uo to 60mph at one point. Scary stuff.

We were outside all day before that, and mom gave the birds some donuts she never ate and you should have seen them go to town on them, we even had a Red Cardninal. The birds like donuts, we were all watching them through the fence...we think mom should feed them in our yard so we can have a snack, too. <MOL>

Getting ready to go to MHL soon. Kelsee has to post her game on the Office page, but she did get it done. vWe were afraid we might miss tonight if the power went out. We hate storms on Hockey nights.

Hope you're having better weather then we are today. Goodness. Now I am sitting by the back door and wanting to go back outside cause the rain stopped, but it is sprinkling.

I wouldn't sleep with my mom either if she looked like a festering new disease.... Mom uses a really OLD remedy, OTC now. The generic name is chlorpheniramine. They market it at WalMart as Chlor-tabs. Mom NEVER runs out of the stuff. As soon as she opens the one in the closet she goes and gets another one to have handy! One advantage - no drowsiness.

Maybe we can invite her to watch The Muppets with us. Laughter is good. She can snuggle with ORB! Since he's non-allergic.... Oohhh! I wonder if we smear vanilla pudding all over her, it might help? We can get those BIG containers - and eat the left-overs! Maybe Gma should dump about 10 lbs of baking soda in the hot tub and go sit in it for 2 days. Couldn't hurt, and WE would be in charge until she gets better. Oh, this DOES have possibilities....

♥ She was a beautiful Tuxedo girl who was also the Knight Matriarch! She was brought to us along with her littermate brothers Sam & Sly also littermate sister Aunt Samantha 15442 by their fur mama and fur dad [a Calico as well as a Tabby tom]. We were surprised about the tom helping with baby kittens. Not many toms would help out with kittens!

♥ The two pictures of Baby and me in her gallery is when she was under sedation before her Forever Sleep. That's also the first time I had gotten to hold her during her 12 years of life. Petting was not an issue as she loved that!

♥ Thank you once again for your visits to Baby in Honoring her 3rd year Forever Sleep as I really do appreciate it very much!

Oohhh, popcorn fight under the stars. This way the little woodland creatures come along and clean up the evidence. 71 at 8 a.m. and you're happy? My mom would be frantic! When it's that warn here that early it means we won't stop til we top 90! We MIGHT have rain today. We're hoping.

Okay, if I can just remember where I hid the keys to my little convertible. I had to make sure The Two wouldn't find them, and now I think I can't find them either. *grumble* Let's see..... Not over here. Hmmm.... Not over there. Well, horse cookies! I can't find 'em. Guess we'll have to walk. Do a little warming up before the sports get started. HAH! Just kidding! she was the only one up, but others are waking up as it was her pepper and the 3 of us keeping her company in her bedroom as she sits and blogs before going to a 7:45 dr's appt. for warts. the nurse practioner will see she's got the sinus flu and maybe just maybe give her something which won't burn her stomach or interfer with meds she's on! likely not since the coricedrin hbp cold/flu works pretty good most of the time. see ya soon for sports day! sandy,ana,haley,angels

well mom is running on empty this morning she slept in, boy you should have seen her move!!!MOL!!! I think she is going to ask dad to turn the air on tonight!!! Gpa still isn't doing so hot, mom went up to see him after work yesterday and spent two hrs trying to get him to eat. He finally did eat a little. I brought a couple envelopes of Oatmeal bath for Gma it does make it feel better!!! :)

Stinging nettle!
We have it all over the place, and it has NO effect on the d-o-g, and she actually likes to get in the stuff and rub all around in it. Then she comes into the house and shares with mom and dad. Good thing the stuff seems to wear off pretty quick. If nobody touches her for an hour or so, no problem.

Oh, I'd love to paw-paint Gma! You do have an industrial size drum of calamine? And maybe a paint roller would would better. You're right - paws will take forever! And we DO want to have some daylight left so we can pick some strawberries!

