CC is putting a kink in my tail today
& if it moves any slower I'm going to find a snail to blog for me before I start clawing the keyboard...MOL!
I was hissing at the window earlier this morning when I saw my crazy mommy cat Sassee getting ready to jump at the screen. Trixie ran up to join me in hissing at her & then she left so must have decided that pouncing toward 2 hissing kitties might not be such a great idea...MOL! Mom has been able to pet her dark tiger kitten but the other one scampers off (like I used to) anytime he/she hears a noise. Time & lots of mom's patience will hopefully tame these two wildcats just like it did me. Joseph is another prime example of patience & love because he wouldn't have survived without mom's help. He's a sweet & gentle boy that loves to lay on mom's lap when she's sitting outside...or when he's in for his daily visit. I hiss at him when he comes in but he ignores me so guess I'm not as scary as I think I am...MOL!
Zaboo & Patches are doing fine & have been enjoying the last couple of days when mom has been able to open the windows. She says she'll probably have to shut them down later this afternoon though because it's beginning to heat up even higher temps predicted for the rest of the week. Guess we should expect that though since summer is peeking around the corner at us. Well I'd better get pouncing so I can visit as many as possible today & clean up our pages. You're being pounced on with happy purrs
Joey...MOL! This is your sweet but ornery Fluffinella getting back into the swing of things after a short vacation. It's a cool, partly cloudy, breezy day so far but the weather predictors say it's supposed to warm up to nearly 80. Hopefully their crystal weather balls aren't cracked so it gets nice enough for mom to open all of the windows for our viewing pleasure...MOL! I'm not the bravest window sitter in the house but I do enjoy it sometimes IF there's nothing too scary out there! What do I call scary? Well, let's see...I guess I have to say that lawnmowers are at the top of the scary list, followed by tractors, semis, motorcycles & ATV's. Birds are definitely NOT on the scary list though...MOL! Another thing that makes me jump out of the windows is when Sassee approaches the porch! She's had a bad habit of pouncing at the screen if any of us are sitting nearby so we're all very watchful anymore! It ticks Trixie & Zaboo off & they'd like to take a whack at her but Patches & I aren't as motivated to tangle with the outside calico whirlwind...MOL! Well I can't meow too long today or else the kids will be howling they're starving so will leave you a catfish filet filled vote & meow at you more soon.

Welcome back sweet Joey
I missed you!!! I was starting to think you didn't love me anymore but then mom reminded me that your mom was recuperating from eye surgery so I needed to be patient. I hope your mom is feeling & seeing a lot better than she was before sweetie!
I'd love to go out to dinner with you & then take a stroll in the moonlight! Since I'm officially a year old now we don't even have to have a chaperon come along with us this time. I think some dancing at the Cats Eye View lounge might be in order too so I'll get out my blue sparkle dress & will be waiting on the porch swing for you to pick me up.

Glad you all had a fine Easter. Ours was great, too. Pretty quiet, just us and Mom and Dad. Well, I know you've heard this before, but we're all trying to slip in a blog or two while mom is spending time either working in the yard or - get this! - reading! Can you imagine! BOR-ing!! She finally got over her cold, but has been hammered with allergies. The news here says the pollen count in our area is the highest ever recorded! No WONDER we all keep sneezing and blowing snot all over mom when she's trying to sleep! *snicker* Purrs

Well, thanks for the compliment. Mom really like that hatched-egg look for my Easter picture. She already made me a new frame, but we can be sure the crocodile-looking Bee Gee will be back for next Easter!
Well, sure fire! I'd love to be friends! I have to warn you though, sometimes mom - ALWAYS blame it on mom! - sometimes she doesn't get right on the blogging ball, if you know what I mean. But sooner or later I'll get her to answer.
Hope you all had a nice Easter weekend. Ours was super! Fantastic warm weather, 10 degrees above normal for this time of year. We just hope that doesn't mean the summer will be the same way! *groan* Happy April Fool's Day! Purrs

I've been released
& will try really hard to behave myself...especially since my sis will soon be the queen...MOL! Guess what? Trixie said you & your family can ride in the limo with us today when we head to the coronation! We'll have a motorcycle escort thanks to the fantastic Hairballz riders too so it will be pawsome. We'll pick you up on our way to Josie Mae's castle :D

well to start with there is only me mom taz and of course angel marley up above. as for going out and catching the squirrels i am too afraid to go out the door but i do try to get them if they come up on the window sill, but all that does is make me bump my head on the window! it will be okay as long as mom keeps feeding them, she don't plan on going away too soon again so might see them blossom. got our nice spring day, sun is bright so pretty out have a blessed day prayers to all who need, headbonks, hugs/kisses, ham catnip, angel marley/mom/wonderful tigger!Come visit me, Tigger thks 4 my COTD so exciting! & Angel Marley _^-.-^_ RIP 12/16/2008.

Mom says I have quite a bit of devilish behavior in me...MOL! I found out that there's nothing worse than getting busted in a foreign country though! I, & my cohort in crime Mallow, are now required to wear ankle monitors when we travel...sigh. Sneaky Trixie got off scott free because she sent me to do her dirty work but at least she got a firm talking to by the Austrian authorities...MOL! Giving you a ton of sweet kisses & hugs for staying with me even after you found out I'm an ornery kitty...MOL!

~Trixie's Tantalizing Animal Tales~ March 21st
Happy Thursday everyone! Thanks for stopping by to visit me & paw me a COTM vote yesterday! Please pounce by to visit RICKY #106695, our one & only birthday boy today & our beautiful hillbilly Queen Josie Mae #193862 as often as you can to see what she’s got going on! Each day brings me a little closer to the finish line but there are still a few twists & turns for me to make & I’m very happy to be taking you along with me…MOL!
It’s still a very cold 18 at our house today but the sun is shining & we may actually see above freezing temps later this afternoon. That could mean that the silly dog will be allowed to stay out longer. Keeping my paws crossed on that one…MOL! Today I’m still meowing about unusual animal friendships & the one I’ve got for today is very well known on the internet via YouTube.

One day in 1999 in Massachusetts, a kitten in a state of some distress walked onto the property of the elderly Collitos. At first they were concerned that the kitten might not survive – but before long, they noticed that the cat had a strange nurse. A crow was seen bring the starving kitten worms to feed on, and ushering the kitten away from harm by cawing at her. The crow, given the name Moses, and the cat, called Cassie, became internet sensations when the Collitos put videos of them together on YouTube. Eventually, the Collitos were able to coax Cassie indoors with cat food and she spent her evenings enjoying the luxuries of indoor cat life, but every morning at 6 a.m., Moses would peck at the screen door looking for his friend, and Wallace and Ann let Cassie out to play. The unlikely friends spent hours frolicking and wrestling outside and the Collitos filmed the playful pair’s escapades for five years until one day Moses quit showing up. American crows live only seven to eight years in the wild, so it’s thought that Moses passed away. Ann died in 2006, but Cassie, who’s now 12 years old ,still lives with Wallace in their Massachusetts home. Cassie and Moses’ story will continue to touch lives and teach lessons about friendship for years to come, thanks to a children’s book by Lisa Fleming. The 48-page book, “Cat and Crow: An Amazing Friendship,” shares the story of Cassie and Moses’ special bond and includes newspaper clippings and photographs of the two.
Now that’s what I call a true furiendship of different species! I checked out the videos & they’re absolutely adorable the way they play together. You can see them together in my gallery.
