It’s a SHOUT-OUT!!
Pick some flowers, blow up some balloons or just show up with your biggest hugs on the page of SUGAR #62813 today! This sweet kitty lady has had a rough time of it lately & had been admitted to the hospital to remove a tumor on her neck. She returned home on the evening of the 11th with LOTS of stitches in her beautiful neck & is still weak & wobbly but feeling a lot better than she did. We’re happy that she can get from her chair to the food, water & litterbox but she could use some extra purrs & hugs to help her heal even faster from the procedure. She’s doing great on her diet of baby food & feline Nutri-Cal but we’re sure this sweet girl is dreaming of the day she can eat her regular food again. I found you on the Coolest Cats and you are the Coolest. Pawing you a vote and you are real cutie. My mom made me a tuna cake and it was good. I am sending you some.
Cats will race even faster to the sound of a whirring can opener if they think you're about to prepare this tasty and nutritious dish.
Tuna Cake
2 eggs
1 6-ounce can tuna, drained and flaked
4 slices bread, cubed into kitty-bite-size piece
1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
1 teaspoon brewer's yeast
1 teaspoon bonemeal
2 Tablespoons margarine
1. Beat the eggs lightly in a bowl. Add the tuna bread cubes, salt, brewer's yeast, and bonemeal. Mix thoronghly until moistened.
2. Form into small patties. Melt the margarine in a skillet and fry the patties until golden brown. When cool, crumble each patty and serve.
Makes 3 to 5 servings
