well almost done...
finally as it's taken janet 3-4 tries just to get some of cc done and didn't make it to my page till after all this week's senior week activities were done and over with today for natty. his graduation was last night 6-8:30 pm then his picnic today as a few who committed weren't able to make it and we had a small crowd, but they were all having a good time! nat's been out with his cousin and best friend the rest of this afternoon and will be back around 6 as janet gave him that time and made sure he'll be back here in time as it'll be walk time likely and there's things to bring back to neighbors/his 4th set of godparents before they are due to be home around our suppertime. see ya tomorrow, sandy, ana, angels

Hi, Sabrina: Happy Anniversary to your pawrents! Darn those Phillies! They seem to be getting it all together, then they fall apart again. Did you hear about Contreras? Poor guy threw a pitch and tore a tendon and a ligament - ouch! Vanimal comes back tomorrow. Now they are saying Utley and Howard may not be back in July. Did you hear about Ruiz? **Whew**
Angel Tuffy and I had a busy weekend watching over Mom, her daughter and grand daughter on their "Girls Weekend." Saturday, they drove to Destin to shop and found some cute outfits for Jordyn, age 12. She's going to be "style-in." Did you know that all 3 of these ladies celebrate their birthdays within two weeks of each other? Yup, so they enjoyed a birthday lunch at Destin's Hard Rock Cafe, a dinner steak at Longhorn's, and a hot fudge sundae for dessert. After a day in Destin, Tuffy and I floated on our clouds back to Navarre to watch them enjoy Sunday at our beautiful beaches. They had purrfect weather, sun, and ocean temps to enjoy. Tuffy and I watched a flock of pelican's skim the ocean and then dive head first to get their "dinner." Both of us wished we were on the beach's edge so we could stalk the sandpiper's, who run very fast, but I bet we could catch them - we're CATS after all!!

Hi Sabrina Anne!
Dear CC friends, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers, come home wishes, and condolences on our sweet boy K.C....We miss him sooo much! Your love and support has meant a lot. This Wednesday it will have been 1 month since K.C. went missing. We sure hope he's okay. He will be 15 years old this November 1st. He acted just like a kitten up to the day he went missing though. Mom called her brother, who was care-taking us while she was on her trip, and asked him if K.C. had acted different at all but he said K.C. had not and he had been his healthy, happy, usual self. It's not like K.C. to run away. None of us kitties have ever been gone before, and we are worried that K.C. isn't coming back because he can't. :( We have a huge yellow sign with a clear photo of him and our phone number up at the corner of the busiest street corner near our house. And posters everywhere...grocery stores, Post office, pound, pet supply stores. We have only got a total of 1 phone call (which was on August 12th) since he went missing. They said they saw K.C. crossing the road where we put up that sign. Again, thank you so much for your prayers on his safe return home.....It means a lot, and we're not going to give up the search!
On August 6th we got a new kitty sister. Mom met her while she was at the pound looking for K.C. in case he had been picked up. After thinking it over, mom went back the next day and adopted Duchess. She had been at the pound for a while, but that's hard to believe because she is so sweet, pretty, and cute! Mom is so happy she could save her. Duchess has been a great addition to the family. We haven't exactly accepted her into the pride yet but we're working on it. It seems she likes Abby and dislikes Mickey, but Mickey likes her and Abby doesn't! How strange...Mom is hoping that it will just take time.
Guess what? Today (Monday, August 22nd) is our 3 year anniversary on CatChannel, which is a very special day for us. We are going to take this as an opportunity to give a big thank you to all the wonderful kitties here who have always been so kind to us. We are so grateful for your furiendship! >^..^<
Mom has been busy blogging for our doggy sister Peaka while she runs for the Dog of the Month this month. We think she is doing well, but any silent votes from our CC friends would be great. Her page number is 101122. If you are already voting for her, thank you so much!!

LOST PART THREE
It was an overcast spring day in central California and on this particular day we were going to Sacramento to go to this great big store called Costco. Now I don’t care for Costco so much because since I have gotten too big to be smuggled in inside moms purse I have to wait in the car for her to do the shopping. Once the weather gets warmer my Costco trips will be suspended until the cooler weather returns in the fall. I usually curl up on my special blanket in the back and take a kitty nap until she returns from the shopping with a basket full of litter,cat food and some items that smell pretty good. Mom got out of the car and said “guard the car Rusty and I will be back in a little while” so I headed to the back for my usual nap.

Sorry to learn some kitties has gotten some of Tye dye feathers. when my month is over I just want to be plain Kato again; married to Shakira.
Exit has put a notice about the trip to Venus on Mews Room#46883; planning on going on the trip be sure and read it. I am thankful for Exit of planning this adventure for all the kitties at CC.
It has been a lot of work to set it up and get the permission to land on Venus. I plan on having a fantastic time on the trip. Shakira, Zola & I will greet visitors and rest for the Venus Trip tomorrow. There will be another blog from Exit tomorrow about the activities on Venus on the MEWS Room.
Mom tells me the sun is shining at home. Dad has already been for his walk and is waiting to have his ears tested. Mom wishes to downplay her troubles. There is enough illness on CC without adding another. She has had a number of surgeries; 3 of them for a haital hernia.
She still has a hernia that is acting up. There are days she has trouble doing anything. She will know more this week. Mom appreciates all the concern and prayers for her; but there are others who need it more. About a month a cat leaped from the second floor balcony after a bird. Everyone took the time to look for the cat and it was found. It is not allow out on the patio. The same thing occurred with the kitten. The Castle News can be found on MEWS Room#46883.

thanks for reporting the moving rock.
This morning Shakira, Zola, Mama, Lelu & I are meeting with Pete & Tilley to visit the dark Cavern with the paintings on the wall. I have asked Mamma, Historian and Lelu, Liberian to join us. They need to know just what old documents for which to search.
Mom tells me the sun is shining at home. My Dad is still taking our walks. He has been seeing some of the dogs that live here and quail on his walks. Last week one of the residents on the first floor lost their black & white kitten. They had just obtained it. Mom tells that it was found and is now back home. Mom likes her different doctors and they may be able to help her.

Congrats on your COTD. Pawing you a vote. My mom made me a tuna cake and it was good. I am sending you some.

Cats will race even faster to the sound of a whirring can opener if they think you're about to prepare this tasty and nutritious dish.

Tuna Cake

2 eggs
1 6-ounce can tuna, drained and flaked
4 slices bread, cubed into kitty-bite-size piece
1/2 teaspoon iodized salt
1 teaspoon brewer's yeast
1 teaspoon bonemeal
2 Tablespoons margarine

1. Beat the eggs lightly in a bowl. Add the tuna bread cubes, salt, brewer's yeast, and bonemeal. Mix thoronghly until moistened.

2. Form into small patties. Melt the margarine in a skillet and fry the patties until golden brown. When cool, crumble each patty and serve.

Makes 3 to 5 servings
