Soon he sees 10 motorbikes approaching as the roar of the engines becomes higher.
Each bike is decorated with colorful catnip balloons. Lola rings the bell and Stitch opens his door.
Zoe Monique, Cyndee, Thundie, Mallow, Ammie, Talley, Dasher, Elvis, Kali & Queen Lola get off their bikes and take off their helmets while they say:

coming by with a caturday vote. we had some glorious sunshine today! haven't seen it for awhile so even the horses were laying in the sunbeams! mol. our black feral cat furiend has been parading around. mama likes him but isn't putting food out for him. i don't want to fight with him. he comes up on the porch with me at night then runs when the doggies come out for walkies. i'm not scared of no stinkin' doggies! one swat on the nose and they squeal and run. mol. just purrfect....
day and weather for blood work first thing, then a nice long 3 mile walk around middle street block, getting cc done in record time noon or just before, then sitting out- side reading for 2-3 hours as well as topping that off with an after supper walk with natty. bright blue skies, 70s and ideal for being outside. threats of a frost last night so janet covered up summer squash and tomatoes along the fence. likely to loose them in a first frost coming on monday lower 30s. sandy, ana, haley, angelsCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

♥ FRIENDS ... ♥
Today 20th of July we´re celebrating "Friends´ Day" in Argentina the way we do every year and we thought we would write a special blog for our friends.
Many of you already know the story you are about to read. It takes place in Spain, where a gorgeous black kitty named Fum and a Tyto Alba owl by the name of Gebra became best friends.
Gebra (from the Catalan "Gebre" which means "Frost") and Fum (which means "Smoke") met each other in May 2010 when they were both one month old and have been together since then.
They became famous by a video their owners uploaded in You Tube last year and was seen by lots of people all over the world.
We think this video is one of the sweetest and most amazing things we have ever seen and it reflects very well the special bond between these two fellows.
The interplay between Fum and Gebra is a lesson of friendship and kindness. Everytime Mom sees them playing in their video she wishes she could see through the eyes of an animal, a cat, a dog, a bird...
Wouldn´t it be great to contemplate the universe and all the living beings on it without any bias? Wouldn´t it be great to enjoy it the way it is?...
Gebra can fly and Fum cannot do that. When Gebra flies he runs through the field and sometimes, Gebra also joind him in a walk, although owls usually don´t take walks.
Some of us (humans) can fly, some other can run, that´s the wonder of the world. We´re all different and yet we are here to love, to share, to give.
Today we´re celebrating our old friends and welcoming our new friends with this message of friendship and love. No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted.

wow been a wild week here so far! had record lows mon 4 and then tues -4 then it started to warm up as the next morning down to 12 and 31/2" of snow on the ground yes- terday morning! janet was out as usual shoveling from 4-4:30 getting her half of the driveway done as all were hoping for a delay in school starts, but not to be, right on time! janet got cc done as she breezed through it and deleted some of the crap in email before having a rushed breakfast and left by 6:15 due to slip- pery roads which weren't plowed out till later that morning! it all disappeared by last night with warmer temps and rain! :) for that and thank god too!!!! :) now it's gotten colder again only lower 30s today with lots of wind and upper 20s to 30 tomorrow with snow coming in again tomorrow night with yet more cold air. a pos- sible noreaster snow or rain on saturday, got our paws crossed for no snow, but rain! anaCome visit me, ana, haley, malachi is my boyfriend! whiskerscotm & sandy, angels, vote whiskers cotm!.

Gorgeous picture! I also notice some new pics below...do we know these kitties? Thanks for stopping, as always. Sorry that mom has had issues with her computer lately...we've just had lots of issues with the CC. Difficult to vote when the voter button doesn't work, right?
Well, little Velcro has given mom something to worry about the last few days. Mom took her to see Doc Friday morning as mom didn't think that she was doing so well. Doc checked her and said that he felt that her discomfort was due to her overwhelming heat while being spayed. She didn't have a fever so mom brought her back home. Caturday morning, she still wasn't eating and mom got more concerned. She took her back to the vetspital for another checkup and this time, she did have a fever. She got fluids, antibiotics and pain medicines. Mom had to force feed her after they returned home. Mom has never had any such problems with any of us after a spay so this has mom puzzled. Thankfully, Velcro, had more of an appetite this morning. She's still not her wild self but at least she's eating. Mom did something silly yesterday. She washed Velcro's fuzzy 'surrogate moms'....Velcro nurses on this fuzzy pad and it had become kind of smelly. Would you know that Velcro doesn't wanna have any part of this 'mama pad' now that it's been washed? Mom cannot win. Everything is fine at the Cathouse.
Mom loves craft shows too...she's picked up many kitty items over the years form such. Hope you have a meowellous week.

Dear, dear Queen Lola and King Mickey,
Thank you so much for inviting me to your purrfect wedding. Sir Kit and I must have danced our little paws off and I know we both ate to our hearts content. You have made such a wonderful Queen, I shall always think of you that way. I think probably both of you are sleeping for three days straight after all the excitement. It was wonderful getting to meet old friends and new and I loved getting to meet the unicorns. They are truly magnificant.

So happy for the royal couple
Let me add my congratulations to the host of others. What a beautiful day and thanks for letting me be a part of thr ceremonial guards as we raised our swords in salute of the happy couple to form the arch of shinny steel. My I think I had goose bumps hearing the Higlhlander Piper play his bagpipes and the Angels chorus sing again.

Your wedding was so beautiful and Winslow and I had the best time, ever! I'm sorry I didn't talk a lot after the wedding - I guess I was too busy eating, dancing, and did I say, eating? :)
Anyway.....I rested a lot today, to let my food get all settled and now, I'm ready for some more fun. I must say, you have given us a WONDERFUL month of parties, activities, and loads of fun, dearest friend.

Everything was perfect, the food, the music, the food, seeing all the other CC friends there, and the food, oh yeah I already said that MOL...so you can tell from that, that the food

Congrats!!
What a beeeeautiful couple! The ceremony was grand, the bride a vision with her handsome groom! And most of all, the reception was THE BOMB. I havent had that much fun in I cant remember how long... although, I've gotta say, maybe I went a little overboard on those catnip canapes, hehe ;)... I guess I'll have to have a double playtime today for the exercise as I wouldnt want to lose my boyish figure.
