I had new kitten who needed a buddy plus the mother cat had been run over and the kittens needed homes so I took him.

Our heavy rain from yesterday turned into snow when the temps dropped last night.

Good to meet you. Sorry I have been so slow with my mail. my furmate Abigail Shyla is currently CC's Queen of the month and is taking all the rest of us kitties computer time. She will be done the end of the month and then purhaps we can catch the rest of or pages up.
It has been a massive job, but fun.
I hope to catch up with you katz again soon.

Castle Mews,
Its back to business at the castle with morning meetings. Koshka and I had a wonderful time sailing into the sunset in the Royal Ship on the Sea of Katnip.
We enjoyed the crystal clear waters and frolicked on the sandy beaches with Puff and Jed close behind us.
We chased each other around the ship, and explored the beaches taking time to get some sunbathing and katnapping on the ships upper deck.We enjoyed a purrfect sunset sipping on an aged bottle of catnip wine.All was good until we were awakened this morning by loud noises, growling dragons, & the sound of unhappy voices. Koshka, the brave tom that he is told me to stay below while he went above to see what was amiss. I did as my new husband asked, while tuning my highly, sensitive ears to listen to what was happening on the upper deck. I could hear the dragons, Jed & Puff hissing, growling and could smell the smoke from their breath. Koshka, kept yelling No, No, No and I knew something was not as it should be, I put on my castle robe and crown and carefully opened the hatch quietly sticking my head out, trying to decifer what might be happening. I was grabbed from behind, pulled up to the upper deck of the ship. I was blindfolded & treatrd quite roughly in the shuffle. I was told to call off the dragons. I was taken to the top level of the ship, blindfold removed. I saw Koshka tied to the mast pole, I screamed for him to be released. Puff & Jed still blowing small smoke rings, came to lay beneath my feet. I saw 12 masked men with black hats, weapons & each had an eye patch covering the left eye. PIRATES had taken over the Royal Ship, threatning to harm my Koshka if I did not make the dragons behave & stop heating up the situation. I explained that I was the Queen of Hearts & that my new husband & I were enjoying a night away to celebrate our wedding. Capt. Jack Donavon, seemed to be in charge, he took my crown from my head, squinting at me, taking in my story. I saw that he had one gorgeous blue eye, not covered by a patch. I took in the other PIRATES who all seemed Persian or Himalayan. I spoke to Jack Donavon, asking where he was from. He said he was from Persia. I told him about myself, I am Himalayan, I am the Queen of Feb. living in the Royal Castle. I demand for my husband to be set free. Jack Donavon, cut throught the ropes binding Koshka's arms & legs setting him free. I hugged him so tight & rounded up several bottles of catnip wine for Jack & his crew. We talked,, drank wine & discovered that we were possibly, long lost cousins. The pirates then appologized & offered to give us safe return, following us back toward the Royal Castle. I invited them as guests for dinner & the evening festivities. Jack promised no more Pirate Ships would sail near the waters of Royal Castle. What an adventure! Geez, a girl just can't get any rest. MOL Congrats to Kit COTD
