"Base!"
My humans don't get the concept of tag. If I get to base (empty water box) before they catch me, I should be safe! I even yell when I get there that I'm safe on base! Yet, they still get me and take me to my room. So not fair!Come visit me, Maggie, Ruthie, Cutie's kittens & Cutie.

Renewed my subscription to HumBuzzOoh
My human renewed our subscription to my favorite "TV" station (HumBuzzOoh) today. She filled the feeders outside the living room windows, so I can watch (or doze off) all day long from the comfort of my couch or chat with the hummers and bees through the window from my pedestal climber. It was my birthday yesterday!
It was my siblings and my birthday yesterday the 3rd of August. My humans kept singing happy birthday to my sister Ruthie and I all day. It really bugged poor Ruthie who seems to be senstive to singing, especially off key singing which my humans are famous for. We didn't get a birthday cake or presents, but our humans gave us kitty massages. My new role in the family is bug catcher!
My humans love that I can find bugs. We have an ant problem and I just love to locate them and eat them. I can smell out those little buggars and get my humans alarmed that I have found something big. I also find spiders and have fun chasing and trying to eat them too. But, my humans ruin my fun and kill them with a tissue so I can't have it. They keep saying I might get sick especially if it is a hobo.Come visit me, Maggie, Ruthie, Cutie's kittens & Cutie.

Boy have I had a time of it!
My tummy problems became real bad. I had to go the the doctor and they stuck a thingy up my rear to tell me I had a normal temperature and then they stuck another thingy up my rear to take a stool sample. I had a bacterial gastroenteritis. I had to swallow some yucky stuff and they put a bag of fluids in my shoulder. That HURT! Then, I had to take pills for 10 days. I didn't make it easy for my humans though! They held me down and kept my mouth shut trying to get me to swallow the pills but I held fast and as soon as possible I spit it out. Ha-Ha. But of course, they picked up the sticky thing and shoved it down me again. I had no choice but to swallow it.
I am all better now and back to my faster than a speeding bullet through the house routine.Come visit me, Maggie, Ruthie, Cutie's kittens & Cutie.

I have tummy problems and have to watch what I eat
My human yells at me a lot when I try to eat my mommy and sister's food. When I used to eat their food I was finicky and didn't like it much. Now that I can't have it, I want it most of all. I have to eat easy on the stomach dry food and senior canned food. I like the canned food but I am finicky now in what I will eat. I like the ones that have a lot of gravy and don't like the chunky ones. My human has to smash it all up so that there are no chunks and warm it up and then stick her finger in it before I will eat it.
My mommy and sister want what I eat and they get yelled at when they try to eat my food. I'm glad I am not the only one who gets yelled at!Come visit me, Maggie, Ruthie, Cutie's kittens & Cutie.

visits to the vet, not happy days
My mom, sister Ruthie & I had to go to the vet and have our shots. Such a horrible, no good, terrible, miserable, bad day! They weighed us (I way the least) and stuck a thermometer up our hineys and looked in our mouth and ears and then... Then, they poked us with needles, one in the scruff of our necks, one in the right leg, and then a really loud one in the left leg. This made us really achy and sore, so we didn't want to move around all Friday and even Saturday. We thought all this was over and then three weeks later, we had to get boosters! But this time, we didn't have the shot in the right leg, so we didn't get all achy and stiff like last time. My human mommy said we don't have to go for a whole year. I sure hope that is a lo-o-o-o-ong time, because I don't want to have to go the vet any time soon!Come visit me, Maggie, Ruthie, Cutie's kittens & Cutie.

Spa day
You wouldn't believe the week I have had! I had to have my toenails clipped and a bath. I hate baths!!! And to top it all off, Jennifer put these yucky blue fake toenails on my nails. They aren't very stylish. They keep getting caught on my hanging toys and I get caught hanging on the backporch. I have worked hard at removing all but a few of them. I'll show her. My human was wanting a lapcat, so she got one! I discovered a great place to catch her attention: when she's sitting on a big white pot, I jump up on her lap and purr madly while walking back and forth.Come visit me, Maggie, Ruthie, Cutie's kittens & Cutie.

I'm still very active and very much a beggar. I even become lovey-dovey on occasion now and want petted (usually when someone is eating and I hope to get something).
