Thanks for the congratulations and the vote! We sure have had a lot of partying going on over here lately. First my birthday, then the surprise COTD win and finally Easter. Whooo Hoooo it sure has been fun! Thanks for celebrating with me!
I hope you had a great Easter. Mom and Dad fumbled together in the kitchen (neither one of them are good cooks MOL!). They baked a ham, sweet potatoes and some kind of a vegetable casserole thingy. There's lots of leftovers. My brother Dasher has his eye on the ham.

We invite you to meet Mischief, a 2 year old beauty who brings joy to others as a therapy cat! Mischief was adopted by her wonderful family after she and her 4 littermates were left behind when their owners were evicted. Thankfully they have all found loving homes. Mischief shares her love for life with her family, and fursibs Duchess & Dayzee, as she bounds through the house, makes flying leaps chasing after Da Bird, and enjoys the outdoors, with Mom in tow, although she would prefer to be without her harness & leash!
Mischief’s work as a therapy cat is a very enjoyable experience for everyone! She brings sunbeams of happiness with her and leaves everyone with big smiles! Twice a week, weather permitting, she and Mom make the journey to two nursing homes close to her neighborhood. Although Mischief doesn’t exactly enjoy the car ride, once she’s there, she loves everyone she meets. She sits next to Mom on the couch, and patients come up to pet her and share their kitty stories! Mischief reminds some of them of the kitties they used to have, while other patients are waiting to go home to their kitties. She also visits patients in their rooms if they aren’t able to get out of bed, and leaves her loving pawprint on their hearts! Thank you for stopping by to congratulate me when I won my first COTD award on 7/6! I apologize for the delay in replying back but it’s very hard to get any blogging done with the family on vacation plus try to keep my kittens rounded up in one place. I’m very grateful for the warm welcome that everyone gave me & my sweet furbabies when we joined CC & was very surprised to win the coveted honor the day after I arrived here.
My babies are growing fast & mom put up some new pics today. Still no luck getting hold of the 2 orange ones, although the short haired one is getting braver each day & coming closer to mom when she feeds. My long haired orange baby is being timid though so he’ll take more time & patience that all the others combined. My tiger striped & white baby are already quite comfortable being picked up & I’m very happy about that! I’m so proud of my litter of kittens & also proud of the honor of earning the COTD badge last week. Thank you again for coming by to congratulate me sweet kitties. I may be shy around strangers but it will be a day that I’ll purr about & remember for a long time to come!

Cold today!
Wow - low 50s! That's warm for us. Gracie and I love to sit on the balcony in the 50s and watch the birds, etc. go by. Blowing leaves are fun to watch too.
Real cold here todau - high of 15 or so. Starting to snow. Hope mom's alright at work. Oh, can't wait to see your other outfits cutie. Mom says she needs to find snowsuits for us if we want to go on the balcony in this weather. No way. I will NOT be seen in one! I am THE DUDE!!!
Well, gonna sign off now. Gracie wants me to come hibernate for a while with her under our favorite blanket.

I sit like Jabba tubbo that I am. Just noticed you're in Florida. Lucky you! Cold here and getting colder. I've become even more of a tubbo "bulking up for winter hibernation" as our doctor calls it. About 17 here now with a little snow but a storm is supposedly on the way - more snow - not my favorite. Think I'll stay under my favorite blanket with my sister.

Jupiter rules the night in November 2011 as it shines and beams, like a lighthouse, in the east moving westward and upward from evening dusk until morning dawn.
Meteors in annual showers originate as grains of dust or ice in space, left behind by comets. After midnight, the part of Earth you’re standing on has turned so that you face head on into the incoming stream of space debris. So you typically see more meteors after midnight – unless the moon happens to rise in the middle of the night. Although the moon may wash out some Leonid meteors, it acts as your guide to the meteor shower radiant and the red planet Mars.
The annual Leonid meteor shower ramps up a few additional streaks of light and gets underway in November 6. With the Moon currently waxing toward Full, the best views will come before dawn tomorrow and Tuesday in the hour or two after the Moon sets. Astronomers expect the shower to peak the night of November 17/18.

What a great photo of you and Santa. We did not know what we were doing when we first came to cat channel. Thank you for stopping by. I wonder if Lymphoma runs in Maine coons. We just lost Leticias daughter Tigger to kidney failure. Leticia was moms first cat and she would carry all kinds of things around the house but once she saw a person she would drop it.
