Well mom has been trying to cut my nails while I am sleeping next to her! She is very sneaky. She has gotten one front paw done. She tried last night to get my back paw but then I wake up and move. I like to kneed all the time especially when I am being talked to or groomed. How about you? Do you kneed?

We hope your mom gets a scholarship! School is worth it even though the prices are so out of control. Mom has not trimmed my nails but she keeps touching my paws and picking me to get me ready and now she can not find the nail cutters she thinks we put them where she can not find them. She hopes this weekend we can try to trim my nails. I love the furminator and the regular comb. Koko only likes the reg comb and not the furminator. Maybe you have sensitive skin/fur like Koko. Today we played in the tunnel chasing each other even Smokey got involved! A small child could fit in our tunnel that is how Smokey can fit! I was bad a spilled a big glass of water all over the night stand. Mom did not get mad cause she still thinks that there is something wrong with my eyes then after I almost knocked over a bowl of water. Has the weather cooled yet? it seems its hot everywhere this week!

That is so great your mom is going to be a vet. We have a friend who has just finished her undergrad and is planning on either going to be a vet or a doctor. Your mom must be very smart. Denver is nice mom has lots of friends who moved there for work and a few family members who grew up in Denver. Most of moms friends live in an area called Highlands ranch in Denver. You are brave not to mind your claws trimmed. Mom says her and dad are going to try tomorrow. I guess its better than taking a car ride to the vet!
Do you like to be groomed?

Yes I often close the door on us in the bedroom. I like to roll around behind the door and then put my paw under the door and somehow it closes....I do it all the time. Mom and dad are home most of the time cause mom is still not working cause of her stroke and dad had to quit his job cause they would not extend his leave. His job was in Scottsdale and he can not stand the heat. Dad is hot all the time. Dad has a friend who lives in Alaska and he gets moose in his backyard. They are huge and you have to have a candle in your car just in case in the winter your car breaks down. Thank you for the tips on cutting nails. I dont know if it will work since I dont like treats and I am kinda afraid of dad. Not for any good reason I am just scared. I am warming up slowly to him. Mom says cause I did not human interaction when I was little.
Do you mind getting your nails trimmed?

I accidently locked us cats in the master bedroom Sat, except for Smokey. Mom and dad went over to grandmas house and spent the night. Thank goodness they came home by 8am. Since then I have been sleeping in the sunroom. I do like my belly rubbed but only when I decide. I am getting a bit braver with dad. Its only been in the high 70s here which is fine with all of us. Dad is always hot and likes to sleep with the window open which mom does not like. Mom also tried to cut my nails but I would have none of it. Do you let your parents cut your nails?

We love to drool all over the toys too! It was 86 here today but its cooling off. Its only 66 right now at 9pm tomorrow its not supposed to be so hot. It seems we have a few days of 80ish weather and then cools down for a few days. Mom posted two new photos of me. One I am in the bathroom sink and one I am with my favorite catnip banana. Does you mom know about lionbrand yarn and their website. That is where mom gets here ideas to make catnip toys. Also does your mom make blankets? Mom likes to knit and crochet but she only knows the basics.

Oh we hope Bluestar does not eat any more hair bands! That is so nice that your mom makes the catnip toys for the Petsmart cats. Do you try to steal them when she is making them? Hopefully you get some kitty grass soon or you can have your mom plant some chive seeds in a pot. They are very yummy! Mom has to still go get us some more since we destroyed the one she had and got dirt everywhere!

Happy Sunday! That is great how you all got your names. I do love catnip especially a catnip banana. Mom lets me have it and then she puts it away cause Smokey likes to take it from me and then he gets his drool all over it! Sometimes mom makes catnip toys around the holidays. Hopefully she will do that again and we can send you some to enjoy. She makes them for the shelter to sell to help raise money. We also like kitty grass and chives. Charlee loves chives and so does Koko. Koko ate all the leaves off moms ficus tree plant. Mom thought he killed it but its coming back now. Do you like to eat plants or kitty grass?

what a sad story about the Sammy 1st. Poor cat and your poor mom. Sammy is good name its funny how many cats have the same name. I got my name from one of the vet techs who had a cat who looked like me and she had the name Mia. Mom tried to come up with another name but kept coming back to Mia which means Mine in Italian. Smokey was named by our human sisters even though he is Orange! Koko was originally named Kiki and mom and dad thought it was too much of a girl name so they changed it to Koko. Charlee Girl was a foster(but ended up staying)and the people said she was a boy so mom said Charlie was a good name but it turned out she was a girl. We dont think she knows her name...we think she thinks its pretty girl cause mom is always telling her that! She also tells me that but I know my name. Mom says thanks for the hugs. She is doing better today and she is letting us play with our tunnel. We plan on making lots of noise later tonight. Do you like catnip?

Our sunroom needs to be redone the people who owned the house before us built it themselves without permits....mom says with duct tape and mickey mouse construction. We will have a new sunroom with a new floor and plumbing for a small sink. We hope its not too noisy but we will just hide hopefully mom will let us in the guest room! Mom says she forgets words all the time. Poor Tigger did not have cancer but had to be put down due to her kidneys were so bad and impacting her heart. Mom is very sad but knows she did the right thing. Our vet has a no kill shelter and does not put down any cat that can be saved or has life left. Koko has been looking all over for her and I have been wanting more lap time. Are you a lap cat?

Your photos are so cute! Do you need to wear glasses to read! Your house sounds so cat friendly! We have the sun room that has most of our stuff. We are going to have construction on it soon to tear it out and rebuild it. Mom worries about the noise level. Tomorrow Tigger has to go to the vet, we hope that she does not have cancer. Her mom and brother had tummy cancer. She is either 16 or 17. So good that the fireworks were not so bad. I think it was loud here cause many people did not go away this holiday.

How are you today? You dont like to jump? I am not a big jumper either. I like to be in the master bedroom resting or on a window perch looking at the birds and looking out for our neighbors cat...his name is Rudy and his family leaves him out even in the rain. Mom had an uncle who was a truck driver. That is a hard job and being away. Our dad had to take a job in another state last year. But now he is back cause mom had her stroke and she can have another stroke anytime. Hopefully her blood clots in her brain go away so she can go back to work and dad can find another job. We hope you have a good Fourth of July and dont get too much noise!

I hope your paw is doing better! I can only jump maybe three to four feet. I sometime jump on the sinks in the bathroom but mom worries I will hurt myself. I also like to watch the birds and the bees. We are going to have hot weather and we dont have air conditioning. Mom was going to get it but she had the stroke and then dad had to quit his job to stay at home to make sure she is doing okay. His job only let him take two months of leave. We are glad to have him home and we hope he can find a job nearby. Do you ever get people food? I dont like it...well I like tuna but thats about it.

Thanks for the vote! I left you another one, too. Sorry about your paw, man. Sisters sure can be a bunch of trouble, but they can be nice sometimes (just don't tell Pinkie I said so.) I've had two sisters. I may have had sisters I was born with, but I don't remember. I lost my fur family when I was really young and had to eat garbage and stuff for a long time until I got picked up and put into a SPCA place where my mom found me. My first sister was Emily. We were the same age and got adopted together. She was my best friend (except for my mom) but she got really sick when we were about 11 and she didn't want to play anymore. I still cuddled up with her to sleep. After her heart didn't work anymore and she crossed the Bridge, she sent Pinkie LaRue to be my new little sister. Pinkie has been here about a year and a half. She is only 3 years old and she is sometimes too much for this old dude. I have to swat her and tell her to back off and learn some manners. Do you ever have to do that with your sister?
