How We Met

One day my mom told me that if i got over my fear of tumbling and did my standing tuck b myself she would finally let me adopt a cat. We already had one cat and I knew she was lonely. We had to give away our previous cat due to moving and luckily we could get Angel back. I had rescued a cat that I named Snoopy but she ended up being stolen several years ago and i was devestated. Since that day I always felt like something was missing and I could tell Angel missed having some cat company. So when my mom finally said yes i was beyond excited! She said we could start looking that weekend. On a sautrday morning she said we could go look at petsmart. I can honestly say that I did not think I would be coming back with a cat that day. A local no kill shelter was there adopting out animals. Then i saw her. She had two other brothers and she was a completely different color. I knew i wanted to hold her and when i got her out something just came over me. She snuggled up in my arms and gently placed her paw on my face and looked me right in the eye. That sealed the deal. I remember the first day we brought her home and she fell off the back of the chair! I used to have to pick her up and carry her to the litter box. Since that day she has been my guardian angel. She completely changed my outlook on life and gave me something to believe in. She follows me everywhere and when i leave to go back to college she gets upset but I'm doing it so i can provide a better future for her and hopefully save more cat's lives. I even started volunteering with that shelter which ened up saving another kittens life. She is definately my angel and I don't know what I would do without her