Hi Ernie,
Gpa is doing OK but may have had another stroke. he was so goofy from the UTI Mom couldn't tell for sure. Poor guy now he is getting very little sleep being in the hospital. Mom went up after the barn then came worked around the house for a bit and both of them up to see him last night. Mom's computer got crashed...long story on Saturday while she was at work. jnet's up and at blogging once again! she woke up after a restless night and finally (as usual) fell asleep not long before it was time to get up again! i think it was due to her falling asleep in her recliner for an hour or more after getting in from planting the rest of the fenced in part of the garden. trouble is it needs covering with netting now, but with boomers and rain not likely till things dry out a bit more by this upcoming weekend. sandy,ana,haley,angels

The temperature was high 66 & low was 53 this morning, now it's 66 with humidity 50% & wind is 8 MPH N. Monday's suppose to be Sunny & High 74.

♥ Honoring our fur mama, BABY KNIGHT'S 13286 Three Year Forever Sleep on Monday, May 20th!!!!
Baby was mama to most of us Knight Kitties. You can see the list of ALL Baby's Children on her page 13286 in her BIO section.

♥ Well, the Yard Sale is over til after the first of June, but not the work for mom and dad as they will still be going thru the storage shed next with throwing things away and saving things for the next sale!!!! The last two days of the sale never even made $40 for both days!!!!

♥ Mom and dad has been doing a bunch of weeding in the front yard in between customers during the sale and rain. Today, mom went in the back yard and scooped out the big 3X5 (used to be 5X5) sand`litter box then she got her new weedeater assembled, as she had to take the other one back to Wal*Mart then went to Lowes and got one there instead. She got the front yard weedeated then she mowed the front yard.

♥ Mom did open dad's bedroom window this morning so we could be out in the cattery. It was nice getting the fresh air.

Recently a cat loving family had their red female cat, Angel Rhuby cross over the Rainbow Bridge. The cat mom of this family decided she would like to adopt another red female and as luck would have it, there was Rosie at the Petsmart Adoption Center. Rosie #252822 and her new mom bonded instantly and Rosie came to her new home that day. Rosie was at the shelter for over two months and was a bit wild. She didn't like being kept in a cage and would fight with the shelter workers when they tried to put her back in her cage. This was a big reason why Rosie #252822 wasn't adopted sooner; she was scared and the people looking at her were not patient with her until her new mom came along. Now at her new home Rosie #252822 is a cuddle cat with her daddy and loves to play with her brother Yogi. She gets along with the rest of her furry siblings and is a happy cat. Rosie #252822 will not eat dry food but she will eat any kind of wet food. She doesn't like dry treats either! Rosie loves to play with her furry mouse and the laser light. Rosie #252822 is happily spoiled now in her new home and we are very happy she has found a wonderful loving home. Rosie would be so honored to have a COTD badge to display on her page. A devil hunt!
Seems Bwana Bee Gee and her faithful net bearer Stevo Sabe have gotten bitten by the hunt bug! Wonder what they'll be after next? We can only wait and see. But really, don't they understand that the cake is devil's FOOD? They are supposed to FEED it to the.... Oh never mind. Let's just take out our luxurious frozen cake with the half inch thick frosting and watch the The Tailless Two hunting through the undergrowth for the 'devil'. Maybe we can pop the cap on one of those bacon and egg sodas! Oh, yum!

mom's day started with a call fom assisted living then she went to work and her stupid computer froze on an update then it crashed totally. Chocolate and strawberry wine? Out here there's a soda pop company called Jones Soda, and they make such alluring flavors as Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Pop, Fruitcake Pop, Cranberry and Turkey and Gravy Pop. You get the picture. And it's all TRUE! OMG! They even have something called WhoopAss! I don't want to know....

I think we should gather all the paper plates and paper cups and hold onto them for safe keeping before The Two decide to make a raft out of them or something. Since it's No Dirty Dishes Day, I think it's only fair we do our part. We can lounge around nibbling cheese souffle until The Race. I guess BG was right about something - frightening, I know - HOW did we miss picking Orb in the Derby?? It's a natural! So we'll hide our giant stash of Reeses under the couch cushions and watch Steve paddle around in the brew barrel until race time. I wonder if BG can keep him in there that long? :)

after....
today the weather doesn't sound to good for most of next week, but we sure can use all that rain! things are still so dry despite the small dent we made in it the past 2 weeks, not enough to really soak things good! janet is back to work through monday and will be zapped for energy by noontime and has things which have to be planted in the garden and can't be put off to much longer, no hoe to work with master is to get one maybe today...she hopes! sandy, ana,haley,angels
