I am a Norwegian Forest Cat from Webster, NY

Nicknames: Yep! His full name is Patches Pussycat, Kissy Cat McDoodles, Tobias Tickletails. He hates when I call him by his full name in front of strangers! LOL!

Age: 15 years old

Gender: M

Coat: long haired

Education: He surprised me 1 day when I got home from work - he was on the roof of the house! It's just a ranch but even so - I NEVER expected to hear him meow from there! I panicked & was about to call 911 when he ran along the roof, jumped into the tree & ran down the trunk like he was running along the sidewalk! Took ME awhile to settle down but HE was fine!
I'm proud of everything he does because he's just so cute!
Patches likes to jump on my desk when I'm on the computer so I can scratch his ears. I will tell him to "stand up - turn around & sit down" so I can reach his ears more easily. HE DOES IT! I don't point or tap - I just give a verbal command & he follows it! He also knows right & left. When I'm scratching his ear I'll ask him for the other ear & he turns his head so I cna scratch that one!

My favorite tricks and treats are: He's always follong me but that's not exactly tricky!
He'll sometimes chase his tail around a chair leg - I always crack up at that! and Anything I'm eating! J/K! He liks all treats.

Where I hang out: He loves to snuggle in the bay window, either of his 2 beds or on my cow spotted blanket on MY bed! He likes empty boxes too.

My favorite grubs: He's an equal opportunity cat - he'll give ALL food an opportunity to be gobbled up. He even likes fruit & yogurt!

My pet peeves: He HATES his carrier & going to the vet. He's also not too fond of being told no. He really DOES understand yes, no, come here & get down. He only does that IF he feels like it though. He's also not too fond of dogs. Big dogs are a challenge - he stares them down or swipes at their noses & teaches them who's the alpha cat real quick. Little dogs just kind of scare him. I think because they're his size but they aren't a cat makes him upset. Definitely a pet peeve of his!

What I love about my owners: She's pretty goofy so that always makes me laugh. She also buys my favorite foods & loves taking pictures of me. She's always talking to me too so now I know LOTS of human words. I just wish she spoke feline better. I'm still teaching her. Maybe someday!?!

My cat hobbies: Sleep, eat, greet EVERYONE who comes to visit, have his ears scratched & get his daily "fang" shui massage!
