How are you, dear CC furiends and family? We hope you have been very well! Thank you so very much for coming by to help us celebrate our COTD win on June 30th and a special thanks to the kitties who left votes along with their blog the day before. We were so surprised when we saw US in the COTD window! It made us all purr with delight. Thank you thank you thank you again for making our day even more of a one of kind by leaving all those sweet blogs! We had a lot of fun in the spotlight and are so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community of kitties and their pawrents. Ever since we joined we have felt so welcome and appreciated. We are truly blessed by your furiendship! We hope that the kitties whom we were not acquainted with before our COTD win would like to stay in touch. :)
In our last blog we told our furiends how Mickey caught a tiny shrew and mom saved it from him and kept it. Well it only lived until the next day. There was nothing wrong with it. It wasn't hurt at all and before it died it was zipping around all over it's cage, eating, and seeming to be enjoying itself. The same happened with the only other shrew mom hoped to keep as a pet, so mom isn't going to try keeping them in captivity anymore. Oh well. They were fun watching through the cage though. hehe.
How was your 4th? Ours was a quiet one. Not a single firework the whole week. Mom is guessing that was due to them being outlawed or something because of the dry season we've been having. It seemed everyone went with the law so that's good. Not that fireworks are easy to get away with quietly. MOL!!
Last Tuesday mom brought home the most adorable baby bunny. She is around 5 weeks and very small. Mom has been spending a lot of time with Tanya and not to mention taking a gazillion+ photos of her! Today mom put her on Topaz's (our 4-year-old male rabbit sibling) page on SmallAnimalChannel. The first 2 pages of photos are of little Tanya and the other 12 are of Topaz...Told ya mom was a photoaddict!! We must admit there are some purty darn cute shots though so you might want to take a peek sometime. Their page # is 106898. An easy way to get to it is by clicking on the Critter of the Day and then changing the numbers in your web address to 106898, just like here on CatChannel. Unlike CatChannel, on SamllAnimalChannel you can leave blogs on pages even if you don't have one on your SmallAnimalChannel account. So leave them a note while you're there. Hi Coco, Hawkeye, and Cherry Storm.
Don't worry about it friend; sometimes I can't get momma to answer my blogs right away either. It's not rained much around here; we keep seeing the rain heading our way but it doesn't arrive. My momma isn't happy about that, she says we could use the rain. Will you be coming to see the fireworks tonight? We've got the boat stocked with all types of food and drinks. It's a big cabin cruiser with front and back decks and an upper deck for extra viewing. After the fireworks we'll be cruising up to Lake Huron and back. We hope you can come.

Sorry for not pawing back sooner; please forgive me. How are you? Boy, did I have fun playing outside this morning. I love to hide in the bushes and watch the bird and squirrels. MOL. It rained this afternoon so I helped my momma do some things around the house. I supervised; I'm good at that. MOL. Did you get to do any bird watching today? Tonight I helped my sister, Tia, play with our cat teaser wand. She doesn't like it when I do so. Sisters!! I left you a vote. Have a pawtastic Friday.

How was your day? I had a great time playing outside until my momma made me come in. She said it was getting to hot for me to be outside. Geeze momma, if you just bought us kitties a small "kitty" pool we'd have no problem keeping cool. MOL. Tonight I entertained myself by climbing on the top of mommas computer desk. She gets upset when I sit in front of the computer screen. Momma says she can't see what she's doing when I do that. Well, that's OK with me; she suppose to be paying attention to me. MOL. I hope that you like it here on the CC. It can take a little while to get known but kitties are very friendly. Left you a vote. Have a pawtastic Wednesday.

Welcome to the Cat Channel; I hope you like it here. There are a lot of nice kitties here.
My goodness, you have a very nice family. My siblings have already visited your siblings. Who am I? Opps sorry, forgot to introduce myself. I'm Sebastien and I'm happy to meet you. I'm four years old too, well at least until the end of September.
I love catnip too. We have catnip plants growing in our garden. It tastes so good right off the plant. Do you have any catnip plants? Bird watching up close is fun isn't it?? I love to do that too!
We're having a party on June 27; I hope you can make it. It'll be a cruise on the Detroit River to watch fireworks. There will be food, fireworks, and lots of fun.
